My favorite is Stewie happy about the possibility of Lois's father dying is going to destroy her. And the continuation of that when Stewie takes Lois' picture.

The U.S. used the 9/11 attack as an excuse to invade Iraq, even though Iraq had nothing to do with the attack. The joke is that Peter falsely assumes Iraq played a part in it and Brian keeps correcting him.
