will you please tell me every part measurement
Hi, I'm sorry I didn't put that in the description, the measurements are wing span: 76Cm, 14 width. Fuselage 56Cm, horizontal stabilizer: 25Cm of width, vertical stabilizer: 16Cm height. Use this measurement to have an idea but you can use different measurements really depending on the weight and other factors.
+Joyplanes thank you
Impressive. Could you please explain the principles for power calculation of component i.e. esc, servos, battery, etc

you have to pay that broken stick dude 😂
I watched this video back in 2017 when i was in 10th grade, I am from Airforce family and my dream is to be a pilot and to build aircrafts. I build rc plane then at 14 years old age which had best CG but it could not fly bcz i have no powerful brushless motors due to low budget. Only my uncle appreciated me for that. I had craze for it and now i am watching it again in september 11, 2024. now I am 20 years old and doing Computer Science and my ambission is to build RC aircrafts and drones powered by AI which can deliver objects in less time with less cost. I wish i get motivation again watching your videos and get some more nostalgic moments of my life. I respect you sir!
Wow, fantastic self-made plane. Worth the effort..
It is only low-cost when you already have all the electric components.
Obviusly you still need the electronics, but you can get electronics for like $50-$60 so not that expensive
@@idk-ir6vv uhh ok budddyyy
@@idk-ir6vv try to multiply one dollar by 51. That's expensive for me, a Filipino
Maru Ivan Rico minimum wage in Phillipines is higher than the equivalent of minimum wage of USA so your excuse kind of goes out the window there
@@friendly.arsonist4851 $60 easy lol. battery is $10-20, motor with esc is $20 and you can get 10 servos for $20 all on amazon
Great build and design!!
Just a hint, for cutting ribs I will join the two wing rib material temporarily with double sided tape, then you only have to cut once :)
I use light aluminium tube to make wingspan frame, it's more light, rigid and stronger.
Great video! I love how you explain everything and include a parts list.
I based my plane off of yours and bought the same servos you used, but my servos jitter whenever I try to move them. I made sure that the FlySky I6 transmitter and receiver are all properly calibrated, but they still jitter. I tried all five of them, but they all seem to do the same thing. Could the problem be with the servos or is it something to do with the receiver?
Thanks so much.
Amazing video! Is it easy to make?
Very clear explained demo for building foamies and some great animation video.
Thank you, you make me want to build a new foamie like yours...
i am really impressed with the quality of the video, nice toutch with the animations. 10/10
Great video. I like how simple and straight you are. keep up the good work! ;)
Thank you!
Love the video man this is some high quality stuff! I like how you cut the wing out with the Hotwire on the table.
(Fishelooge, stab-a-lisers, aleroons. Sorry, now you're gonna think of me everytime you say those three words.)
thanks for posting. some late thoughts for you and your subs. do not mount servos in the tail, MOUNT SERVOS NEAR THE CG. mounting servos aft of the cg makes the tail heavier and more counter-weight is then necessary, for correct balance/cg. mount aileron servos as far inboard as possible. ailerons can be controlled with one servo; see strip aileron configuration. at 1:40, the profile shown is NOT a clark-y, it is semi-symmetrical. clark-y has a flat lower surface. fortunately for you, the profile that was cut has a mostly flat lower surface. (stick with the original clark-y, not the clark-y II, which is a more complicated profile.) a poplar dowel makes a better main wing spar. the spar should extend most of the span; not just the middle one-third. at 8:12, make control horns from an old credit card or similar material, not from an aluminum can. mounting the battery as low as possible increases stability. cg appears to be pretty good. correct cg is 30 percent of main wing chord, aft of wing leading edge. cheers

Hi, thanks for your comments about this project. I'll be making more airplanes and similar projects soon.
instead of using landing gears you can just put on some of those things that seaplanes use to land on water so that the plane can be amphibious
u edited the video very well i just love the music. And the plane flew very well. Even i had made one with 1000kv motor & 2200mah battery but it did not fly. So I have kept it aside for some time
Try to add all the parts you can to the main body before attaching the wings, and when attaching the wings try to get a feel of where the airplane's center of mass is and place the wings there, if your plane tends to nose dive move the heavyer parts more in the back and if it tends to go up move the heavyer parts in the front.
I first make the airplane and then put the componets in place, I always leave enogh space at the nose to be able to change the CG.
