DIY Dozens of Roses really Fast!

  • Let's make a bouquet of knitted roses for our sweethearts! We can easily make a bunch of 5 Minute Knit Roses on any size circular knitting machine! Lovely Flower Colored yarns for this project and Enjoy making loads of them! They are so quick and you can use them in so many ways! As a Buttonhole Flower, a corsage, or a decoration for hats, scarves, cowls, and purses. You can even make a bouquet of them for a Knitted Wedding!
    This project is knit from the point flat panel style doing simple increases on each edge until you have 9 or 10 stitches totally up to you and how big you want your rose to be.
    Machine Knit Rose Pattern!
    1. Cast On 3 stitches
    2. Knit 10 Rows
    3. Increase 1 stitch on Left Side
    4. Knit 10 Rows
    Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you have increased to 9 stitches (70 rows)
    5. Long Tail Cast Off
    6. Running Stitch along one long edge with the long tail from cast off
    7 Pull on the running stitch to gather the rose into a spiral
    8. Stitch through the bottom of the rose to secure the petals
    9. add a stem or pin back
    10. Enjoy!

    Donate knitted (or crocheted) flowers to cheer up hospital patients undergoing cancer treatment, fresh flowers are usually banned.

      These roses are beautiful that knitting machine looks very interesting. I crochet mostly. But have found myself buying a few vintage 70s blankets. I think I like the hippie colors lol. I've made a few bed covers but not planing on any more yarn work for awhile. However, I do have a fondness for it especially this I can see it being fun to do.
