Not one of the top listed, but mentioned in it. I currently own a Japanese Gold Star Shiny Latias card I purchased... I believe around 10 years ago. I collect Latias Latios cards, and unfortunately I'm missing the Latios version of it. I just recently purchased the Latias/Latios Tag Team Card with alternative art ( where they form a heart ) as well. Shown briefly in the beginning.
I need to see where I stashed my original cards from back when the game came out and see if anything of value can be gotten out of them. Probably nothing as I didn't have a job then, so I only had several packs from it.
A guy posted on Reddit that he has a rare Charizard. He volunteered at a kids day camp and he mentioned the card to the kids. They asked to just see it so he brought it in. One of the kid’s mother contacted him and tried to buy it for $200 (she found a much less rare printing of the same character) and got mad when he said no and that it was actually worth like 4 or 5 grand. She tried to threaten him with getting him fired and saying it was weird that a man would want to be around kids when her empty threats failed.
You lost me at "a guy posted on reddit". You do know 99% of those posts are fake lmaom

My rarest card is a black star promo Eevee. It's only worth ~$10 USD. Holds a spot in my heart though, since it was a promo card I got from a friend a long, long, LONG time ago at a Toys R' Us tournament that her mother helped run. I also have a first edition Japanese Misty's Tears, though that's probably worthless too. I regret selling my 1st Edition Charizards from the very first set. I had like five of them as a kid. Wish I could go back in time and steal them from myself the moment I opened those boosters. I had that Kangaskhan card too; bought it from some shop stall in a defunct mall decades ago. I just thought it was cool looking, and it only cost like $5 to buy it. That guy selling the cards had all sorts of Japanese cards in those plastic card holders, including the silly cards like Imakuni?'s Doduo.
If only I had the foresight as a kid back then to keep all these cards for just a little bit longer... If only misprinted Yugioh cards were this valuable. I have a Red-Eyes Black Dragon card with the foil bits offset by a few millimeters to the top left, and one of those guardian sphinx cards from the first movie where the top of the card itself was crushed by the sealing process when they made the packs that held the cards. Oh well.
I never knew how the card game was played, I just thought the cards looked cool as a child.

The way Pokemon fans embrace these franchises is nut tbh. Either way, I love Pokemon and it's doing well these years.
That gold star means the Pokemon is shiny. It's similar in the games, with a pink star being shown on the stats screen for any shiny.
Came to comments for this. It’s a shiny torchic
As one who’s been playing this TCG since the first set over 25 years ago, I can confirm some of the ridiculous prices these cards for!
Still love this card game…. 😅
First Edition Shadowless Base Set Charizard was sold for slightly over 500k
Pokemon cards are the best. We will always support this channel no matter what happens.
I have all the cards from the base, jungle, and fossil series, i should go through my binders and see what 1st editions i have. I know there is at least 1, 1st edition base set charizard in there. But it has the drop shadow. So i doubt its worth the misprint. I also have a mint condition Mew gold ☆ card. Love the blue so much, i got it tattooed on my leg. I have the black charizard with a gold ☆ too. Never thought it was worth that much..

My favorite card of all time!!!
MrBeast: Today we are going to collect all of 150 Pokemon cards of Kanto. Not just any version of the card. The most expensive version.
We need a Yugioh version now 🥹
There’s one
I myself pulled an alternative art Umbreon a couple of months ago with my first pack coming back after many years. It wasn't until my friend told me the price I was shocked! Anyhow, we recently sent it in to get graded
Wow, thank you for showing us these expensive, rarest Pokemon cards…
I own a rainbow Charizard GX, two Umbreon VMaxes, and a 1st edition Lugia (found the last one from a flea market).
I used to have a Japanese Neo Genesis Lugia when I was younger but traded it for a base set 2 Blastoise. Pretty sure the Lugia wasn’t 1st ed.
Japanese vintage cards didn’t do a 1st edition stamp.
Depending on condition, those two cards (Japanese Neo Lugia and English Base 2 Blastoise) can be of similar value today.
I have dragon type Pokemon legendary fire type Pokemon deck
The Pokemon Trading Card Game has always been one of my favorite things coming out from the franchise.
Such a amazing artwork and design.
There's so much fun to collect.
