Maiden are pure theater, a full on show. Seen them several times over the years and they're always deliver the goods.

The best part of an Iron Maiden show is the fact that you will see up to four generations of a family at a show. There is no other band in the world that has that kind of following and acceptance. I do concert sound for a living, so yes, I have seen a lot of shows.
I'm never surprised at how many youngsters get into Maiden any more - went to see them in Toronto last year and was amazed at how many teenagers were there.
Took my teenage daughter to see them in August 2019, she is now a Maiden fan for life. Up the irons.
Good parents bless their kids with a love for Maiden!
That Toronto show was my seventh maiden concert and I took my 14 year old daughter, she loved it

Singing along to the Fear of the Dark guitar harmonies is a highlight of every Maiden show...I’ve seen them 12 times and it NEVER gets old.

I was 16 in 1982 when I heard Maiden for the first time and still a massive fan today. great to see young people enjoying Maidens music today. Great reaction
I saw these guys in Western Australia in 2016. The stadium was packed. People of all ages, from grandparents to kids (I saw one kid who would have been about 5). People of all colours. When they played this song the whole crowd was chanting and singing along. It was amazing. Talking to people before and after the show, everyone was so friendly. I hope that you get to experience something like that.
The drummer is Nicko McBrain. He is 67. He truly enjoys every minute playing with the band. A true spirit of Life. Up the Irons!! \m/ \m/

This is one of the biggest metal bands in the world, and honestly one of my all time favourite bands, keep reacting!
I love seeing your great reaction to the MIGHTY Maiden. I've been a fan since my teens back in the early 80's. Seen them live about 7 or 8 times. They never fail to impress me even after 40 years. Glad you like their stuff guys. Go listen to the rest of their stuff, you'll be hooked for life. ROCK ON!

It was actually 250,000 people there in the audience. I was there, and I can tell, it was magic! You can feel the energy through the video.
They crazy thing there about everyone singing with the band is because they are here in brazil, where people speaks portuguese. This show was legendary.

To Claire and Walker: Nice to see you enjoying Iron Maiden as much as I did when I discovered them in the 80's. You have an excellent understanding of music and arrangement at a young age, and a good ear for what is happening in these songs. You show a lot of class by asking people to like and subscribe AFTER you've provided your reaction (most others do so in the beginning). In this video, you appreciated having 100 subscribers. That has grown to over 13,000 and you deserve them all. I would suggest you check out the earlier works of Rush - a perfect combination of lyrics, vocals, and music composition.
To Claire and Walker's parents: Wonderful job raising intelligent children, introducing them to older music, and allowing them to present themselves to the world in a fun way.
I've been listening to Maiden since 1983 and saw my first show in 8th grade in 1984. So happy that y'all can appreciate their music. They are still the best live band I've ever seen (up to 14 shows now). Even their more recent albums are really good, which is unusual for a band that 's been around as long as Iron Maiden has.
the band member you'll most often see singing along is Steve Harris the bass player, he wrote the lyrics to the vast majority of their songs

well, i was there bck in 2001.
it was HOT. Even after past midnight as it was summer. Last show of the day. After several shows. There were fire hoses to wet the crowd and cool down the heat. Thats why everybody is shirtless.
A couple hundred thousand people in the audience know every word, every note, like they know their own first name...

I was younger than the kid when I was introduced to maiden when Somewhere in time debuted in 86. Good to see the young ones discovering true music.
For a lot of people Iron Maiden is like a religious experience seeing them live. They're very loved and there's an army of people who say "Up the Irons", It's very cool.

When i discovered this band i was the same age of your little brother, of course at the 80's I received a cassette tape from England for a "new" band that nobody knew at that time ... So i gave this "new" band an opoprtunity and when listened at that tape. it was their first album. My reaction when at that time i heard all this new heavy sound and changes of rythmes was so so espectacular like a "Nirvana" and my skin turned like chicken with really strong emotions .. I knew that this will be the best band i will hear on my life and up to now it is, my friends. smiles, do the maths. So, seeing you discovering this band brings me those lovely memories... Best wishes brothers keep doing this ! . Sorry my english and waves from Buenos Aires, Argentina.- And please react to bands of my country. I think the best part of the audience singing along, other than the sheer number of people, is that English isn’t their first language. This was in BRAZIL. And they know almost all the words to all the songs from this concert. Maiden, educating the masses since Run to the Hills!
The absolute best version of this song. I was at this show in 2001. Only time I've seen them out of the US. Like your father, I am a lifelong fan of Iron Maiden. I have been to every US tour they've done. Most recently last year in September on Friday the 13th in Las Vegas then the very next night in Los Angeles. Have never missed a tour.

