Just going to pin this because this comes up every single time. Yes you can make more doing other stuff. Viewers however much prefer raw gold farms-I get so many more views on average from raw gold farms than stuff which requires auction house selling it is ridiculous. I'm not going to say "do this not what you want because I think it is better" that would be really arrogant. I'm making content to help people not dictate to them.
For the record the most profitable basic method to make gold (ie no exploits) is just gathering, at least until raid participation dies down.
It's really extremely dependent on what content you like to do. Farming BoEs doesn't always sell, and some people like myself have absolutely HORRIBLE luck getting anything to drop (like even with coins, I can go for weeks of raid and world boss kills and get nothing but gold and AP).
A lot of people hate the WQ system in all its functions, and typically do the bare minimum. Some hate farming mats, some hate doing hyperspawn camps, some hate doing old world content.
All have valid methods of making gold. The really brilliant people find the most efficient ways that work best for them, and/or diversify what they do so they don't get bored or dependent on a particular method.

I have to somewhat agree with this. It's not that I don't appreciate the raw gold guides from this channel, they are very accurate and show cool stuff, but at the same time, I found that quite often going through WQs with gold rewards is on par with those methods and is obviously way more interesting.
WQ farming is also a raw gold farm btw, and that's what the original poster mentioned, so I'm not sure why the whole convo was derailed to be about AH, when the complaint was not at all about it.
@@Przymiot I don't think WQ's can be usefully compared with instance farming. There are a limited number of WQ's offering gold. By all means do them-but that won't take you long. In the same way legacy raids are more profitable than either but you can only do each once per toon. Also, I think when you break it down you find the gold rewards aren't quite as good as you might think when you look at gold earned per minute.

Tried farming this dungeon using the tricks described for myself. It does feel quite lucrative, 450 gold per run on average for a 3 minute run turns into steady 9000 gold per hour which is excellent for a legacy farm.
Now about the tricks. The second-instance client trick heavily depends on the load times. To correctly pull this off, you need to launch your second client so that by the time the login procedure starts, your active client needs to be fully loaded into the dungeon. So, your "tricked" waiting time will be the first few seconds of the role-play, than loading up the character list and selecting the active char, then reloading up the dungeon. Sometimes loading would glitch, preventing me from using any abilities for a good minute - some lags induced by the relogging and heavy lifting my old PC performs from my HDD. I'd say it saves me about 10 seconds of those 37. Maybe on a powerful setup this saves more significant times, but I'd probably drop this trick.
Also out of the two tricks mentioned in this video, this one is the one that Blizzard can actually track down and in general aren't happy with - since this way you actually cost them more money which they pay for maintaining the logging servers. One person doing this is nothing, of course, but still, there're times when these servers are overloaded and I imagine they aren't exactly happy about such practices (not saying a ban will follow, but something to keep in mind).
Now about the cancelling winds effect trick. This works flawlessly. For my Feral Druid I didn't find any way to cancel it, so I specced into Balance and used Force of Nature, which works very simple and every time. I still run the dungeon and deal damage in a cat form. For my main shadow priest I'll try using the pet, but I don't know if it'll work yet.

That's amazingly helpful mate, I only wished more people would see it since the traffic dies away on these videos after a few days. With specific regard to the log-in trick, I'm actually getting at least 30 seconds. Now I do have a good rig (thanks to my incredible patreons. I felt like I should invest the money in powerful hardware so I can find more exploits) but I am still scared of the ssd drive I bought to risk installing it so it isn't optimal by any means. So I assumed the savings would be comparable for most players-that was my logic process anyway.
you can travel form the wind part, you can travel form from the start until first boss too

I found this one about 2 years ago during Legion's Invasions. The Highmountain invasion offers a quest that allows the player to speak to a Darkbrul and obtain some idol that knocks up and deals heavy AoE damage to all NPCs, in addition the objective is to slay numerous targets. Fun fact: don't finish the specific ones, only farm the generic NPCs (hence don't complete the quest). Even with a non-self-sustaining DPS class, you can basically solo farm large groups equal to your level without dying. The cooldown on the idol is fairly short and allows for a proper mix of offense/defence. Easy exp farm. I never saw any other videos on it, but after posting this it'll probably be hot fixed. It also works the other way around: kill all with a carry, without talking/obtaining the item. This way you can't really solo though because you'll miss out on the idol but at least you won't accidentally finish the quest.

