Honestly I love that scene RoboCop clearly knows he's faking it or just saying it to get out of trouble and is thinking. "Oh no you don't you slippery little weasel. This time I am making sure your torment of the innocent stops here!" It gives the same vibes as "Dick! You're Fired!" "Thank you"
hearing this while blasting my way through this level was legitimately awe-inspiring. i havent had a game immerse me so far into the psyche of an 80s action movie in honestly a decade
The music peaked when I got to the top of the snipers nest tower with the Cobra Cannon. Didn’t even move, just took hits and dished out trouble. No video game moment made you feel more like Robocop
Basil Poledouris's music was sorely lacking from RoboCop 2, the only decent piece of RoboCop media since the original, so it was amazing hearing this again. Who would've guessed we'd get a proper RoboCop sequel 36 years later?
So many easter eggs in this game. My goodness I miss the original theme so much. And Peter Weller reprised his role as the part man, part machine, all (Robo)cop.
I wished Nancy Allen coulda respired her role. But teyon nailed her likeness at least. If only thr next robocop game rectify robocop 3, and do Lewis justice
She gave permission for her likeness, but either wasn't free or didn't want to voice, also her voice may well not sound the same anymore. The actress they got did a pretty good job, IMO.
This game gave a level of nostalgia I haven’t gotten from a game in ages! The little details from the movies sprinkled in this game you can tell it was made by fans! It didn’t disappoint at all! Granted the faces of the characters when they talked was a little odd but overall I loved the game and can definitely see myself replaying it!
@@TheAngelOfDeath01 It may indeed have been but I also know that "The Little Engine that Could" is an actual children's story so maybe that's what they were referencing as, in the story, the engine never gave up and in the game, neither did RoboCop. Whatever it was, it was a bloody awesome reference 👍👍👍
I watched it only in 22 years, and much after a remake. I consider 2014's Remake a good movie as it could be in shadow of nostalgic Original, and do enjoyed Original films as well.
Its amazing how a video game company can score the sh!% out of Robocop, as it should be! Compared to the shocking attemps as done by the series and subsequent crappy spon offs / sequels (part 2 that is)
Ive never seen Robocop, but playing the game and having this start blasting, as _i_ started blasting those dirty punks, i was like "holy shit, im *feeling* this" Definitely going to play it when i get home tonight. Gonna try to focus on the story first run, then on newgame+ try the hardest difficulty
If you are talking soundtrack, I already have. there is only 2 songs with 2 variants. Score is another ballgame as they are played in segmented clips based on your gameplay. So you would need to stitch each one together as I have done for a few of them. TLDR, Did already
At 38 years old, I get the Robocop game I deserve to play.
Your move creep. Dead or alive. You're coming with me.
Same here brother, so many memories unlocked
I'm 38 as well. 😂 I feel you! That moment with the Cobra Gun was pure goosebumps.
37 years old, I can't remember how many times I replayed that battle with this theme!
37 in less than a month. Amen.
"Ok, I give up"
"I'm not arresting you anymore"
I mean he had 30 whole ass seconds to comply.

"I have a bigger fish to fry."

@@alexkist8607Better yet, they respected the RoboCop 3 lore even though it was so bad...
All this epic music... a fitting tune for Wendels funeral!
Hell yes! I loved it playing as you hear him and his mercs scared shitless as robocop was tearing through them without stopping!
I love this game so much, especially how it tied its soundtrack in with the original score.
*picks up the Cobra Assault Cannon
YUP. Best 80s power fantasy moment I think I've ever had. The friggin *SHOCKWAVES* from that thing knocks people all over/kills them.

I just wish they could've got Nancy Allen as well and had a more epic opening when Robocop first appears in the game.

Have you seen Nexus mods? You can get her voice modded there.@@endykun

Wow, the main menu give us a sad version of the theme song while the construction site music is triumphant
Can you believe this?! He's like the little engine that could!😂
It's actually a Thomas the Tank Engine reference, if I am not mistaken.

“Dead or Alive, you’re coming with me”
I was like a child again. (Yeah i shouldn't had watch Robocop at 8 yo but damn it was good)
Same. Remember buying it on VHS myself even though it was only to be sold to over 18s and I was like 8 or 9. They didn't check my age lol :)
@@ProcyonMantis My father recorded it on a VHS, i watched it so much i damaged it ^^
Certainly, it was too violent for our age back in that time xD
why you shouldn't. It forged my best attitude

I finished it last night on the hardest difficulty ed 209 is tough but loved every minute
I can honestly say that I did, too. I have only encountered a couple of games that did that for me, but this was one of them. I am with you 1000%
Do yourself a favor and watch at least the original movie, possibly part 2, avoid part 3 at all costs please.

1:19 that sounds suspiciously close to the NES Robocop 2 intro.
Yeah, I thought that too, and I suspect it was intentional.
it's so epic...
Bad language makes for bad feelings.
Awesome music. Think you could extract the final boss theme ? Can't find it anywhere...
I could take a look
