The Gordie Howe International Bridge will span the Detroit River, connecting Windsor, Ontario, Canada, with Detroit, Michigan, USA. It will be located approximately 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles) downstream from the existing Ambassador Bridge.

Back in the mid 80's I drove an expedite truck in and out of Canada. I was coming into Detroit over the Ambassador Bridge on Devils Night. It was just getting near dark, and with all the fires going, it looked like a war zone. Another nice video.

What is the target date to join Canada and the United States?
