This was 1 event I wanted to attend so bad in 2019 besides seeing 4014 which I'm glad I did see when it was in California my home state and is why I couldn't attend on how far I am from it. Also since I was busy since I'm in my senior year of high school and despite that I only have 2-3 weeks left before I graduate I'm a bit sad I won't be able to get to experience a high graduation. But I doubt anyone here cares unless they're graduating too but the point is I wish I got go attend this event since 611 is my favorite streamliner since my uncle saw her in 1986 and that it was also at my favorite tourist line since I never thought we'd see something this epic at Strasburg ever and that besides 611 was pulling their daily trains and throttle time I mainly wished to go since when I first learned about this tourist line as a little boy from a railway productions DVD where 89 & 475 did photo runs I just fell in love with the place since seeing steam hauling freight is rare to see and that Strasburg is one of the best tourist lines to see photo frieghts and was 1 reason I wanted to go when 611 visited but despite I missed it I'm hoping someday to visit Strasburg and ride behind 475 since she's my favorite locomotive on their roster and see 611 in operational. Even though she hasn't run much sicne 2018 due to Amtrak I'm still hoping someday I'll see her and ride behind her only time will tell. Same goes for when the quarantine is over and covid 19 is history btw sorry for the long comment I can't help myself sometimes
My sympathies regarding your being unable to have a proper graduation; my oldest nephew felt the same way about not being able to "graduate" from elementary school. As a native Pennsylvanian whose maternal grandmother lived out in Lancaster County, I've visited the Strasburg Railroad quite a few times, and I credit it (and a certain blue tank engine) with instilling a deep love for trains and railroads within me. Granted, I've only been to California once (about 8 years ago), and from what I recall, your home state is pretty rich in railroad history as well.
I’m sry about graduation and all but, I will say this it doesn’t matter if you didn’t see her all that matters is that you had the privilege to know her
5:19 This was the moment I was looking forward to since this visit was first announced. Two of the most famous excursion locomotives in the United States on parallel tracks. #90 looks beautiful as ever.

Why is there a box car behind the tender (before the passenger coaches)?
It was very common on branch lines to use a boxcar to carry baggage and mail instead of a traditional baggage car that is what they were replicating

Those were the days. When young boys would run to the crossing to watch the steam engines thunder past.

Petition for 611 to run an excursion on the reading and northern
If it would fit, I'd love to see it visit the Tennessee Valley Railroad, reunite with its old mainline companions 630 and 4501.