Haven't read all the comments so maybe someone has already told you about Eddie. His full name is "Eddie the Head". It was just a head mask like for Halloween they had set up on an amp when they played. Hence the name. Well, fans liked it and Eddie has become a staple for Iron Maiden fans everywhere. Good job guys. It's good to see your generation appreciating the legends that paved the way for so many other bands. Talent was a must back then. Now technology can make up for a lack of skill. And keep in mind these guys are pushing 60ish? at the time of this concert.
I was born a few months before this album came out. I literally grew up with it in the house.
Do you know that the singer, Mr. Bruce Dickinson, is also a licensed pilot? He once piloted a really big airliner for Iron Maiden tour.
He is also a Doctor of Literature, Doctor of Medieval History, classical composer, destroyer of cancer, children's author, qualified airline pilot and a bloody nice guy.
The "big" was a Boeing 747.. Don't get much bigger than that.. Except Airbus 380

The impact of music discovery when there is unlimited access to resources to bring it alive and be heard, the point is to find the music you like and enjoy it before your youth disappears. I was Walker's age the first time I saw Iron Maiden live in concert in the mid 80's- I saw them for the 6th time last year - they are still as amazing live as ever. What an incredible band and yeah - when the crowd chants along with their songs it is super cool. Bruce (the singer) is also a pilot and flies the band's plane on tour, amongst his other talents he was also a champion fencer and an author. Keep reacting to Maiden and your Night Wish reaction was cool too... my other favorite band is Rush - you guys should check them out too.

11:08 5,000 people in harmony... When I went to the Iron Maiden show in Chicago last summer I think Bruce said there were like 16,000 people there.
Great to see young ones discovering Maiden. Enough with the slow stuff, check out the Trooper to hear why this band is so distinct from the others of their era. That bass sound is the essence of the band (it's the bassist that writes most of the music and lyrics).

Hey Kiddos... Rime Of The Ancient Mariner by Iron Maiden is epic.
The crazy and interesting thing with Iron maiden, (think about it) is that when you listen a song... is like a tale... and you can imagine in your mind the song... walking trough the park... or in the corner of your room in the night thinking that there is something there ovserving you... creepy... the same happened with your reaction on rime of the ancient mariner.

There are two kinds of people in the world, those who get Iron Maiden and those who don't. How sad it must be to be in the latter group. But your videos are exposing some folks who don't get them simply because they've never heard them before into that first group of people. So... you're performing a public service IMHO. Great stuff. I think you guys would really enjoy watching the entire Flight 666 documentary. You'll be full-blown Maiden fans by the end of it, and have a greater appreciation for the band's international fan base. Seeing the young men crying after a show (I think in Colombia?) really brought the point home for me. Up The Irons!

Iron Maiden in my opinion is the greatest band ever!!!!! They are and have been my all time favorite band for over thirty five years. I have been to hundreds of concerts in the past thirty years and Iron Maiden are the greatest band I have ever seen live. The last time I saw them was last year on their Legacy Of The Beast Tour, and in my opinion they are still as amazing now as they were thirty years ago. If you two ever get the chance, go see them live the next time they come close to your town. They are insanely amazing.

If we're talking about repetition in Iron Maiden songs, then I've gotta mention The Evil that Man Do. Chorus is pretty much same line over and over but cant get tired of it. There's also Blood Brothers.
It warms my heart to see our youth being corrupted by Iron Maiden. I remember when I was about 11 and being completely captivated by all things Iron Maiden. I believe in a time before electronic media, guys like this would have been the greatest storytellers of all...

Fear of the Dark was published in 1992. It tells the story of a person with Nyctophobia. Nyctophobia is an extreme fear of night or darkness that can cause intense symptoms of anxiety and depression. A fear becomes a phobia when it's excessive, irrational or impacts your day-to-day life. Being afraid of the dark often starts in childhood and is viewed as a normal part of development.
And for the young man an up date, yes that's the same singer but the hair cut and I am going to tell you why. For many years he was fighting against a cancer, and he wins, but during his chemotherapy, he lost his hair.
English singer, songwriter, musician, airline pilot, entrepreneur, author, and broadcaster. He is known for his work as the lead singer of this heavy metal band and is renowned for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence, he was one of the Heavy Metal singers who had the privileged perform with Monserrat Caballer. Naturally as a Metal singer, he has opera training.
Most notably, he undertook a career as a commercial pilot for Astraeus Airlines, which led to a number of media-reported ventures such as captaining Iron Maiden's converted charter aeroplane, Boeing 747, Ed Force One, during their extensive world tours. I think this song talks a bit of his childhood, because when he was studying he was constantly being bulled by the other guys from the school. And by the evening when he had to cross the park to get home, he always felt someone was after him.
Actually Bruce got cancer in 2015, this video was in 2000. His short hair was his choice.

I went to see an all female Iron Maiden tribute band called The Iron Maidens and they packed the house. I went to see the real Iron Maiden ages months before that. I’ve seen this band many times