Amazing video mahn, can't wait to try this out 😍
Very nice video. Thanks
Very beautiful! Keep up the good work
It would be better to put servos under the wing,u get better lift
Well explaining and best rc plane making vdo i watch ever
Really thanks! Great film& hobby
sympa tes vidéos j ai moi aussi une chaine de construction d avion en Depron que je viens de lancer j adore aéromodélisme
Nice! Well done filming and editing:)
wow has this open my eyes thanks a new world for me love it thanks john
Glad you enjoyed it
parabéns..... o próximo projeto com certeza sairá melhor ainda!!! abraço
Is there any diagrams I can download as a template to cut out my sheets
Hey hi
I am a huge fan of your video
I have some doubts
Why does my lipo battery (lemon 2200mah,11.1volt,3s,30c) spark continuously while i try to connect to my esc (30a (deans connecter))
Maybe is it because of friction
I am actually making a plane
And I am using the battery mentioned above and the 30a esc and 2 servos and a 2200kv brushless motor
And do u have any idea of the total flight time
thanks!
Do we have a parts list with prices ? How much for RC Controller ? How much for Battery ? How much for Motor + Propellor ? How much for Servo's ?
Can you help with Radio Control Programming?
Best video I watch ever...
What is it's waight
cool... very inspiring. im building mine soon...
The plane has been beautiful,
You have to pay that bastard's rent.
Hey can you please share your findings for crash , initially when you took for fly..what all changes you made ??
0:45 let me just put this back...
can i use your part measurement without ailerons (3 channel), ?
This is the 2nd video like this I've seen & both show ways of handling materials that
will make this project easier. I can figure out how large to make the wingspan and
the overall length of the plane w/ common sense but I'm more concerned with not
knowing anything about the controller or electronics needed? Like the radio used
I'd want to buy a better one I could grow into since I'm sure this is an addictive
hobby? Lol, I'm sure it's addictive because I already feel it just watching you
make this one. Is there a kit to give us all we need or do you have the list?
any help would be great... peace
I will make a more descriptive video or series of videos explaining all.
@@Joyplanes ~ I'm like, "Stoked" over all of this! I've learned how to
engineer a main body that's hollow yet super strong. Also how to bury
the servo's within the structure of the plane. And how to paint it too.
All in a few days. I'll watch your stuff when you're ready.....
You must be relatively new to building. The plane was unnecessarily hacked to pieces and thrown together. A little attention would have had it flying nicely. It may sound harsh, but let's be honest?
Very good video.
Thanks for downold air plant
Impressive video brother ⚡️👌👌
This is amazing video
stunning by your videos.impressed also subscribed.cheers from india.
Is there two sets of wings or one wing which means wingspan is 150cm or 75cm pls tellllll 😭
sir,
your video is really amazing and I want to ask that from where do you got the remote controller , servos ,and the transmitter and receiver also how did that fan and what is the range of your radio controller??
did you made the fan or you purchased??
pls pls sir don't forget to answer my questions coz I am also making that plane and I want to show it to my frnds , teachers and off course in my school.
pls pls sir answer my questions.
again I want to tell you that your video and your plane is really amazing.....
Best channel
kann i use any esc i want or do i need a certain one
Thank you 👍👍👏👏🙏🙏
gold working i l'île allo mor the réalisation of the video
This ought to inspire those on limited budgets to know they can do this for a
fraction of the cost? I'm building a wing but my problem is which Transmitter
is best? As in a User Friendly, easy to program radio? any ideas?
peace
I think all radios have tricks on their interface, but I would recommend any open TX based radio like the Frsky, the new jumper T16, etc. Futaba has also a good user interface, but they are a lot pricier.
Plans not available a 404 error is there can you share the PDF in the description
What kind of adjustments you make when test flight fails?
super tutorial
Well done!
Thanks!
I need help i never built rc airplanes nor anything about it i will not blink someone with wings i have no idea how to get it
Great video, I would like to build one. Can you please put up the code?
