Soundcore have been my go to since May 2019 in both headphone and speaker department. I've bought 7 different devices (3 speakers and 4 headphones). All are still working. Have had 0 issues. My only issue is that they keep making new, better gear lol. On the up side, my 2 kids benefit from the hand me downs 😅😅
I'm listening to this on my PC using my Life Dot 2's, and even with this pair I've been impressed. I really want the Space A40s, specifically for the app support, LDAC, and transparency mode. But the fact of the matter is, Anker/Soundcore has been offering incredible value for the money for a while now. The aforementioned pair of earbuds have been amazing, with a whopping 100 hrs of battery life total (albeit with a bulky case to accommodate such a feat) and solid audio quality + comfort. I just wish these had been given a little more love, but for $50 at the time of purchase I can't really complain. Still, I'm pretty much sold on the A40s at this point--and I too have the Galaxy Buds+, though I only use them with my phone primarily since they have "ambient sound" and a much more "pocketable" case (despite much worse battery life than the LD2's unfortunately).
Great review Brannon. Glad Bob is your uncle. Bob and qi charging sold me along with the LDAC, 10 minutes fast charge, and the signature sound which Soundcore has been known for. The Space A40's are great! Great ANC! Excellent battery life- close to 8.5 hours with ANC on. I also have the Space Q45 headphones and they are also excellent! ANC right up there with the best- and 50 hour battery life. I recommend both of these highly!

I have the Anker Soundcore Life U2 and I love them. I am thinking about getting these or the Q45, for listening at home. I have a motorcycle and a bike I ride alot and the neckband controls and having the battery on my neck is amazing. I have the Samsung buds and the battery freezes when it gets close to freezing temperatures. The neckband headphones, I can put the battery under my jacket and I can listen to music when riding, all year long, of course with just 1 ear, so I can hear traffic. The Anker Soundcore Life U2 impressed me and they are ipx7 waterproof, so I wouldn't mind having a pair for watching a movie, video's, or music.
I currently have soundcore liberty 3 pro these are amazing I'm doubting space a40 are replacement for 99.00 vs 169.00 msrp I've seen lp3 at 99.00 at killer sale. Yes app is amazing battery like is better on a40 but well have to see if pro series gets an upgrade this year but your video is awesome. What's your opinion in both models? Thanks
If you're using an Android or a PC, probably the space a40. They benefit from having LDAC. If you're using an iPhone, probably just get the cheaper one since it's not going to support ldac anyway
I must have a faulty unit, little difference between anc and normal mode. The performance is clearly below the old soudnpeats t2. Used different size rubber pieces and test fit said sealed. Bought following reviews, very disapointed.

Bought A40's and wanted to block Starbucks music, so I could listen to my music. Some noise canceling, but not at all silent. Blocks more low frequencies than middle or high frequencies. Seems never quieter than when earbud batteries are completely dead. Not sure if ANC is working. Comfortable, sound quality good, but disappointed with midrange noise canceling. Cannot use these to completely silence the background for sleeping. I may not have them tweaked out. Only had them for a week. If someone knows how to get ANC for silence, please let me know.
How's the fit in your ear? Usually it help. I bought jbl reflect pro, none of the ear tips that came with it fit me properly being it around eartips style. So I bought spinfit cp360 man its like 200% better fit for me. It sounds like having a subwoofer in your ear. I also order the space a40, can't wait for it. Got spinfit for it just incase the eartips is rubbish.

If you need best phonecall quality - go for Liberty4 (not the MC version), they are amazing for phonecalls. Liberty 4 don't have that huge battery, so if you want to sleep through the night in them they won't last enough hours, although they are surprisingly comfortable even for side-sleepers. Space A40 are a better choice for sleep, as a bonus for women - they won't get caught and pulled out by long hair, but they have mediocre call-quality and don't have automatic pause feature for when you remove them from your ears.

Wind noise reduction does absolutely nothing. Regular earbids block the wind sound. When the slightest amount of wind hits these earbuds, it's the equivalent sound of someone blowing into the phone when on a call. This is all while listening to music

