Dolce and Gabbana devotion is the only newest fragrance I like. I love how they always do lemon so well I love all of their fragrances, they're always sickly sweet for most, but perfect for me lol.
To it smells like rotten orange and kid’s marshmallow… I thought it would smell a sweeter version of light blue … but I felt sick when I tried it on .
Devotion is such a random but very appreciated release from d&g. I am very much over the light blue flankers. I own a few and enjoy them, but this new release is so refreshing from this brand. I’m anticipating more versions of it (intense, edt, etc) and I honestly cannot wait. I think they discontinued le femme and this will be replacing it. If you love that fragrance (marshmallow orange blossom) then to grab a bottle before it becomes difficult to find.
I really love layering Italica with Gris Charnel! The cardamom and fig in GC cool and cut down the sweetness of Italica while still keeping the gourmandness of it in tact! Highly recommend!😊 It smells like sitting in a really historic and beautiful cafe, drinking tea with an almond biscotti on a crisp fall day.
Omggg I spontaneously did this layering combo earlier this week. I put on Gris Charnel and it wasn’t being cozy enough so I threw on Italica on the top and it was exactly what I needed! Love this combo
Also try Italica + Babycat/Eau The Audacity. The saffron and vanilla from it blend so nicely with it. It’s still gourmand, but spicy. It makes it so sensual 👌🏼
I have recently heard about BIANCO LATTE called the yummiest vanilla on this planet , best gurmound as well :)
I sprayed Devotion for fun at Sephora and I was BLOWN AWAY. I never trust my first pass so I bought a travel and it's going fast! Oriana smells like a frangranced laundry sheet - the type that you put in the washer, not the dryer. I like LDBS so much better. Akro Bake is so delicious and I see it as a spring and summer - something fresher than Lira and Unknown Pleasures. I enjoy Unknown Pleasures so much more than Lira. There is life before Bianco Latte, and after Bianco Latte for me.
Devotion is such a beautiful parfum and inside the box I found a little label where they wrote about the natural oils the used in it and the colour will change in time because of the natural oils. Very good quality and scent for a designer parfum. Unexpected!
Unfortunately it's vanishing from the skin after 20-40 minutes.
@@Watermelon_78you sure you are not nose blind to it? I get 6+ on it and when it's warm I found it really overwhelming about halfway through the day. On clothes I smell it into the next day.

Demi I think you would really like Escapde Groumande. Again it's not ground breaking but the execution is fantastic! Like everyone says it smells just like creme brulee but it's kinda light and airy so it's not cloying at all. You can wear this in Dubai. It's different from Bianco Latte and not as long lasting but it is lovely too. Bianco was a love at first sniff but Escapade grew on me when I did a full wear test. The dry down is completely intoxicating! 😍

I own both Minuit et Demi and Changing Constance and I love them both and use them both! I completely agree with you, Minuit et Demi is better, way more complex, more luxurious, more long lasting! Funny thing is in the beginning I did not think they smell similar, it was only after a good while that I started to smell the similarities. ❤

I really adore Rouge Smoking but I usually just wear it on my days off or before bed. It's a cozy, nostalgic scent to me. The times I have worn it during the day/in public, I haven't felt like it fits.

I just got a travel size spray of D&G Devotion for now. I tried it on my skin at Ulta and I let it sit for maybe 20ish minutes before I made up my mind and decided to get it. It does make me think of BBW Iced Lemon Pound Cake and I loooove that mist. It’s delicious and I can’t wait to layer them together!

Great video Demi 😄!! A lot of of good delicious gems here !! Escapade Gourmande smells like a sweet burnt sugar vanilla. It's nice and doesn't last that much for an Extrait...it's good for layering like Vanilla 28. I think you will enjoy it but it's not breathtaking and it's not a beast like Bianco Latte. For the record, I consider Minuit et Demi better than Changing Constance and Magenta Tanzanite. It is clearly superior. Minuit et Demi might not be viral on TikTok, but it’s sold out everywhere where I live in Mexico… so, I would say it’s the best seller of Fragrance du Bois in Mexico IMO. So way to go Demi, you did a great job 💯💖🤗
Angels share is so good. It’s sweet and boozy but there’s a fresh element to it that makes it very wearable.

