I really loved the setting. Essentialy a bunch of actors stuck in one place for the whole movie. This is how good writing and acting come into play.
stuck in a warehouse full of caskets.
It's amazing how Tarantino can make a movie that's basically 88 of its 90 minutes of guys talking to eachother and he has your complete attention the entire time. what a marvel.
i really hope he doesn't stop making movies. he's a cinematic treasure.
Well... I hate to break it to you but he said he will stop directing films after his 10th film and he currently has 9 nine films
Fun Fact: Mr Blue was played by Edward Bunker a former bankrobber turned author/actor.
Viki I think you missed the deeper meaning in "Reservoir Dogs". You took it as just dialogue being rattled off by each of the characters but there is a deeper psychological dynamic going on in the movie, which is what takes it to another level. Because Harvey Keitel (Mr.White) feels responsible for getting Tim Roth (Mr Orange) shot. HE stops thinking like a criminal and starts taking on a father figure role, soothing Tim Roth (Mr. Orange) as he bleeds out. He knows ROth's going to die, he feels responsible for it and it won't let him entertain the fact that Tim Roth is a cop. Tarantino's subtext is always next level and gives the meaning of events in the movie so much more psychological impact than would be in a normal shoot-em-up heist flick.
Well said! =)
Hmm interesting
Hehehe your collective reactions to Mr. Orange revealing he's a cop was epic. Also the scene with Mr. Blonde dancing and singing is iconic.
Orange revealing he's a cop isn't even the big reveal in that scene - the big reveal is the uniform cop knew who he was the entire time - and didn't say a fucking word. what a legend
I think the end of the film is one of the most powerful and memorable endings in cinema. This and Jackie Brown are Tarantino's best work by far
@callmecatalyst Jackie Brown is an absolute masterpiece.
True Romance is his best.
4 rooms is awesome too.
@The Cracked Lenses He wrote it. It’s his best work.
He's got a lot of good stuff
Michael Madsen's character, Victor "Vic" Vega (Mr. Blonde), is the brother of John Travolta's character in "Pulp Fiction", Vincent Vega.
I like how in the opening scene Mr. Orange reveals himself to be the rat, tattling on Mr. Pink to Joe about the tip.
Reservoir Dogs, largely feral dogs that live on the fringes of society like at a reservoir or a trashyard. They are mean, opportunistic and constantly fighting each other.
This is my favorite movie of All-time. Quentin very first movie he directed. All for a budget of about 1 Million dollars. If you get a chance, watch the movie True Romance. Tarantino wrote the movie but sold it. This allowed him to direct Reservoir Dogs. True Romance is an amazing film. Tarantino did not direct it but you can tell it has his dialog and vibe.
Lawrence Tierney, the actor who played big boss Joe Cabot, starred in several classic film noirs back in the fifties and sixties, starting with his portrayal of infamous bank robber John Dillinger in the 1945 film "Dillinger" and notably playing the heavy in the 1947 film "Born to Kill" directed by Robert Wise. "Born to Kill" holds up well. Check it out when you can.
I would love to see this group react to the movie “Goodfellas”
If you listen closely, you can hear sirens and the cops shooting outside before entering the warehouse to shoot Mr. white! You have to assume Mr. Pink was shot and killed in the shootout with the cops outside! No one got away with the diamonds!
well he could have shot himself out as with last time.
He was shot but he survived. You can hear him scream, "You shout me, goddamit!" before he gets clapped in irons.
This movie is how P!nk claims to have gotten her name. She said that Mr. Pink was her favorite character and her and her friends were always quoting this movie to each other.
Viki is so cute, singing along to the song and then freaking out over the violence 😂
For many people it is the best Quentin Tarantino film. I liked his reaction to the Mr. Blonde dance.
there's a whole genre of films largely set in one room/location, if you're into that kind of thing. It often brings the best out of the actors because they usually have to be a lot more convincing/persuasive to pull it off. I love it.
This is one of my favorite movies i saw it in the theater i kicked back and waited for it to come on again I also really enjoyed once upon a time in Hollywood
I've tried to pick my favourite Tarantino film several times, but it's so difficult. The ones I like least are probably Jackie Brown, and Death Proof. I watched a feature on the making of Reservoir Dogs, and it was so good. How on the shelves there were jars with Orange, White, and Pink things in them as reference to Mr. Pink, Mr. White, and Mr. Orange. Also, I watched a YT clip about where it was filmed, they went to the diner where the Like A Virgin conversation was had, and the laundry where it was shot (which is no longer standing), that was interesting too. I like all behind-the-scenes stuff. I really like Michael Madsen's acting in this movie, I'm surprised he's not been more successful than he has been. Check him out in Above the Law where he plays the leader of a biker gang. Also, Michael Madsen is Virginia Madsen's brother. Virginia Madsen was in the original CANDYMAN.
