Finally my Pokémon cards can have a purpose
I been saving my Pokémon cards when I was in Elementary School(I’m in high school now) and I’m saving them, since all of them came from special memories. I don’t wish to trade them/sell them off, since I don’t see the point of that. But everyone has their opinion.
So right. I sold all of mines for cheap on eBay. I don’t think anyone would spend 300,000 on a Pokémon card or even 600,000. Might as well just buy a house or a car with that kind of money.
@@brycefujimoto8023 people will buy them if you have a rare card
My parents sold them all in a garage sale
Since my first introduction to Pokémon 15 years ago, I’ve never known Pokémon was short for Pocket Monsters 🤯🤯🤯
Bruh they acting like Leonhart quite being a lawyer a month ago lol. He's been doing this for years!
IT'S THE ASIANS

my older brother had a whole binder of rare cards including a few Charizards but my mom threw them away because she spent a lot of money on them
My son has his sister's binder from when they first came out in an original Pokémon binder :)
Be careful with those cards👍 if their original ones from 95 also knows as “base set” they can be worth a lot of money and people may try to say their worth nothing. If they have that “first edition” stamp some of them could be worth a small fortune
We did some research and he is sitting on a small fortune... thank God his sister was so sweet to him when she grew out of it! 🤣
We have so many Pokémon cards from the 90s my hubby kept so so soooooo many, my sons love playing with them.
My friends and I used to have Pokémon card battles at lunch all the time and we would organize our own tournaments. It was so much fun.
1:00 "I never thought in a million years, I would sell as much pokemon as I do"
Ok, not to hurt Pokemon fans feelings or anything but seriously, this is getting ridiculous. $300,000 for a thin piece of what, paper?!
its cardboard
😂🤣😅
@@j2xx_j2xx cardboard? Isn’t cardboard more thick and airy or something?
My brother *he's an adult* came home just to pick up all his old Pokemon cards to attempt to sell them
I thought people collect the cards just to play the game..I preferred Yu-gi-oh since it's way more fun..
I personally find Pokemon better
As collectibles and as a game
I don't like waiting for 10 minutes just for my opponent to explain what monster reborn does
Yugioh is dead
@@astrangerontheinternet2100 I personally find the Poke'mon card game is so boring except the video games..Magic is a bit better..
@@anonymoushuman8443 lmaooo nah bruh
I bought my complete base set last summer before the prices exploded.
I like how clueless this inside edition reporter is about everything.
Excuse me but please fact check stuff before publishing it. Pokémon didn't start as a game, the games weren't that known prior to the "pokèmania". Cards (TGC) were more likely to be your starting points. Pokémon has also something like 20+ movies, the first one being Mew Vs Mewtwo (that was considered for ADULTS and was vastly censored in the west). The animated series is also one of the longest EVER, topping over 1000 episodes. And ALL of this is "only" a big AD to sell merchandise. Pokémon is the largest brand in the world.
Clearly this person doesn’t understand the hype!😭😔

My dad said he had that charizard. He said he had to get in rid of it when he moved out due to limited space.
Ive been playing the card game since 2014 and ive never had trouble buying cards since i go to a card shop. But it has been harder to buy since they have to raise the prices
0:53 that is why I collect MTG cards