Just went to Sephora and smelled the new Dolce and Gabanna devotion and I instantly hated it. I know there’s so much hype around this fragrance but to my nose, this was way too orange heavy. I felt like it smelled like a very strong orange creamsicle. I personally don’t want to smell like an orange creamsicle, but I have a feeling I would enjoy this if it were a candle scent😂
Same but I loved Burberry Goddess.
I get no orange and I have been getting compliments nonstop when I wear it. I can’t stand Lira because all I get is orange so weird how we all smell things differently.
I like the opening but the dry down is very basic and boring 😮

Same here . I really hated it . I thought it would smell like light blue but a bit more sweet … but this one give a a rotten orange and kids marshmallow sent .
LONG COMMENT: I have to tell you I am on a trip in Italy and I looked through about 5 niche perfume stores before I finally found NEFS and had allowed myself to get it if I would find it OMG I am SO happy - in Iceland I can use it so much this winter - along with Oud Orange Intense which I got this summer too, planning to use it everyday of December as it acutally reminds me of these chocolates that are popular around Xmas in Iceland- all from your recommendations --- AND lastly I got Rouge Smoking to use everyday for work now in the fall- best regards ❤
I tried NEFS in Istanbul's international airport..once upon entry and once upon taking off.. it was a complicated pretty snell indeed but projection was like 3/10 even when i over sprayed to see its powet..not worth the price atall
@@palakush7650 I guess for me it is meant to be, I sprayed ONCE in the store in the evening, took a walk around then went back to buy, I was getting whiffs of it the rest of the night and could still smell it on my arm in the morning - I guess it's different for each person but for me it's meant to be 💖

I absolutely love how Minuit et Demi smells but its performance in terms of projection and longevity is terrible on me.
I am wearing Minuit et Demi today. I’ve had it on for 7+ hours and it is still very noticeable on me. I didn’t even overspray, either. Maybe you are going nose blind to it?
@@Noelle1210 probably not. After 20-30min of spraying, it becomes a skin scent. I can smell it very faintly only when I bring my nose on the sprayed area. I have never smelled Changing Constance but other similar fragrances like Magenta Tanzanite or Starlight performs way better, at least on me.
That’s too bad. It’s such a great perfume. If it’s a new bottle, hopefully it will get stronger with time.
On me it lasts 24 hours and I can smell it for days in clothes. I only use 2-3 sprays more can be two much for me. I am shocked with these comments because it is one of my longer lasting scents.

I don't say "Shook" either, but I was totally Shooketh when I smelled Devotion. Lol D&G is not usually my bag. I only have one of their fragrances. And I'm not usually into sweet fragrances, but with the citrus... It's gorgeous!
Last week I had the chance to test Changing Constance unknowingly and at first I thought it’s smells like baccarat rouge, but after a few minutes it smells like minuite et demi , minuite et demi is more feminine sweet but have a little bit spicy kick to it , while changing constance is nice too but for me its flat . It’s so good for the feeling that I’m keeping my favorite collections for life and it really stopped me from craving new perfumes …. This perfume addiction hobby of mine slows down for a while but I’m not sure if I could resist adding a new one again after watching perfume reviews here 🥰🍀

My favorite gourmand is pdm althaïr. I don't care for real sweet gourmand but althaïr has that fresh in the opening and then that Bourbon vanilla kicks in oh my goodness it's so good try it out

Intense cafè is my signature scent. I live in North England and NEVER smelt it on anyone else. However in Dubai, it's everywhere! I agree fully, depends where you live.

That’s funny how scent is so different for people. I bought devotion and returned after a few days. It’s too much orange! Like an orange creamsicle but way too summery and sweet. Not a good fall release IMO.

I dont like many fragrances, like, really only 3 in my whole life. Most I either dont like or they become cloying or give me a headache. I bought a decant of Bianco Latte after seeing 1 you tube short. Bought a full bottle just days after trialing it. I've been an unscented everying woman for years. Now i wear Bianco Latte almost daily. IT IS AMAZING! Sweet and vamillic but not cloying or
headache inducing. Love it!❤

I literally just recently got into the niche side of fragrances and Bianco Latte was the first sample and Minuit was the second based off of Parfumism's recommendations and Minuit Et Demi was LOVE AT FIRST SNIF!!!!!! I was so sad when my sample was empty. It's my next purchase!!! I also just recently discovered your channel after hearing from CurlyScents that you created Minuit Et Demi, so....here I am and it's so amazing, however I have refrained...for now...sampling any other fragrances by Fragrance Du Bois because he's so expensive, but yours is 100% absolutely worth it. I picked up a hint of warm tobacco and it just pulls me in!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m convinced after this review. I was comparing this to a few others and now I’m sold.
I’d love to try Bake by Akron but I already have Sana by Blend Oud which already has that lemon cake vibe. Also I initially didn’t like Angels Share but I caved and got it when you mentioned it last time. I don’t wear it out, I work from home and this is my cozy let’s get this day started kind of scent in the cold days.
I really love Minute Et Demi , it’s very complex and addictive , luxury smelling . I have to spray it every week and have a travel size at work ❤❤❤please don’t ever discontinue this scent . Bake and Bianco Latte sounds interesting to me , thank you Demi for a great video , I love your pod cast and thank you for sharing with us, it’s very touching .Much love from Boston❤❤❤

