I miss the old RUclips streaming setup. It was the best in the industry.

is ceramic better than lumar ? I had a lumar shop put 5% (the darkest) on my accord 06 and it’s dark but at night my dash lights and all still show through which is awesome for not getting pulled over.. I was wondering is ceramic the same I want dark and the lumar shop moved pls some one lmk or is all tint the same ? as in it being somewhat see through but blocks the heat sametime

Lumar is just a brand. Like Geo shield is the brand that Matt is using. They are both different brands that make 3 types of film. 1.dyed film( cheapest blocks less heat) 2.carbon film ( blocks more heat than dyed film) 3. ceramic film ( more expensive but blocks the most heat) you can get any of these films as dark or light as you want, they all look the same only difference is the heat rejection.

So yes you can get ceramic 5% and it’s the same as any other 5% film. It will just block more heat.

So this comment is really a question for anyone and it may ruffle a few feathers here but..... I have a 20 year old truck (avalanche) 281,000 miles on it....
I don't want to pay 400 dollars on this thing for nano ceramic tint, not knowing if it'll make it to next year you know, so I figured hey Its perfect for me to try my self. Well I bought that black magic nano ceramic tint but after a week of thinking about it, I don't know if I can live with the haze so before I install this stuff is there a similar price point ceramic tint that I can use. I bought 3 rolls of that stuff for 70-80ish after tax. Any suggestions?

You can buy a pre cut tint kit for your specific vehicle, that’ll make it so you don’t have to cut anything out and all you have to worry about is install. It’ll probably still run you over a hundred possibly less than 200 and that’s the cheapest it’ll get. If you want a good ceramic tint job you gon have to put some money up big bro
