Its unbelievable how these new houses are presented, mostly timber framed too , thats only got a 20 year guarantee, people will trapped with substandard houses and massive 30 year mortgages

I would be upset at that whatever house it was, an Executive property or a cheap terrace.
They have put a air admittance valve on that soil stack but still looks awful rising below a window, best practice is to open vent
