Telemachus has been able to grow and learn more with Odysseus there, who trains him in secret with the help of Athena, so when he fights the suitors he does better than he did initially Like, maybe it takes two others ganging up on him before Antinous starts to actually win in this version and Athena pops in to help

He was always capable of becoming a monster in the Og odyssey (I think, don’t quote me on that 😭) I was always calculating and willing to do anything for the protection of his family so I included that thought the dialogue/thoughts Also Penelope reveals her husbands name. Out of song she stuttered on her words because she wasn’t thinking since her husbands best friend died in front of her. But in the song she was confident in it. As the journey progresses everyone understands that it’s Penelope only people who don’t are the suitors.

Now I'm wondering how things would work in the case of Circe and Calypso. Cause Circe flirted with him and Calypso "fell" for him while keeping him for 7 years trying to get him to be her lover. So with Penelope being a woman as well would they still do that or would something else happen?🤔
Since Circe is an immortal witch I like to think she shape shifted like the sirens. And calypso fell for Penelope because she was the only one to end up on her island.

Yes and no. Polities knows it’s not Odysseus obvi. Eurylochus was told that it wasn’t him. The rest of the crew slowly learns over time that its Penelope but respect her- somewhat.
