Liam really loves taking injured people and letting them find and love new families. Though Caleb is sooo much more damaged than Vax... at least from what I’ve seen so far of C1.
There are a rare small number of such talented musicians that give me that feeling too. Toby Fox is one of my favs (the music he composes for his retro RPG games manages to make me feel SO nostalgic, as if I played those games tons as a child on SNES... yet they were brand new to me here in my late 30s). @@Kaczyfunny I found critical role about 6 months ago. I started from episode 1 of campaign 2 and I'm just over half way up to date. I would recommend doing the same. It is a huge time sink and can be pretty daunting but its not going anywhere so you can take your time. Its a great story and it has important items and characters that came out pre episode 5 that are still super important where I'm at now. Hope you enjoy it. :-)
Whenever I listen to this song all I can imagine is a priest in a fantasy world opening up a box that has a weapon of his past life he swore not to use again, only to use it again to defend the village he cares for against bandits and raiders and using necromancy. Let me explain, ever heard of Critical Role? Essentially it's a group of professional voice actors who play DnD every week and stream it on twitch and youtube. They became rather succesful, and it really shows in their increased production value for Campaign 2 & 3. They even got part of their first campaign adapted into an animated series on Prime (The Legend of Vox Machina). If you got time to spare or want something to listen to in the background, definitely give it a go (Best start with Campaign 2 or 3, or with Calamity). Now, a show with that many people watching is going to get some fanart eventually. A lot of fan art and animations. There happens to be a fanmade video about one of the characters of Campaign 2 (Caleb), with this playing as music. The song is pretty much a perfect fit for that character, so critical role fans discovered the song through the video. The same happened to the song "My Friends" by Oh Wonder. Definitely don't watch the fanmade animation with that song in case you're worried about significant spoilers for early Campaign 2.

People tend to forget that the cast is all professionally trained voice actors who are really good at improvising. They have gorgeous battlemaps and figurines nowadays, but that's not something you would see in an average game. So I would give you the opposite advice: Give it a try. Just keep reasonable expectations for when you partake in a campaign. (Also ignore the toxic fans, some of them just can't help themselves and hate on certain cast members.)