I can't stop loving angel share, but this is so weird the burnt rubber smell when I first smell it for about 5 seconds then after pure bliss 💓
Weirdest thing about both Lira and Unknown Pleasures; the lemon smells screechy and burned to black almost to me, yet Bake I can wear with no problems (and Eau d'Hadrien). Bake reminds me of the offspring from Bianco Latte and Deep N Desire Yacht but swap grapefruit for lemon. x
I own Minuet et Demi, Changing Constance, Magenta Tanzanite and Raised Spirits. I love all of them, but yours is the best imo- all similar scent profiles that are “cousins.”

I wanted to love devotion sooo bad I got it blind buy I was soooooo exited to get it and when I got it and smelled it I was so disappointed 😓 it smells just like burned lemony caramel and also smells like thyme and some herbs that I don’t know what they are it’s just weird especially the opening is horrible and when it dries down you start to smell the vanilla but with the herby smell and it doesn’t last at all .☹️

Rouge Smoking was one of my top favorite fall/winter fragrances last year. In fact, Rouge Smoking was the reason I started my 7 deep BDK collection.
A seller sent me a sample of DUA’s version and it smells like a 10 year old bottle of RS shelved in a hot, bright room; gone bad.
Since then, every time I smell RS, I can’t help but smell DUA’s version 🤢
Gris Charnel, Velvet Tonka & Pas ce Soir is my favorites from the house. Pas Ce Soir Extrait - I never understood how a fragrance could smell like “bug spray” until then. It smells extremely similar to the original until the drydown - that’s when it turned rancid on my skin even though it smells great in clothing.

CC has a dominant soft tobacco note, with the caramel I get a sweet minty scent. MeD is spicier with a dominant caramel. MT is smokier, the deepest of the three. It also has this delicious caramel sweetness & spiciness. It's the longest lasting one, with the better sillage. CC does not last at all, neither on clothes nor skin. No real sillage, unless you overspray a lot. MeD definitely has a presence, medium longevity & projection.
So they all smell so similar?
You NEED Escapade Gourmande. It’s creamy and beautiful. A great alternative is Vanilla Brûlée by Malanotte. Sugary crime brûlée
Escapade Gourmande smells more luxurious to me than Bianco Latte. I do love them both. EG has a slight smokiness to it on my skin, like a burnt sugar vanilla. BL is musky vanilla ice cream that doesn’t get too lactonic (I barely get “lactonic actually)
Agree with escapade being soooo much better lol on my skin bianco late smells soooo off , I had to sell it as it was a blind buy … the opening was amazing but the dry down was terrible on me 🩷

Good video, I have all except the berry one. I love Akro Bake. Minuit et Demi is still on my tray it’s lovely. Devotion is nice but mixed with my lemon scents, wow! I don’t wear it alone. I’ve been layering lately sweets with Smokey too.
Which of these are your top 3? As for Jousset, you might one to try the OG “ A la Vanille”
I own escapade gourmonde. Its beautiful. Nighttime date sexy vanilla with burnt brown sugar. It’s bottled crème brûlée. I dont think the dna special but projection is great and it is an easy 8 hours on me with only a few sprays!!!

Exactly the same thing happened for me with kilian angel's share... my dad gifted this perfume to my mom and she sprayed it for the first and i didn't like it but after a few days she sprayed it again for a party and i like it

Definitely…..definitely layer Italica with Amouage Crimson Rocks. My favorite combo of all time! It turns Italica into a “mature” gourmand. Smells like a delicious spicy almond cake…The amount of compliments that I have received in fabulous! It almost smells “sexy” in a way 💛💜

Escapade is different from every vanilla I’ve tried. You can almost feel the texture of the brown sugar. Next in line from that imo is Bianco latte. Well they’re almost tied but different

I personally believe since you have Bianco Latte there’s no REAL need for Escapade Gourmand…I have both now & I can honestly say both Vanilla fragrances are NOT needed. BL’s price is better too than EG which I can appreciate since I want to purchase the matching BL lotion Lucky Scent sales…soo much for trying to SAVE $$🤑💵😲 I will say BOTH are better than Kayali - Vanilla 28 which I also have💯

Funny I thought having Vanilla 28 was enough Vanilla fragrances but Bianco Latte CONVERTED MEEEE🥰💓💯

I love EG but i think its very sweet. Its by far my sweetest vanilla (i am a big vanilla girl) maybe you should try it and do a video on the best vanillas!!! I'm trying to decide between Tihota Indult and Vaniglia...i don't know which one to choose. Maybe i need both 😬
