- We assembled and installed 8 high bay LED lights for a total of 112,000 lumen of light in our 40' x 48' barn with 16' ceiling height. Utilizing a 26' scissor lift rented from True Value of Northern Kent County to install the 8 electrical outlets and hangers for the lights. Time involved to install lights and build hangers was less than 3 hours (total time for complete installation was over 6 hours with electrical switches and outlets).

Awesome light output. American wiring looks so different to here in Australia. We need mechanical protection on all cables and use 240v. Your switchboards look like stuff from the stone age
@ Morts
Please Do Not refer to This video as a Proper reference for, as You say, “American Wiring”.
So many things Wrong with how this was done.. even before the actual Light Installation.
super cool video,thanks for share
Thanks , was curious on output before I purchased .
Carson have the future un electrial work!!..thanks for you video!...
Cool video! Great job!
How have these held up over the 2 years since install?
Como alguém faz um galpão de tábuas de pinus 😱😱
Can a guy just wire them in directly without having to install a plug in outlet?
On what height did you install them on?.
Great video. I am building a 36x48 barn. I am trying to figure out the number of fixtures I need. Your barn looks well lit with the 8 that you hung. What is the dimensions of your barn?
Thx
Sorry, I should have read your description before posting the question.
+P Sperlik 8 of those lights are great for working in the shop. 4 is more than enough of you are using it for storage. I have them wired into 2 sections so I’m not turning them all on if I’m in and out all day. Good luck with your barn!
@@psperlik7795 If you are not sure how many lights should be installed in your barn, you can directly consult HYPERLITE, they can provide a lighting layout according to the size of your building.
Our company have a new UFO led high bay lights. We would like to invite you to test and share, and look forward to your reply.
Very small UFO High Bay Light
I have a very small food laboratory lit with four old 56w neon lights. In your opinion, if I installed one like this, would it be too much? The laboratory is approximately 15 square meters. Thank you
I purchased high bay light. But it has red wire. Blue wire and green yellow wire. 3 in total. Just wondering. What would I connect to. Black and white and ground. I’m assuming green yellow combo wire is ground. Thanks
The Red is live, green yellow is ground
Do you think this would be way too much for a 9ft ceiling gym?
You can just contact HYPERLITE, they can provide a lighting layout according to the size of your building
how to buy?
I bought 6 200w lights like this. 30x52 with 23' ceiling. Do you think you would ever have a reason to dim them? Just looking to rent a lift only once. Thanks
I don't think you would need to have a dimmer on the units. If you are utilizing the space to work on projects you can never had too much light. I installed mine on two switches, that way if I need to quickly grab something I don't have to turn on all eight of the lamps.
@@EducatedIdiot thanks
How do you wire them to a dimmer?
Depending on your dimmer, but you would use the purple wire and gray wire to control the brightness level. Here is the product manual to see how the wiring should be for dimmers with and without load. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0011/2135/3791/files/HERO_series_instruction_manual_d036f1e4-4eed-4bf4-8465-f8f71373bb3a.pdf?2401
@@EducatedIdiot thanks. It was what I feared. I have to buy low voltage wire and run them the entire length of my ceiling. Wish I had known before purchasing. 🤦🏼♂️
You can control dimming with your existing switch and avoid new wiring in your walls. See 0-10V Blink'n'Dim Adapter, Amazon sales page is www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3FDQCT
Lame, some came to see if you wired them into a dimmer
