I really enjoyed making this video and have learned heaps about Qantas. Let me know what you want next. Music: Song 1: Cartoon - Why we lose Song 2: LiQWYD - Memories
2021 and onwards (i guess): Qantas selected the A350-1000 for the Project Sunrise Flights. This aircraft will be used for long range flights with more room for economy seats.
2024 and onwards (i guess): Qantas ordered and has taken delivery of a couple of Airbus A220s to replace the ageing 717s and has ordered some A321XLRs to replace the 737s. They also ordered the 787-10 to expand their international network. They also ordered some ex-Spirit airlines A319s to expand the regional network mainly in Western Australia
@@theflyingkiwi3145 Qantas Link is not based in Perth, it’s Australia wide and Network Aviation is owned by Qantas and based in Perth. My goodness, did you make most of this up???? You’ve hardly got one fact correct in this entire video and you’ve got the gall to correct someone else????
@@Rocket-hb6jh saying it’s based in Perth doesn’t particularly mean it’s not based in other places around the country. I know I might have been unclear in the way I said it. Also I wasn’t really correcting him I was just trying to say Qantas and Qantas link are not classed as the same airline even tho Qantas owns Qantas link.
There are SO MANY ERRORS in this it needs to be done again. Qantas started in 1920 with the Avro 504K, not 1927. Qantas never operated the Comet, it was a BOAC aircraft with BA crew and Qantas on one side only. Not the L-049 Constellation, Qantas operated the 740 and 1049G. The 707-138/B was retired in the 60s in favour of the 707-338C which was retired in 1979. Too many other basic and grossly incorrect dates, etc. that you need to at least do some research. This is the problem with people starting channels that know nothing about the subject and just pay lip service to facts. I learned nothing from this other than how little you know - brings all your others into question if you’ve shown the same ‘stone skipping across a pond’ attention to detail.
Ok, I’m sorry I know I have been making a lot of mistakes lately and this was one of my first videos. I still make lots of mistakes in my newer videos but I am being more cautious now when researching for them. I’m happy when people correct me tho so thanks for that anyway
@@theflyingkiwi3145 sorry, I didn’t mean to sound like lecturing it’s just that I’ve been very close to Qantas my whole life. I shouldn’t have judged not knowing it was your first video. I’ll check out your others.
@@Rocket-hb6jh thanks. I am trying to make my videos better but I can’t find everything out. I understand how I could offend (if that’s the word) people with mistakes in videos
