- The DJI Air 2S (store.dji.com/...) has it's own 'FPV Mode' which allows you to capture shots similar to those from the new DJI FPV (store.dji.com/....
Unfortunately due to mixed frame-rates, the footage from the Air 2S is a little choppy, my error.

FPV REALLY needs to be 60p or it is unbearble
All we need is for DJI to link the Mavic 2 Air S to our DJI goggles and we will be way ahead in making great videos.

I fly my air 2s with dji goggles and rc pro.
I am not sure I like the FPV mode to be honest.
If only we could use the motion controller on the air2s, making sweeps like that would be easier and more fun too! Although I'm pretty sure sooner or later DJI would enable the motion controller on the air2s and their other drones too!
DJI has stated that the Motion Controller won't be compatible with the Air 2S, but let's see - perhaps the community can push them towards considering it again!
@@Droning-ON They could add FPV goggles functionality too to make buying the DJI FPV Combo even more worth it.
I wish, there's no reason the air 2s shouldn't be able to go upside down and dive
I don't get why the AIR 2S can't fly in FPV mode like a real FPV drone? ... Maybe with a little bit more gimbals smoothing for better Footage but that should be all
GREAT stuff! An important corollary to many potential buyers is that the DJI FPV with single axis gimbal WILL ALWAYS yield ONLY those yawing/tilting horizons! (CAN NEVER give a consistently level horizon or vertical walls/buildings = 'horizon lock'!)
I'm guessing that you have DJI's goggles V2! Seems that powering up Air 2S with the goggles on will give a prompt in the goggles asking if you want to switch! Would be great to know if that IS possible as well as the same for the Air 2S/DJI Motion Controller!
I was just playing with this earlier. And coming from an fpv background it does look nicer to me.
On the Mavic mini that was !!

I just bought the air 2s from dji directly. I updated all firmwares and the dji fly app and still cant get fpv mode to work...nor can i get mastershots to work...i have tried everything, searched all over the internet and nothing i have found has helped. Starting to have regrets on this drone. 😔

What frame rate did you use? I noticed the video was doing similar things to some of my videos in that it snaps every once in a while from frame to frame. I’m thinking it comes from lower frame rates. What do you think?

Hahaha, its cool to get some high quality shots from those dji drones. Really love them. But you will NEVER get near fpv footage with dji (exept their fpv drone of course)... go watch some botgrinder or Mr steele videos and u will see what a real fpv drone wants to do 😜 greetings from germany fellas 🤘🏼🖖🏼

I have just aqcuired my DJI Air 2S. It;s a fabulous machine and you demonstrate some of its abilities. I had a slight issue with paIring but I loaded all the updates and upgrades. Specially important is loading DJI Assistant 2. I am a huge supporter of DJI.

Late question if anyone is still reading this thread: Will putting the A2S in FPV mode disable obstacle avoidance? What about Cine and Sport Modes, will they disable it too?
Is there a way to slow down the flying motions trough settings? Man this DJI Air 2S is too fast even in normal mode. For the work I do thr fastness is not needed. Thank you.
Instead of using the Hybrd with the sticks, go into the drone settings and modify the pitch and yaw speed:)

Suddenly, the side to side control (right joy stick) does not respond in any mode but Sport. Is this because of a setting, or a defect?
I just hate shutter lag you get on this vidios, maybe 60 FPS would be better... Footage is not useble in my taste

I heard about this a while back and was hoping it would be reviewed... So this is awesome. Now if only DJI will just get the goggles and motion controller working with A2S... We know it's gonna happen DJI... Stop teasing us.
The FPV mode on the Mavic 2 is not like Air2S so I hope DJI fixes it as parting gift before ît is completely dethroned.

Thanks buddy! I did read today that DJI has updated it's FAQs for the Air 2S and now stated that it won't ever be compatible with the goggles or Motion Controller :(
@@Droning-ON wow, I don't want to believe that, especially given how much better FPV mode works with the Air 2S combined with that 22mm fov! Must be they know this could reduce FPV sales from cannibalism... Such a shame.

Trying to fly a kite like a fpv drone, just get the dji fpv drone or a 5 inch analog freestyle with a gopro.
