Great tutorial! I'm a total newbie at deep cleaning my setup since I got proper cleaning tools only recently, and this helped a lot in cleaning my keyboard
Thanks for the video! I recently got a apex pro keyboard 2 months or so ago and im looking forward to cleaning it. Also, love the energy in the video, you can really tell you enjoy what you do. Keep up the cool content!
Great Tutorial. I am going to have to do this to my keyboard so I can get rid of a lot of issues specifically in regards to the 't' which has been sticking.
I used a collander after soaking the keys and rinsed them off well with cold water. Strained them really well and then placed them in my food dehydrator on the lowest heat setting (haha). They were dry in 30 minutes.
This would have been helpful if it wasn't the fact that my keyboard was different. It didn't have the bubble pieces under the caps, and now it's worse 😢
What about non mechanical type keyboards? My keyboard is an LG and the keys are soft and flat. Which is what I like. Can I still pull the keys off the same way? I only need to clean the WASD keys 😅

Awesome that's great to hear. I'm glad it helped and enjoy the clean keyboard!

4:08 The truest part of this whole tutorial:

I don't have a keybind remover but it worked great still, This tutorial was super good it helped me very much. Thank you!
Use a toothbrush next time between the keys instead of the qtip.
Works really well

OK, fine for one of those 1980s-style PC keyboards, but how do you clean a modern keyboard such as those made by Apple?
is there anything that will work as good as the rubbing alcohol?
btw great tutorial !
Also tip - take photo of keyboard to remember where keys go incase you dont have it visually memorized
I cleaned my keyboard so well it looked new.
Do what he did but also use a toothbrush to then remove anything stuck around the keys.
whilst draining water / soap in sink be sure to utilize drain hair catcher so as to not lose keycaps down the drain .
What do I do about water that’s inside the hole where the keycap connects to the board?
Just give it more time to dry or use a q-tip or paper towel to dry it before putting it back on.
Great cleaning tutorial! But how do i remove switches from this keyboard, i poured some coffee on..
what about the wires? i take them off the same way?
Yep, pull straight up and push straight down to put the keys back on.
My keyboard is dirty inbetween the board and the switches but theres no screws holding them together
if only I had the things mentioned in this video
thank you, there were so many.. bugs.
accdentally broe the eycap 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁
It would be have been helpful if mentioning to take a photo of the keyboard at the beginning of the video. 🙄🙄
Uhhh, I did literally at 0:16 in the video…
Terribe tutorial. The key point is how do you clean inside the keys where the contacts are. Lubrication is missing all together. Very lame :(
Furry keyboard
Lol meow!
