Well,We did with Ishin for now. For Kenzan,If Ishin! receive good result like very good sellings,They might considered remake it. Like,Remake whole new story(Since,You know,Haruka sold herself can cause serious controversial in this age.). But yeah,This is as closest to Kenzan localization as we get now.
@@JackofNothingess Oh that's for sure! The devs are very self-aware and not afraid to make fun of themselves and the situations they put in their games!
That was a good laugh! Thank you for including this sub mission in your playthrough! PS. I hope the supporting actors got danger money for having to let Kiryu beat the living daylights out of them!🤣🤣🤣🤣🏴
@@acfnugget7880 Glad you liked it! This is one of the most developped substories in the game, with an actual cutscene and all, so it wouldn't have felt right to not include it! And yes, those poor actors definitely deserve a nice paycheck for enduring this, because they took it like champs!
"Thanks for leaving our pinkies on... I mean... I'm tickled pink to work with you!" Never be Yakuza series if there was no this kind of joke in game. And those film crews bow to Kiryu like he's Oyabun, what a perfect ending.
The humor of this series is always spot-on, and the localization works great to make it understandable for the general audience too! Kiryu finally getting the respect he's due!
So the 2007 live action movie Yakuza Like a Dragon is a movie in-universe of the Yakuza series. No wonder that movie had weird plotlines, the director took a lot of liberties since he doesn't know all the details.
I just loved that ending... they were just like "OMG we recruited a real Yakuza..." XD
All while the good director remained completely clueless!
Just imagine, if Yakuza 3 was remade as a third Kiwami game, they would've expanded this substory as follow up to Kiwami 2's 'Yakuza Sunset'.
Since it said "Based on a true story" I bet they based it of the Dragon of Dojima, at least from what I can tell
@@Beerbottles123 there is a substory in Yakuza 5 remastered that you play in a movie again!!!!
The only time we get a taste for Kenzan or Ishin as of now
Maybe one day the West will finally get to experience those in full...

@@lizdevilz7271 haruka sold herself?
@@ghaith489 Yes,In Kenzan atleast. Which I don’t think people these day can handle that so,They need to remake whole story
5:07 I chose “Let’s do it, you fine man, just the two of us.”
Sometimes in this game, there’s the “right” choice, then there’s the *right* choice.
Absolutely understandable, some things are just too hard to resist!
Now that ending was funny! Looks like they hired the right guy after all!
Kiryu was just the perfect man for that role, and nobody knew why or how! (Except maybe the crew)
@@MrLemmy82 And I got a good feeling that the producers of the game were making fun of themselves here. IF only it is true... Or is it? 😂

Must have been a pain for the localizers to come up with that translation xD
Lmao almost hired the real legendary yakuza
If Kiryu was on board, he would've been a legendary actor for sure!
The look on that guys face as he realised who Kiryu is hahaha
The tattoo is a big giveaway to anyone who sees it indeed!
Would have been even better if the movie they did was based on Yakuza 1 and they only notice it's Kiryu based on his tattoo
It would certainly be a funny callback, but I guess the events of Yakuza 1 aren't that well-known for the general public, haha.

A man to rival the legend of the Dragon of Dojima, no doubt!
