You guys really dropped the ball on an opportunity to pan back to the shooter's face after the milspec slowmo to reveal his face comically caked in soot, like in a cartoon where something explodes in the character's face.

$114 charging handle should have better quality control, with way more quality assurance tests in the initial batches to make sure that the production runs are working as good as the final prototypes. While offering great after-sales warranty service is commendable, customers shouldn't be beta testers for products on the higher end and price point.
@SilencerCo, cool video, but you’ve gotta give specs to make it believable. What was the barrel length? Caliber? Did it have an adjustable gas block? Buffer weight? Even just including that in the video description would up the credibility so much more

@@SilencerCo What testing has been done on the stress of the roll pins? This is the problem I most often see with new ambi charging handles, they seem great at first but don't hold up.
So I see it uses an O-ring on the bottom to seal up the gap? How many rounds / how long with that O-ring last? And how often do we need to replace that O-ring? Is it a proprietary one that only Si-Co sells?
It’s not based on rounds but based on charging cycles. We have over 2k charging cycles with no issues. The o-ring is not proprietary and most hardware stores will carry the correct diameter. The charge handle also ships with an extra o-ring just in case.

Curious as to what it actually does. Just seals the back end or actually reduces gas flow back into the receiver like a sort of secondary adjustable gas block
It seals the area between the lower receiver and the charging handle. This is where all majority of gas comes from that hits the shooter in the face and eyes.
Adding a suppressor creates backpressure which can cause a varying degree of "blow back" into the shooter's face ranging from mild to annoying. This charging handle virtually eliminates blow back into the shooter's face.
Great idea but when you look at the reviews this charging handle has been known to fall apart and not work. No way I am risking this. That is why I stick to mil spec.

Jim, make sure to "tune" the o-ring material. If it is being pulled out it means that there is too much material protruding from the channel. Start by cutting off 1/8th of an inch from the material.
