He is the one who kiddnap Princess Helen and just with that, starting the Trojan War against Kingdoms. Luckly, Odysseus got an idea how to save Helen and it worked. Honestly, I think Helen was kiddnaped against her own will, she could have anyone and she choosed Menelaus, so the story what says that she did it on purpose is fake in my opinion
