I....feel....lost...inside... I....feel....lost...inside... Lost inside. We will never die, but I feel lost inside. We will never die, but I feel lost inside. Lost inside. Lost inside. We will never die.
Almost every song of Klayton..Helps me..In any way.. If I have a problem,I find a solution..If Im sad,I listen to Celldweller and Im happier than never ever before! Thanks for doing that great music!
This is just amazing on so many levels. I love watching Klayton do what he does. I agree with the poster who mentioned the feeling of nostalgia. I kept thinking that myself and loved it. Kind of that 80's futuristic sound (which may seem like an oxymoron, but makes sense in my head).
With some hopeful thinking I searched for a mix of my two favourite songs Lost In Time and Own Little World. And it acts exists. You are amazing man, deeply admire you! 😊
More videos like that please. It was so interesting to look on "live" playing of electronic music. Pleace do some kind of that stuff to your new album (End of Empire). Ofc there recording will be done by parts, but u can do smth like this. Amazing, Klayton.
Daaaaaaaaaamn, this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MineOf ZeDead No, with a vocoder you have total control over what key/pitch/note your voice is, plus when speaking or singing into one, the more or less pronounced or present your voice is will change how the synth shaping it sounds. autotune does all the work for you and only changes pitch to match with a key, it can create some cool effects if you play with it enough, but vocoding is more artistic IMO
Jeromy Fuls I don't really know what specifically the moog vocoder does, but technically it is an "autotune". You play the notes which you want to sound and that changes the pitch of your voice and puts it in the pitch you are playing with the keys. My experience with vocoders, though, is only with digital ones where you need to route one carrier (a synth) and one modulator (a voice) and I am not 100% sure of how a hardware one works.
Omen Ahead This is not true, a vocoder doesn't play the modulator at a different pitch. To make it easy, it plays the carrier with an eq modulation following the frequency response of the modulator.
Osanno Aah yeah that's right. My bad, the description I said is wrong. However, does your voice have to be in tune with the carrier or you only need to do certain vowels to make it sound good?
Separating the musicians from the musically talented and then the talented from the geniuses.
Too good
I....feel....lost...inside...

Can't wait for Midnight Train, if he ever releases it.
How many takes did it take???
Bad Ass
Does that vocoder count as autotune considering he changes the key of his voice?
MineOf ZeDead Autotune refers to a particular program that create the sh***y voice effect you can hear on pop songs.
