Paradise Sands is our favorite. Usually not very many people go to it. We love ocean Kay 😊
We’ve never really spent any time on Paradise Sands, but it looks so peaceful each time we wander that far out! ☺️😎😊

Helllooo Chris & Beth, my husband and I never thought we would be cruisers, but after seeing a 3 part series MSC and Ocean Cay And then, obviously the best part finding U2 on RUclips we were like we got to try this because we like to travel and Taste too lol. So after watching all of your MSC videos, we ended up booking our first cruise in October on the Magnifica. So thank you for sharing your experiences and we look forward to watching many more!!!

North Beach is our favorite, great sand, short walk to Ocean House if you’re staying in YC, we’ve had butlers bring us drinks there in the past since it was so close without asking. The lagoon is great for snorkeling, lots of tropical fish, even spotted one of the resident nurse sharks cruising around. It’s also nice and deep, 20-30FT in many spots.

My fave beach is Bimini Beach. I love to snorkel at the end where the rocks are. Thank you for the detailed info for Sunset. I’m gonna try that one next when I’m back next month.
I also enjoy the area where the heil-pad/wedding pavilion is. Beautiful, quiet, and my fave non-beachy part of the island. And I always see your iguana friend 🦎
Hey Kevin, that’s a great tip. I guess we get distracted by other parts of the island and have never spent a lot of time at Bimini but Chris was just saying that we should do that in June.
This was such a cool little trip around ocean cay I feel like I’ve been there now! I will either be going this year or next, just opportunity has to come knocking at the right time!

I am so excited for our first visit to ocean cay. We rented a cabana for the day, i hope they have cabanas at bimini beach as that is where we would prefer to be i think
They did have cabanas on Bimini before Phase II started (and we can’t imagine they’d remove cabanas)… we’ll know for sure in about a week when we return, though.

Hey there. We just got back today and yes there are cabanas on Bimini beach. As soon as you board the ship, go to the shore excursion desk and request a certain cabana. There are 11 on Bimini. If you want to be close to food, restrooms and bar then request 3-6. If you want more privacy then 7-11. Hope that helps 😊

I found lots of small fish while snorkeling at Lighthouse Beach, near the rocks under the lighthouse. Super glad there's a net there, as my friend took a photo of a big shark just off the bow of the ship, from the 18th deck!
I tried snorkeling at Sunset Beach, but the water was too cloudy. :(
I'm sad that my transatlantic with MSC doesn't have a stop at Ocean Cay. Could have sworn there was going to be a stop there, but nope.
Clearly, I need to book another cruise so I can see the upgrades they're just finishing! 😆
I think we have had opposite luck than you on the island or maybe just different weather patterns. We don’t bother going to Lighthouse beach because we don’t see anything and always have luck on Sunset.
You always need another cruise to OC… any excuse will be a good one 🤪🤪🤪

I love your videos doing my first MSC cruise in 3 weeks on the magnifica. I do enjoy the shade where my wife likes the sun. Do you think we need an umbrella or can we find natural shade? Thanks!
Oh yay!!! So excited for you. We would recommend two beaches for you. Lighthouse beach and Sunset beach both have plenty of umbrellas and natural shade. Sunset is our favorite.

We will be going on the magnifica in a few weeks and we got a couple umbrellas and snorkel gear. We dont like ctowds much, do you have thoughts on the best beach for relaxing, snorkling, and low crowds where you can use umbrellas? Thank!
Hi Sarah. We think that Sunset Beach is the best to snorkel and be less crowded. We did see lounge chairs there last time so you should be able to use the umbrella but I’m not 100% sure. We will be there next week. If you think about it… message us before you go since I will probably forget to message you back.

Are there any cabanas near The Ocean Cay Spa (Besides the massage cabanas) or Paradise Sands?
So looking through my videos I do see several cabanas up there. I’m not sure if the are used or maybe the last assigned since it’s a pretty quiet beach and far from food/bars. When we are there in June, we plan to look into that more and will probably do a video on it.
Any news on where the original dark house can be toured?

I thought only YC can use trams?
So there are trams that go around the island also. There is a stop right before the bridge going to Bimini as well as other stops. There should be a sign of where the trams are running for the day
Good to know! On Meraviglia now and Ocen Cay has been Miltoned .. On Seashore on October 20th so hopefully I get there then.
Which beaches are only fir yacht club?
Ocean House beach is exclusive to Yacht Club… and they take you there in your own cart! So nice!
Do you pay for the food on that island
@@wa7632 hey there. The buffet and food trucks serving burgers and fries are all included in your cruise fare. There are lobster rolls that you can purchase for $12. Definitely can eat good with paying and $$

Anyone ! My trip there in March got skipped over , due to bad weather. So disappointing 😢. And I’ll never find a great yacht club price like I had then again 😭 😭 😭

So few umbrellas because there is a lot of natural shade on the island.