Viki is right, this is a movie with great performances, with very difficult dialogues and situations (the story of the policemen and the dog in the bathroom has gone down in history as one of the most incredible scenes in Tarantino's filmography) . But it is also a film with one of the best montages ever made (excuse me, I'm Spanish, do you say "montage" in English?). There are very few directors as adept at it as Tarantino (Scorsese, Spielberg, and few others). Scenes like the one of Mr Blonde's torture of the policeman, with static shots interspersed with a camera in hand that makes a tracking shot following the torturer to his car and back to the garage, or again the scene of the bathroom anecdote, in which the bathroom scene itself, narrated by Mr Orange as if he were not there, is in turn inserted into the scene in which he is telling the rest of the band in the bar, this scene in turn is inserted into the scene in which the cop rehearses it in front of his partner with all those graffiti behind, and finally this scene is inside the rooftop scene in which his partner explains to him what a "commode story" is . In short, this film (let's not forget, it is the first film directed by Tarantino) is a technical and artistic prodigy. Without a doubt, one of my favorite films, a masterpiece.
QT spent his entire music budget on 1 song: Stuck / Middle w U by Stealers Wheel
You also need to see Glengary Glenn Ross (1992) a film that has a similar theme involving a robbery that is never seen on camera.
I loved Lia's impression of Mr Blonde 😄
Poor Lia - so confused and shocked - love her
This movie is BLOODY beautiful.
Cheers homies 😘
Crazy noir thriller from Quentin Tarantino involving a group of violent thieves that soon learn that one of their own might be a police informant following the aftermath of a failed jewelry heist.
Tarantino's first movie. He maxed out his credit cards making this movie.
If you guys liked this movie you should see "A History of Violence," and "Eastern Promises," both good crime movies with Viggo Mortenson.
There tends to be a magic to a great directors first movie.
Swingers
Resevoir is Rèsevoir in French.. Hope that helps. Mr. BLONDE is in KILL BILL as the same character. There is a crossover in the 'Tarantino Universe'. That and John Travolta's character in Pulp Fiction is the brother of Mr. Blonde.
4 rooms is a movie you NEED to watch.
For the record, Mr Pink was absolutely correct about tipping and his McDonald's analogy was the mic drop
Cheapskate. Cough up a buck.
Since you have already done Tarantino's 2nd film, "Pulp Fiction", you should continue with the rest of his work. In order:
- An acting role in Robert Rodriguez's "Desperado" (w/ Antonio Banderas, Selma Hayek, Danny Trejo, and Cheech Marin)
- "Four Rooms" in collaboration with Robert Rodriguez. It is an anthology of 4 short stories with Tim Roth, Antonio Banderas, Selma Hayek, Bruce Willis, Paul Calderon, and Tamlyn Tomita
- "Jackie Brown", Tarantino's 3rd solo film, from a book by Elmore Leonard. Lots of well known actors in this one.
- A main acting role in Robert Rodriguez's film "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" (not the Netflix series of the same name), with many of Tarantino's and Rodriguez's standard actors. The film takes a surprise turn, so do not look at anything about it, even the thumbnails or poster/cover art gives it away.
- "Grindhouse: Death Proof"
- "Grindhouse: Planet Terror"a double-feature, Tarantino did "Deathproof" and Robert Rodriguez did "Planet Terror". Tarantino acted in "Planet Terror".
You girls are AMAZING! Reservoir Dogs is one of my favorite movies!!! I discorvered your Channel a couple of days ago thanx to the reactions video of La Vita è Bella. I cried with you all! One message to the girl in the middle, with the red hair (I swear I will learn your names!): the black and blue hair was the BOMB, like the colour of my Inter MIlan! 🖤💙 Greatings from Italy!
Mrs White on right, Mrs Purple in middle, and Mrs Black on left (based off shirt color). We're gonna pull a job together, we will find a way to prank Ellie
Saw this in theatre back in the day, it was immediately electrifying and transformed cinema. Still, I like True Romance, it has perhaps my favourite scene in all cinema, the stand-off between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper.
Goddammit, when Michelle says daddy it makes me feel all kinds of ways lol
Tremendous reaction to one of Tarantino’s best movies. This was awesome ladies. Thank You Lia, Michelle & Viki. (Viki, I love this hat that you wear from time to time. It really suits you).
Nice reaction guys. If you haven’t seen “The Usual Suspects” then definitely check it out.
