The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) of the Government of Assam, organized the National Press Day in Guwahati.
The National Press Day observed on Saturday across of the State at various press club.
National Press Day is celebrated annually on November 16 to honor the important role of a free and responsible press in society. It also marks the day in 1966 when the Press Council of India (PCI) began its operations.
