  • It was Black Friday and I've had my eye on this for a while now. It's got tremendous loosening torque and it's small size means I can fit it where the big gun won't go.

A great tool for use where there is little space for full-size compressed air impact wrenches. Especially for suspension bolts, exhaust, brake calipers and pulley screws etc.

That's exactly why I bought it. Gets into the spaces the big gun can't, but still hits as hard.

Great gun. I use the 9012 SPC, 850nm, The big one like your Bluepoint. :)

Nice! I've been looking for an excuse to buy one of these. How many ft/lbs was the tightest bolt you tested? (or Nm i can convert lol)

The two I slackened and retightened to a 120nm, your typical wheel bolt. The others were off the scale on my torque wrench. It's not THE most powerful gun, but for its size it's amazing.

How big of a compressor do you have?

First off, thank you for your Videos, especially the Chinese Diesel heater Vids, I thought i should mention, that Shear Force {Unbolting etc} has little relationship to Compression force[ fastening force] check out some of Ave's videos.
The Shear force on an inclined plain will always be less than the compressive force on an inclined plain [screw thread] forgive my command of the language, as i am on my second Coffee and Whiskey,,hahha

Yes, I should have been more clear in the video. I didn't want to demonstrate it undoing X torque. But rather the little tiny gun could undo wheel bolts that had been torqued up to spec.

It isn't anything particularly exciting. It's a Wolf Dakota 150. You've given me an idea to make a video about it now. :)

Yo pedí que alguien la comprara en Alemania y en un viaje me la trajeron, el "distribuidor" de México me cobraba 4 veces lo que cuesta en Alemania y había que esperar 3 meses. @reynoldflores7599

Considering a stubby one myself, for places where the IR231 doesnt fit (same as your bluepoint, obviously made for snap on by IR or possibly a clone of the IR231) (If your finding the bluepoint low on power, Amazon (among others) have the rebuild kit with new vanes etc, pepped my IR231 up a good bit, before it was using a lot of air and not doing much, now it does a lot and doesnt use as much air.)
Tune up Kit I got: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000E0P40C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (though I have seen it on sale sporadically in the UK)
I'm considering either the Hazet or the Facom NS1600F

Have you seen the AvE video where he compares impact drivers? And also finds out there is a Chinese manufacturer making most of them and they just get rebranded. So the £500 Snap-On is the same as the £100 no-name.

It's not there to be looked at. It's to get used. I paid extra for the silicon cover.

this is silicon protective cover for Hazet pneumatic miniguns models:
      9011M (3/8") part number 9012M-S,
      9012M (1/2") part number 9012M-S,
and shortest model 9012M-1 part number 9012M-1-S.

@@DavidMcLuckie The cover is senseless in my opinion! Tools are gonna get scratched anyway 🤭
