Regarding frozen bolts/screws: I've had great success with heating BOTH the bolt & its receiving threads, then spray the whole thing with penetrating oil spray. The spray cools it quickly, which shrinks the parts, sucking the penetrating oil in deeper between them as they shrink away from each other. I've never encountered a bolt or screw that didn't come out with that process.
Sometimes it requires several repeats, but it definitely will come out. 👍👍

If that’s going to be Sarah’s tool wall, I’d love to see her reach the moulding planes haha

She should make a Dutch Chest! I’m planning to embark on one based on the Chris Schwartz article pretty soon.

If a low angle is better for end grain why is a higher angle better for figured wood?is figured wood not similar to end grain ie the grain direction is changing. Thanks love your channel.

With end grain you are slicing through the fibers. With difficult grain it is planning against the grain when it rises up towards the iron. With low angle it splits the wood in front of the blade causing tear out. With a high angle it compresses the wood in front of the blade allowing it to shear. It's kind of hard to explain over text.

It is annoying what RUclips does to them. there is a reason I went premium. and more money goes to the maker then to youtube.