Loved your review on these and the soundpeats mini pros, so here's me asking: in your honest opinion, what would pick between these two as both a better all-rounder and a better bang for buck pair ? (For now the mini pros are around 50$ for me on Amazon and the A40s are close to double the price, hence why wanting to know your opinion first before going for anything lol)
You have two great choices to pic from for sure.. I really love Soundcore app there's nothing out there like it. But I also really love what Soundpeats are doing with sound on there buds as well. Thank you so much for answering me this quickly at the time, I think I got so obsessed with the mini pros that I really got insecure about how good everyone was making these space A40s sound when they got out hahaha. And funnily enough here I am rocking them after buying them for my birthday, and by the way yeah these were, pretty much a no brainer at this point, the amount of features you get is unparalleled, especially with the fact I got mine for 84€ (which is the same in dollars nowadays lol), and yeah with me missing out on the Amazon 50€ mini pros, these getting back to 70+€ and not going down again after weeks and weeks, I gave up and I can pretty much say I'm happy I did. You are absolutely right about the application btw, the user experience is as friendly/rich/premium as it can gets, and I'm happy I can experience the same things couple of my friends did in the past with the release of the Sony XM3s for example. The ANC also really surprised me, did not expect it to be as strong and versatile on that pair, which is what I've been saying these things have it all it's kinda insane. The only thing left for me is listening to proper high res favourite tunes of mine with the LDAC on, and actually I wanted to ask you about it because I kinda have an idea on how to do it but I'm not too sure. Basically my main source of music is listening through Spotify, but obviously the max bitrate is actually the lowest you could read using LDAC which makes it pointless using this platform, therefore I imagine with my android phone probably being compatible, I may have to find myself a High-Res format of an album I like and transfer it directly to my phones files (or use a High-Res streaming platform like amazon music or Tidal). Is that basically how you did it ? Would be much appreciated being lightened on this topic, anyways thank you so much for the recommendation still, I'm about to have a ton of fun with em 🥳🔥🎵

I particularly prefer listening to folk and classic music, for example, so i would rather a better voice sound quality one. So I’m really in doubt of which i should get since i heard the Life P3 are better for rock/hip hop and stuff. @@kubiyoshi2744 I actually got these yesterday. I'm quite happy with it. I'm guessing most people who complain about bass are using loose ear trips. Also with bass enhanced in custom EQ, I'm satisfied with ldac quality sound. Considering everything, these buds are excellent for the price.
Ewww good question 🤔 I'd say depending on what your mainly using them for.. if you find yourself laying down while listening or wearing a stocking cap or helmet etc. I'd go with the A40. If none of those things sound like you I'd do the Liberty 3 pros😉

Will definitely be returning back to my Liberty 3 Pro's as I've now compared the two and the sound on Space A40 doesn't come close to the Liberty 3 Pro as that has such a better sound stage imo.

Supposedly it helps to take the hearing ID customization, also for the ANC.and then use strong anc mode

And funnily enough here I am rocking them after buying them for my birthday, and by the way yeah these were, pretty much a no brainer at this point, the amount of features you get is unparalleled, especially with the fact I got mine for 84€ (which is the same in dollars nowadays lol), and yeah with me missing out on the Amazon 50€ mini pros, these getting back to 70+€ and not going down again after weeks and weeks, I gave up and I can pretty much say I'm happy I did. You are absolutely right about the application btw, the user experience is as friendly/rich/premium as it can gets, and I'm happy I can experience the same things couple of my friends did in the past with the release of the Sony XM3s for example. The ANC also really surprised me, did not expect it to be as strong and versatile on that pair, which is what I've been saying these things have it all it's kinda insane. The only thing left for me is listening to proper high res favourite tunes of mine with the LDAC on, and actually I wanted to ask you about it because I kinda have an idea on how to do it but I'm not too sure.
Basically my main source of music is listening through Spotify, but obviously the max bitrate is actually the lowest you could read using LDAC which makes it pointless using this platform, therefore I imagine with my android phone probably being compatible, I may have to find myself a High-Res format of an album I like and transfer it directly to my phones files (or use a High-Res streaming platform like amazon music or Tidal). Is that basically how you did it ? Would be much appreciated being lightened on this topic, anyways thank you so much for the recommendation still, I'm about to have a ton of fun with em 🥳🔥🎵

In terms of sound quality, which one do you prefer (life p3 or space a40)? I particularly prefer listening to folk and classic music, for example, so i would rather a better voice sound quality one. So I’m really in doubt of which i should get since i heard the Life P3 are better for rock/hip hop and stuff.

@@kubiyoshi2744 I actually got these yesterday. I'm quite happy with it. I'm guessing most people who complain about bass are using loose ear trips. Also with bass enhanced in custom EQ, I'm satisfied with ldac quality sound. Considering everything, these buds are excellent for the price.

I'd say depending on what your mainly using them for.. if you find yourself laying down while listening or wearing a stocking cap or helmet etc. I'd go with the A40. If none of those things sound like you I'd do the Liberty 3 pros😉

@@BrannonNod I bought myself a pair & for me the sound is no where near as good as the Liberty 3 Pro & there is definitely less bass. I'm actually disappointed with the sound quality on these which is a big shame.

@@BrannonNod Yes done all that & tried all the buds but just can't get a decent sound. I listen to alot of rock & Metal music & it just doesn't sound as good to the Liberty 3 Pro. Will definitely be returning back to my Liberty 3 Pro's as I've now compared the two and the sound on Space A40 doesn't come close to the Liberty 3 Pro as that has such a better sound stage imo.

These are becoming my new everyday buds. My 7pro I think I need to be replaced. Volume has gotten really low and switching between work phone and personal is a hassle not smooth like when i first go them