And I already got tons of Pokemon cards in my collection.
Especially Pokemon V & EX Cards,
Those are my favorite ones to collect.
Hollowfoil Charizard 1st Edition...I've seen this card Sell from 250K to 500K.
Nothing worse than pack opening videos. Funny how all the rarest cards always end up in them 🤔 almost like it's planned for views and card sales ...
my rarest card is either my grade 4 secret rare absol from Team Magma vs Team Aqua, or my Forina's Absol.
the Pikachu Illustrator
The most expensive Pokémon card is the Pikachu Illustrator which sold for $5.275 million in July 2021. It's the true Holy Grail of Pokémon card collecting and only one PSA 10 is known to exist.
Rick Harrison lost out on millions not making a deal with that guy wanting to sell his charizard collection I bet he kicks himself in the ass every time he hears Pokémon and charizard
Imagine buying one of these cards years ago when they seemed cheap… and then watching this video!
Still a young hobby. Nows the time to buy
Oh a few hundred thousand people made 10,000-50,000% gains during Covid selling their Pokemon cards. There's not an asset short of Dogecoin that appreciated more in value over the past 3 years.
Gotta Pull Em All!
It's funny how does it works... if people wanted, all of these cards would be worthless people just assume this cards are worth that much, but at the end of the day is just a piece of cardboard.
They are valuable.
Hello, I bought a pokemon pack and through the hologram there are machine millimeter lines in the v and vstar cards could they be some rare cards?
That umbreon has been sitting in my coffee table drawer for months now.
Lucky man
Pokemon Cards are simply phenomenal!
WatchMojo finally, I've been waiting for this video
I got the Umbreon from a ES ETB, at first I didn’t know it was the chase card in the set. Later did I find out I was dead wrong 😅
Oooo congrats! I pulled the evo skies espeon, which happens to be my favorite of the eeveelutions. The alt art is by one of my favorite artists too named Sowsow
@@jcw370 very nice, I actually got the Espeon Alt art from a pack from the 2022 Holiday Calendar 😂. Idk how lucky you have to be to get that from the box. I’m gonna try to open 2023 Holiday box again this year 😅. You should try it too lol.
the only reason chansey is so expensive is because it is really hard to grade with psa so its really hard to get a psa10
Cost like 10 cents to make
I still have 3 base deck charizards, one Blastoise and 2 Venunsaur in screw down one touches.
I remember when I was collecting cards and watching the anime people would call you a loser or lame to be watching that now all of a sudden people are up on “collecting” the cards
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH! :D
Yay! Thank you!
Thanks so much for your support! It's truly appreciated:)

Damn i had 1st edition blastoise💔😭
XY-P 279 Battle Festa Pikachu Psa 10 😊
Yep I might have one of those. I have a blastoise and chancery I’m pretty sure. Not sure if their first edition. I have two different charizards. I’ve had my cards since 90s. All I have actually of my childhood.
The thing is that I have almost of the sets that they mention.
My most expansive pokemon card is that i own is my uMbreon v max alt art. I bought it from the build and battle box i bought like 3 boxes and that's how i got that umbreon v max alt art.
I'll never forget the mint condition Lugia I had that was stolen when I brought it to school.😭😭😭
I am so jealous of people who literally owned some Charizard 1st Edition cards.
😂
aww man.. i don't have any of these gold mines..
closest thing I got is a, NON 1st ed. of classic Charzard seen at #6
Pikachu the Yellow
Charizard the Red
Blastoise the Blue
Venusaur the Green
Choose your team ?
To Mr. Dave Bautista, thank you for the epic Mortal Kombat commercial. You are a legend.
I have a 1999 first edition golden charizard is also that rare or expensive?
U guys should do one of mtg cards
Too many cards
To think me and all my buddies had all those first Gen decks in elementary school. Had we known about finances and markets, we were holding gold of the future. Anime and Manga 4 life
What movie is that Gary vs Lance scene from?
mine is the rayquaza vmax alternate artwork from evolving skies
Oh so we talking Trophies now?
I HAD THE DELTA CHARIZARD GOLD STAR 🌟
Not a bad video wish there was more info on why they are so expensive like the chansey is due to how hard it is to grade in a 10 making it expensive even for shadowless as well! Nice to see more Pokémon content though!!
