Hi Steve. I'm grinning ear to ear listening to you give examples of how the open door opens and closes. I read the "A Search For God" material long ago, but the open door didn't really hit home, so huge thanks. I just want to add that combining your understanding of the open door with Mark Thurston's books on dreams is a very powerful tool in gaining true understanding and wisdom via working with nightly prayer and resultant dream responses. It's a true honor that you truly understand that it's not "all about me." It took me decades of analytical dream research to fully understand same. So many dreams of being in schools, but I finally got a college graduation dream and also a dream afterward where the teacher was actually sitting on my right in the chair next to me facing the podium because I had responded so correctly to a pending situation that it surprised even him. LOL. Very proud of you. Way to go!

hi I ve had someone open a door and walk through. I thought wow never thought of opening it myself.
Later it closed to someone as I was full of fear but I didn't feel it was my power that kept it shut against the violent onslaught. You are sharing more as I seek an explanation. so great thanks

Question. If an employer elevates their status above the employees, so they do not feel important, and even less than tools, what should we do?

Thanks for the question! While we are not psychologists or therapists, we are happy to offer what our interpretation of the worldview given in the Cayce readings might be for any questions asked.
If we can accept that everything that happens to us occurs to help draw us closer to our Maker, challenging situations (like yours) are much easier to work through. When an employer is not honoring or valuing their employees, the only thing that can be changed is ourselves. Trying to change others is neither our job nor very satisfying...mainly because it rarely works. (smiles)
What we can do is focus on our self-worth and know that regardless of how others treat us, we are still beloved children of God. No one else may add to or take away from who we truly are. Why? Because God shares all that God has with us souls. That means that we were all created omniscient, omnipotent and without flaw. The best and quickest way to describe our current (and very temporary) condition on earth is that God is not catching us at our best at this particular moment. That's okay, because God is patient and is not limited by time or space and already sees the perfect souls we will become in the future as clearly as we see ourselves and each other now.
A quote from Marianne Williamson really puts this concept into perspective. It goes like this:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Remember that glorious truth the next time your employer treats you as anything less. You'll feel better and the employer will eventually wonder why you are so happy!

I think if Edgar Cayce were around today he would identify his past life readings as spiritual. Spiritualism has no ability to judge whatsoever. It chooses & move on honoring the choices of others. I hear a lot of judgement in your voice & that's religion. Your choice.
