I've only been trying to learn how to make things like this for a few days and even I knew this arch was bad. This was more of a product pitch than anything else. I could see this method working for a cheep kids birthday party, casual BBQ or something like that, but this thing looks like it was thrown together with no rhyme or reason. I haven't made an arch of my own yet, but I'd be ashamed if it looked anything like the one in the video.

How do you add the balloons to ribbon and to the arch????
Hi Latricia! Be sure to tie the ribbon onto a weighted object and then tie the other end to the decorative strip. Then, after forming the balloon clusters, make sure you take one of the ends of the balloons in the cluster, and pass it through one of the holes in the decorative strip. Hope this helps!
I cant work with balloons, every time I blow them up they pop. And if they dont pop then, they pop when I tie them

See they failed to tell you the size of the balloons they were using. They also did not say all balloons have to be blown up to the same size.

Yea this tutorial is not something you want to follow. You don't need those strips there a waste of time and money and I agree with the two comments below Qualatex balloons are the best balloons you can use. Look up a video from a professional as well because when you are making a balloon column you want to use four balloons when you make an arch you use three, (you can use four for an arch but three looks better) also you want the balloons to make a spiral with one solid color.

As a professional decorator and balloon artist, this is an insult! Party City should have hired a pro especially to "teach" how to do helium arches!

smokey bowers are you sure? The one by my house stopped doing that but another one 15 minutes from me was still doing it last year.
some people just don't give a number 2 about the balloons they use, and don't care about making a decent looking arch. they just use the old "a balloon is a balloon" philosophy. I also NEVER buy balloons from there unless they're Mylar. I only bring my own from home. The balloons there look good sometimes but not always, depending on how much they're inflated. And I've never made an arch before but I know how they make it look good.