I collect Pokémon cards, I see this on my recommendations, I clicked without hesitation
wow, good info thx 👍!
I don't remember who..but one of my friends had the regular charzard..being only 10years old I remember we didn't take care of any cards and most likely lost it
I've got a PSA 10 Arcenine EX from Legend Maker. It's worth 1.2k
I been collecting the 1999 Pokemon cards
I used to have a 1st edition blastoise. I lost all my cards when I moved out of my parents house and have no idea what happened to them.
Love this series!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love your spam bot
I have the shining Gyarados and 1st edition Lugia
ooooh I have 2 Shining Tyranitar but sadly not mint condition
The pain I was sitting on at least 800k🥺🥺
My man pulling the umbreon at the beginning of the video sounds like Tom screaming 🤣🤣🤣
I have a few holo chansey cards....nice
I bought my son Pokémon cards and sets in the 90s including paying $90 for some of them on eBay at its height and feeling like an idiot.
He really wasn’t into them so they are just in a shoebox untouched.
The charizard? I have few of those and some gold rim cards? The black character we have a few of those.
Interesting. Have to go through them all.
Always been a magic the gathering guy. I played the original pokemon games though
I had a master collection for the 1st ten sets of pokemon back in the day and I still would have had it if it wasn’t for my uncle who was a crack addict at the time found it and sold it
I have a golden VMAX Salamence
I wanna be the very best
I have a rainbow Pikachu vmax and an alt art machamp from astral 😂😋
The smell of a pack of Pokémon cards was the best
1st Edition base set is already shadowless and it's redundant to say "shadowless" 1st edition base set because it is already implied
Pretty sure that gold star rayquaza is worth a lot more then the crystal cards except charizard.
I have the 1st
You are not first if you are talking about it
I still have two binders full of the original run of Pokemon cards I just need to get them graded
The two mentioned cards I have are Chansey and Venasaur, however they aren’t first edition, at least not for the prices I paid. While I collect, I am not about the most rare/expensive, just a set of all Pokémon for me to enjoy.
This stuff was my childhood. I got a ton of the early set cards when I was a little kid and these cards weren't worth anything yet. But the problem is that I was too young to have the foresight for this. I still have a binder with the original 151 in it, but with 2 exceptions, none of them are 1st ed printings. And many are Base Set 2 or either Fossil or Jungle set. So like, old stuff still, but not the 'Money' stuff.
I'm just hoping that everything cycles with age. I have a more recent binder full of cards I simply like. I own every printing of Ninetales. (TCG versions that is) Im hoping that at some point these printings become old enough that they gain value.
Most people didn't have the 1st edition stuff, but any holos older than 2004 can be worth $2,000-$5,000 in flawless condition. The main issue really is that we as kids didn't take great care of them so they have scuffs, creases and edge wear. which can drop it from a 10 grade to a 4 grade really quickly, and then the value drops from $2000 to $150 lol.
I still have my 1st edition charazard. And if you want it, you have to dig up my grave.
the rarest one i have is a radiant charizard thats from pokemon go
My rarest card is a trainer card lol and ontop of that i cant even read or understand what it says cause its in Japanese. Its worth $288 damn near 300
I have the same old car of CHARIZARD shadowless 1999.
Gold star umbreon came out of POP packs
I play the card game, and I hope to complete the pokemon card dex.
I know yall didn't say that kangaskhan was a dad
It's crazy how expensive these cards are
Most of these prices are unconfirmed or straight up wrong. They ARE worth a lot but not the prices they're saying
I choose you
I had all those 1st edition Pokemon cards until my aunt threw them in the trash back in 2001 😭🤬
I have the first edition Charizard shadowless
Bro i have arecus vstar rainbow and tag team zekrom and pikachu
Havent watched it yet but i bet base set charizard is number 1
People really paying that much for colorful pieces of cardboard 🤣
just like how people pay millions for art pieces that are just paint dabbled onto a canvas haha
i had the chansey and traded it for a yellow version game
Geez, and I thought Yu-Gi-Oh cards were expensive enough!
University Magikarp (TAMAMUSHI UNIVERSITY PRIZE) in which booster box is it ? the name of the japanese booster box
Very Rare Pokémon cards worth a big huge amount of money
