Making a reservation for the shows must be new or else it isn’t done on the Davina (a much smaller ship). As you know, we love MSC and found their entertainment great even though there weren’t games like the Newlywed Show. We found that their performers were quite visible and ran into them everywhere!

It is unfair to compare MSC with Carnival in this case. The latter can produce shows in English which will be understood by 95% of the passengers. MSC carry a multitude of nationalities and thus have to cater for the lowest common denominator (usually dance). On my last trip we had mainly Brazilians and, much as I admire Latin-American rhythms, two weeks of it nonstop would be overdoing things.

I like MSC but their entertainment is a Passaroo for me and I’m certainly not going to pay for it. I might sit through one of their shows if it’s free. I love the spa atmosphere of most of their ships.

They where much better a few years ago. Food is not good now. An I travelled a lot on this line. But they lost us. After 10 cruises.

It’s like €9 per show (there are two) and a cocktail is included. Pretty sure we we paid €15 for both shows and we got a cocktail at each show

I hope MSC learn from Carnival who are now seriously addressing law and order on board their cruises......Carnival is getting a reputation of anything goes but for people like me who pay good money and just want a break I don't want to witness people fighting........MSC is also well-known for not taking a serious approach to violence and misbehavour an it's not fair on others who just want a break without the drama.

J& K good vid. I'm waiting for platinum status and when MSC starts sailing out of Galveston before I make that decision to cruise MSC. But I have to say the whole reserving your entertainment/ Shows thing doesn't appeal to me. I know maybe I'm just used to carnival. There is some planning we don on the app for shows but it's not a big deal if we don't go see a show it is what it is.However that whole reserving thing adds another planning part to my vacation prior to boarding. I plan so much in my realy life and for my job that I don't want to plan more stuff.

Have sailed on MSC Divina and Meraviglia (soon on MSC Seashore) Divian was far superior. Meraviglia, a beautiful ship, was a disappointment

I would actually prefer a "boring" cruise 🛳. I would be perfectly happy to spend time in my tiny little interior stateroom and not be surrounded by 5000 of my newest best friends having drunken brawls.
