Floor joined with Evergrey to perform this song on the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise recently since Nightwish was on the cruise with them and a bunch of other bands including Kamelot.
Evergrey Is a great rabitthole. Tom Englund has a fantastic voice. "Weightless", "Eternal Nocturnal" or "Where August Mourn" are great songs to check out.
Was confused since he was in Sabaton in 2016. Said Hannes Van Dahl - drums (2010-2013) for Evergrey. But they do mix and match a bit over there. Have to freeze frame and check the tattoos.
Thanks for the Evergrey shout out they are a great band and to try some from there last album try Save Us Mid Winter calls album before that Where August Mourns The beholder with James Labrie is good as a calab
There is an interview on Ola Englund's channel where he's talking to these guys on stage with the setup before a show, It's pretty interesting it might be something you would enjoy. Great reaction as always! Looking forward to more!
I remember that the first time I heard this band was with the song "Torn" and I was fascinated by Tom's voice..and then I heard this song with Floor and it was 🤯 I love hearing it again. Thanks for the reaction Thomas. Take care of yourself😊

The singer is also friends with Floor and was a guest on her channel's "Floor Finds". The topic was depression. With which the singer has to fight hard. I also have this song in my playlist. Great song, but for me it definitely has two points of criticism. Firstly, I want more Floor for the length of the song and secondly, I found the section with the guitar solo inappropriate and superfluous. I rarely say that in rock, that a guitar solo is not necessary. It just didn't fit with the rest. At least not in that way. And if this section were not there, there would not be the criticism with Floor and it would at least be a great radio hit.
Hey kerel! Nice reaction, kinda like this song. I heard it before, it's on Floor's Spotify list. Never saw the video before though. But, my friend, if you're going this way, I'm just gonna hammer on where I left about a year ago and recommend 'While Love Died' by Floor's side project Northward. 😁 You're gonna love it, period! Especially the guitar parts... Here's the link, again...😉😁 ruclips.net/video/bAiPeSsqD-4/видео.html C U later kerel 🤘 Oh and btw nice new intro to your channel, forgot to mention! 👍🤘

Hey Thomas, welcome back. I am not going to repeat what has already been written, great suggestions from @94MetalGod, @jeannettesimpson9778 and if you'd like hear about psychology the talk suggested @coyote818181 happen just after Marko announced his resignation from NW. Tom Englund has a degree in psychology.
I have been informed that the drummer is in fact Jonas Ekdahl and not Hannes so just ignore everything I said! 🙈😂
Well to be fair Hannes and Jonas could be brothers …about the same height build and hair and both play in a similar style lol
Where august mourns is epic
Distinctive "nasal" space in Tom's voice. It works well!... and Floor brought her magic!

Eternal Nocturnal was one of the best new songs I had heard in a long time when it was released. I could NOT buy that album fast enough
Where August mourns is a must hear!
Hi, nice reaction, greetings from Poland
Great choice Thomas. A great rabbit hole 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Keep them coming
That's not Hannes on the drums, but he looks so similar indeed! 😂 I think the harmonies really bring this song alive. ✨
Oops! 🤦♂️ I stand corrected. I thought he looked different but then thought, how many long blonde haired drummers can there be!? 😂

@Hanna Bdn De nada! I wish I spoke more Spanish. I only know "Dos cervaza por favor" 😂

I concur - this is great song
Or 'Eternal nocturnal'
@@kungsverige1886 'Weightless' is another good one.
Hey Thomas,
I don't remember if you've covered any HAKEN. One of the best prog bands in the field today.

Fair points! More Floor is always a valid criticism 😄
Floor always understands exactly how not take over when she guests with other bands and artists. In my opinion she is perfect here.

How are you doing ? Hope good
Okay Thomas,looking for"new" bands,here is another one with Floor and Soilworks.Have fun;ruclips.net/video/-yXB7CB6DmU/видео.html
One thing Thomas, It's Hannes van Dahl, not Hans.
Thanks! I thought the 'ne' was silent 😅
@@ThomFoolery1 Swedish names doesn't have silent letters, unless they're foreign names. Hannes is an older "short" form of Johannes.
Tack!
