@@rek1510I love when that happens. It happened to me with Imaginary Authors Bullsblood (before the formula changes) and Lubin Upperten. I didn't care for them at first but revisited my samples and loved them. I don't know what changes when that happens but something does.

Demi, I recently got Marfa and I find it a superb perfume it has dimension longevity addictiveness I love everything about the olfactory journey, from the slightly green but also sweet opening to the alluring florals in the mid and to delicious dry down 😅 ugh I’m in love!

Got a bottle of dolce melodia the other week. Its intoxicating. I love it. Its long lasting and smells unique to me. I get slightly powdered passion fruit with slight citrus and flowers. It's sweet but not too the point it gives you a headache or makes you nauseous. Lasts all day on my clothes. Thanks for the review ❤

Ooooo my favourite summer scent is definitely Xerjoff Cruz del Sur II. It's so outrageously expensive in Canada so it's still sitting in my wishlist buttttt my God it's addictive. I'm not even a tropical or fruity fragrance person. But all of your recommendations sound delicious! Hoping to get samples of some of these, especially Love Delight and Bora Bora! 🧡

YOU are the reason I bought Carioca Heart. Omg...that creamy mango and pineapple and lots of booze. 😊 it shines in warm weather. Very addictive. So thank you for the recommendation ❤ I own Wavechild, too. It's not juvenile, but it is soo flirty. The watermelon is NOT like a Jolly Rancher candy, which can be sickeningly sweet. This is a natural sweetness ..it's gorgeous together with the coconut. Yummy!
Finally someone is talking about Ex Nihilo’s Explicite online! It’s been my favorite from the brand for three years and I’ve only heard it talked about once- well now twice. Leave it to Demi to be the one to talk about it. Demi has never lead me astray with her recommendations.
Explicite is actually quite a chameleon on my skin. Sometimes the praline comes out more prominently, other times the florals dominate and sometimes it’s the nutmeg, pink pepper and vanilla that take center stage. It is a beautiful and sweet fragrance- definitely one of the sweetest perfumes in my collection and I love it for that too. It’s an uplifting, happy scent and also ultra feminine. Personally I couldn’t see a guy pulling it off.
I was using a fragrance swatch and sprayed Hundred silent ways by Nishane on one side (I already knew I didn’t love this perfume. I just can’t pull off deep woodsy scents and HSL pulls SUPER woodsy and earthy on me)
I forgot I had sprayed that swatch and a few min later I sprayed it with La Capitale, which I also don’t LOVE on its own for some reason.
But together?!? It is INCREDIBLE!! You’ve got the fruity light bright juicy notes with the vanilla and leather and woodsy notes. It’s a beautiful layering combo! I’d love so see you try it and let me know what you think 😊😊😊
Im happy to hear Ormonde Jayne get a little attention. I find it to be a lovely fragrance house. Ormonde Woman, Man, Montabacco are three of my favorite scents. There are other beauties and some i havent tried but I will.
There’s a heatwave here in Bombay, terribly hot and humid and my favourites in this weather are Fleur Narcotique, NR Forever Her, Lancome Idole and good old Cacherel Noa (I feel Noa is such an unsung hero, so clean, soft and beautiful).
Please do a beast mode freshies or a freshies video, I love the ones in the same scent profile as Panthea 😍😍😍
Explicite is a LOVE for me, I discovered it in a travel case with 5 Ex Nihilo perfumes and I fell head over heels for it.

I have "BoraBora" and it reminds me "Terracotta" from Guerlain a lot but in a luxurious way.
I wore my Gucci bloom Ambrosia de Fiori out in the heat yesterday (the red bottle) and it was beautiful! My husband kept saying “Mama smells yum” 🤤 😂
Also, Stricnina works well in the hot heat, and PDM Safanad actually works as well!

At this moment - amongst all my niche and designers - my favorite Spring/Summer fragrance is Calypso Clementine EDP from B&BW. I top it off with a few spritz of Tangerine Boy but I actually like the smell of Calypso Clementine much better. CC has great sillage and last for hours on my skin, especially when I use it with the body cream (or lotion) and the fine fragrance mist. I’ve used it almost seven days straight - and you all know that’s not common, especially with the collection we have.

I’m certainly not “it”or a “girl”, but I adore BoraBora and cannot wait for my full bottle to arrive! I thought Bianco Latte would be amazing based on notes, but on my body chemistry it smells like a cheap vanilla candle. I’m excited to try Holidays and Wavechild and I’m sure others that you have mentioned. I cannot wait to hear more of your favorite tropical scents! I like wearing tropical in the summer, but also in the depth of winter when I want to mentally escape. I’m a little surprised that you did not include Ormande Jayne Montabaco Flor, Rio or Cuba.

You’re not alone re Oriana. I tried it because all the Delinas are not for me and I thought Oriana might work. Hard no. Had to scrub it off after a couple of hours.
I am diggin coffee perfumes at the moment and would love to know about milky sweet coffee fragrances but not over sweet as I really hate the tiramisu style of coffee smell. I prefer a milky creamy coffee with a bit of vanilla.

My hot (dude? 😂) summer fragrance right now is “Sydney Rock Pool” by Arquiste. I’m absolutely obsessed. It’s got everything for a summer banger, sun baked skin, salty seawater, coconut, narcissus, ylang-ylang, solar notes and driftwood. If you like “Holidays” by Mancera, minus the vanilla gourmand notes, you will love “Sydney Rock Pool”. It’s gorgeously blended and wears beautifully in the heat.
I’ve also been seeing a lot of recommendations for “Wave Child” for fruity fresh summer perfumes (my favorite type); so I am gonna have to try it.
