Hello my friend! Nice video!..I'd like to ask you something...is it easy to use it and handle it with one hand or is it heavy and difficult? Of course i know it depends of the body strenght of the user but i'm asking this question because i'm interested to buy this axe, but i'd like to have an axe that i can handle it with one hand too...
I have a tomahawk my brother made me, has a longer shaft like your axle, I need to get out and swing it around! Mike, what is your sharpening system? Thanks for the great review!
Hey man!! Thanks! I use a 1x30 table top belt sander with various grits depending on what I need to do. I use it in conjunction with a custom adjustable angle guide that a sharpening guy in Hawaii sold me. I also sometimes use a Fallkniven dc4 stone for quick jobs or just to keen an edge up!
@@mattamathics1108 I was thinking a belt sander would be good for swords. I have some knives made by a guy in Sao Paulo, just got a super nice Bowie from him. I do knife solo drills but I want to get a sword and start cutting. I love how sometimes you say WHOO when it's a good cut, I know it has to be fun!! LOL
Thank you for making this video you're actually sent some things that I would have said so that's cool I have the Condor blowing knife and that thing is amazing ends I'm a noise Pagan and trying to find like a weapons very hard to find that are actually carving Steel so on Amazon it says like 80 something dollars not too bad I guess I'll buy it just what I'm looking for it and put up on a wall and actually use if necessary so they do make a Viking sword which I'm interested in to
Nice review and nice ax. The only thing i don't like about the battle ax is that it gets stuck everywhere. No splitting power. I only have a small throwing ax. Before i get into ax fighting i want to be good at sword fighting. The thing that sucks is that not that many people want to fight with swords these days. Most people don't want to do anything that requires them to "exercise". I would like to join some HEMA group here in Montreal but i haven't found any. I tried to join a Kendo club but they were a bunch of fakes that wanted me to be vaccinated or i can't enter. Very dishonorable people , that i want nothing to do with. Cheers.
Thank you!! I would also love to join a HEMA group. There are some near me however I already belong to a Krav Maga school that I train at twice a week. Between work, my kids and Krav class…I just don’t have time. Definitely someday. I usually read original manuals and training guides however having training partners to spar with is key to good training. Also having an instructor!! Thanks again for watching!
@@mattamathics1108 Yeah , that's what i do too , read ancient manuals i can find on the internet. All sword enthusiasts should move to the same town. That would solve a lot of problems. The honor , integrity and gallantry might improve a little also. Cheers.
Could you please make a video of a sparring fight using these axes?
Or what sense have the axes anyway?