There is just a problem of buying brusshless motor that price is too high and battery also
nice
is that a themacol
Please make rc plane on 1000 kv bldc with 2200 mah battery for beigneer

Great video , Can I use brushless motor 1000kv ?? and plz could u tell me what the measurements of this plane ? Thanks
There is plans in the description, the measurements are in millimeters. And yes you can use a 1000KV motor but is better a smaller motor fitting a 4 or 5" propeller. The motor should be about 2300KV a 1000KV is made for bigger propellers and it's hevier
so cool
from where you get electronic part and controller
How long did this take to build?
which airfoil is best for gliders and long distance flights
I don't have the right answer for that but try looking at the airfoils used on other gliders, there are literally hundreds of airfoils that you can use for that purpose.
Good video
Keep the good work
Thank you!
Wouldn't a foam board plane be better yet being about the same price also foam board is stronger
Whats the total weight and thrust?
Awesome
Hey, are you from Vzla?
appreciate it bro
well....i am building my first rc air plane thanks to you.:)
hope it works
i will replay this comment if it works XD.
hey, i got a question... what glue did you use to stick the motor the fuselage?
btw i am allmost done at building :)
Great music.
Yes, is not my creation, I put the credits there.
Joyplanes why does my profile picture look so mutch like yours? :P
True! hahaha that's crazy.
can you tell me the glider montage thing at the end plz?
Finley Gaming
can you get me a clark y airfoil for the which is 9 inch long?i am not finding a way to get a calrk y airfoil with that length.please help me:(.
anyway great video !it really helped me.just wanted to say the plane is not made up of styrofoam. styrofoam is actually the thing from which disposable plates are made.
In this website you can generate Airfoils of the length you need on a PDF airfoiltools.com/
great
Super i succeded to make that😊😙
This is awesome, thanks for the video, you make it look very approachable.
a couple questions
does it matter what foam I get?
and what was that special tape for airplanes you mentioned?
do you have links for the stuff you suggest? thanks!
Hi, you can use almost any kind of foam, the tape is just packing tape but with colours, but you can use any plastic tape. Search hobbyking for it.
@@Joyplanes thanks a bunch!
Los de joyplanes 1estan en todas partes😸😸😸✈️🛫🛬🛩
Will you tell where did you buy transmitter and reciever
I did buy them at hobbyking.
Nice Video and work..!
What video software you are using and what camera ?
Thanks, I'm a filmaker and I do that for a living, I use a canon DSLR but any similar camera will do the same, and I use premiere pro for editing and other adobe software.
I see, thanks for your information..! Happy Flying..!
Hey, would you mind explaining how you did the electronics for the aileron, im talking about the "channels" thingy for the remote control as there are two servos and they both have to work together at the same time but in opposite direction
Look at the videos the channel flitetest have, they explain everything about that.
@@Joyplanes thanks :)
A good vid!!! 💪👊
doesnt the styrofoam snap ???
Can i use a turnigy 1400kv motors ? Is there any speciality for the motor that you use in the video than from using a motor for quadcopter?
You can use it, the motor I was using was small, light but not powerful, that motor you want to use might be a bit heavier but make the wings a bit larger and that should be all right.
Hi! well, you can contact me on facebook as joyplanes rc, (it's in Spanish because of my main youtube channel) but I'll try and answer your questions.
Hi I really want to to get into the hobby but the radio cost 250$ can I use any radio I want I know the radio is very good and you can use it for any plane you want but i really need a cheap radio I can use only for the project
You can buy this one instead goo.gl/CJPrBG
nice video bro tnx XD
Thank you!
will you please tell us,which motor you have used??
Hi, I used a very week motor I recommend using a 2205 motor, I updated the description in the section "Components from banggood" you'll find the best components.
So about $316 aud? (with transmitter being $250)
You can get a FlySky transmitter which is a lot cheaper but good for other projects.
wow goot
very very nice!!
what radio did you use for this project? i was trying to see in the video, but didn´t find it
Thanks. I used a taranis X9d plus from frsky but a flysky also works and is cheaper.
plz tell me about transmitter and receiver
Joyplanes thank u so much sir
helo bro im from U.S academy from nepal. i like your project rc plane also i subscribe your videoe . i like also made like yours plane.... but the problem is i dont know which control you have been used.. can you help me.... by giving the name of devices like ESC,battery......im thankful if you help me.. thank you
Hi man, all is listed in the description of the video, thank you for the comment.
hey, i got a question... what glue did you use to stick the motor the fuselage?
Epoxy, always the best option for more strength
thanks :)
Thank you. very helpful !
You could have used sand paper to smoothen the body of the plane, and also lose weight