He did a few other films he helped write or were a bit involved in...true romance, from dusk til Dawn, a couple others. But this was his first complete writing and directed film, and still my favorite! He totally breaks character as Mr Brown, at the breakfast scene, when he laughs, after what the Boss says. Pro tips, James Woods was up for Mr White, but his manager didn't give him the script... James fired him! The movie wouldn't have been made unless Harvey Keitel put up 5 million and insisted on being Mr White! Vic Vega is Vince Vega's brother, from Pulp Fiction!😮😮😮 He wanted to do a prequel with the brothers, but never got around to it. Mr Blue was a real life Bank robber and criminal, and started writing in prison. He started getting interest in his stories, so when he got out, he started writing and acting! No one liked the boss, he was a more stuck up Old school Hollywood royalty actor, and a bit insane. The other actors several times almost came to hands with him!!
Great reaction. You should reaction to "Death Proof".
FYI the pop singer Pink took her name from Mr Pink. ( I'm full of useless information like this ) 😉
Tarantino's first movie.
Orange shows he's the rat in the beginning when he rats to Joe that pink doesn't tip notice he's the only one who spoke up, a rat always jumps first.
You should watch the Bob burgers parody to the ear cutting lol...very awesome
Mr pink would fit in so well in 2024
Remember kids, crime doesn’t pay.

Its so relaxing after a hard day at work to hang out with these beautiful Bulgarian women. Heeeey Liaaaaa...... 🥰
Harvey Keitel (Mr. White) is a badass.
Nice one ladies. Really enjoyed the reaction. Don't think you have to be so prohibitive on certain scenes and music . Its not necessary. Nobody else does. x
Tarantino is such a good director.
I'm with Mr Pink... no tips
First time to see reservoir dogs 🐶, thanks homies
The next Tarantino film you have to check out is Jackie Brown.
Death proof as well
Supposedly, Mr. Blonde is the brother of Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction.
Not supposedly, Vic Vega confirmedly is the brother of Vincent.
DJ Steven Wright is the best as K Billy
definitely my favorite Tarantino film
24:37 "Oh no, I used the word." You always use the word, Michelle. I'd be more shocked if I went through a reaction in which you didn't drop an F-bomb lol.
Fantastic reaction
Mr Pink is shot outside...
Hell with that watch reservation dogs
What happened to demon slayers?
I recommend watching Monster House for Halloween
The last moments were hilarious. Not a hilarious movie, but dark-haired fedora woman reacted like me, when i saw the end of this movie.
Please react to School of Rock (2003) & Nacho Libre (2006).
Hi girls, I’m really happy you reacting to a classic from my childhood. 🎥🎬 being a rising actor myself, I see how much work goes into these movies and you notice what are just fun movies to watch but end up being cult classic’s. Right too. Great actors who have great careers after this movie. 🎥🎬 I’m praying for a role like this sometime soon. Pray for me please 🙏🤍💪🏽😄keep up the great reactions, you should try (The Lost Boys) if you not seen it already. Another classic trust me and should get a lot of views off that movie. Also you reacted to Silence of the Lambs, when are you going too do the Sequel too that movie 🎥 (Hannibal)?? I think it’s a better movie 🎥 and it’s directed by Ridley Scot.. the director of Alien. Take care 🤍🎥🎬💪🏽 Clint
Oh, girls, u gonna love this one.
You did say it right michellemoonsugar!
Liavibesgirl. Its a warehouse
Sorry, the shirt reminds me of Terrence Malick and his expression of nature and grace. The Tree of Life and The Thin Red Line dig deep into those ideas.
Nature and grace. There is an essay about movies by some magazine from your part of the earth. Give it an exploration. Nature and grace.
I heard this Movie is Mad Gangster..Glad you Ladies Love a Great shoot ‘Em UP😎👉💥💥💥
Ahhh the young lady in the white t shirt is so beautifull
The Rock (1996)

Nature Solace? Urban fighting? Cool hat, even if you're the psycho in the group. All joking a salad.
ffs you can show more of the film
He's right about the tip. Tips are only for those that perform above and beyond the requirements of their job. No tips for average.
Have you worked in the food industry?
@@JedHead77 Yes, I was a waiter at Chilis when I was getting my degree.
@@warriorpitbull1170Then you should know tips should always be given, unless the service was terrible, especially when most servers are making a low wage.
@@JedHead77 Nope, servers chose their job. If they do an average job, they get their pay like everyone else. If they do a good job, are attentive to their customer's needs and are polite etc. then they deserve a tip.
No one deserves a tip for doing an average job just because you think their wages are low.
I also live with a 'server' who feels the same way. She rightfully gets pissed when she sees other servers give shitty service and are rewarded with tips.
@@warriorpitbull1170 Well they deserve to be pissed when others get tipped for bad service. If I get average service, I still give 15%, especially as business suffered so much because of Covid.
Vickie..... all day long
Girls react to Deaht Race unrated 2008 and Deaht Race 2 unrated 2010
