Munchi munch totally agree, the forehand operates without parameters due to the arms ability to pull too far back. The backhand being across the body has “built in” parameters to assist it. Learning to slice is essential in order to establish strong fundamentals on the volley! Solid insights, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the advice about locking the wrist, mine felt so weak against a hard ball but I now know from yr vid my wrist position was wrong.