@Archavaldor im not sure if it still works but that wind area, still turn it off, but instead of running around the circle the whole way to the left, druids used to be able to displacer beast (or whatever their blink is called) through the wall on the right just after going up the stairs. It's one of the tricks that was used in challenge modes. They would blink through and then you jump on their travel form to skip the wall yourself.
yah i tried a few of those tricks-I'm guessing they got patched nearer the time couldn't seem to make them work.

Hunter barrage does not kill the mob at the top of the steps.
I have 2 questions, if no one minds:
-by "exploits", you mean killing the mobs to avoid the wind?
-was this done on normal, heroic, mythic?...
You can't run it on mythic. Heroic you can only do once per day. So basically all these dungeon farms should be done repeatedly on normal.
There is a good draenor transmog farm not farm from skyreach enterance to do in between lockouts, for transmog or if u just wanna vendor it. i forgot the name of the village but it is to the east of the dark forest area, sorry for being vague i forgot it lol figured id list this for those who seek the comments too

As for the end clip; Druids can loot a legendary book in there which makes it possible to fly in the BG.
It's extremely fun and you can drop some surprises on the enemy if you are clever.
oh yeah, there's one druid ability which can be used in travel form, think its a bug.

Seriously thank you dude, this serves me a lot as i play in latin american servers, where theres a lot of people because its only 3 server for all the spanish speakers contries in america so the economy is fucked up and the only way to make some decent gold is with raw gold.

Both druids in cat form and demon hunters can mostly ignore the need to kill the Whirling Dervish. It's faster to just Fel Rush/Dash through the wind wall. When I was BoE farming Skyreach I was averaging 3.5 minute runs on my druid with no optimized speed set.
As a Demon Hunter you can glide to the spike extending from the platform next to the last wind stairs (just past the annoying circle). It might take some practice to perform correctly for some people, but I find it to be generally worth the effort to skip the wind.
As always, a great guide broken down into steps we can understand.

@@archvaldorI was SOOOO excited to FINALLY clear this, I neglected to specify in my original comment, if anyone else has probs with that dang 'wall of wind' and not being able to navigate around as per others' directions - this vid, time point around 3:18, has the best/clearest directions I have found, which allowed me to get past that! For me I'm going to stick with the raid instance gold farms mostly because even though they aren't as much raw gold, pets like the raiding with leaches pets in the instances are one of the most valuable currencies in the game for simple free cross realm and cross faction gold transfering since they allow you to add it to your pet page, cage it on your alt's pet page, and then sell the pet on another faction and realm. Since I like using that gold to start up alts that i can't directly mail the gold, the pets i get from raid farming tend to be very valuable for me beyond just the gold i can get from directly selling them on the server i'm on. Especially if i take a pet from 1 realm where the price of the pet is low, sell it to a server where the price of the pet is high, and then to the same in the opposite direction. Beyond that though, i have already noticed that i am getting more gold and pet drops from older raids than when i first started farming them. I may be speculating here, but it's possible that the odds for pet drops increase the longer you farm instances on any single alt, making the chance of profit higher;

I did this dungeon 20 times with my lvl 110 BM human hunter in normal mode in August 2020. I`m on an Oceanic server on realm called Dreadmaul. The total gold (direct loot+sold gear to vendor) was never above 300 gold per run (circa 260 on average). I killed everything, looted everything and sold everything. Is 400 gold normal mode still achievable?
To hunters: When I use barrage to skip the wind effect it does not reach the mobs on the upper floor even if I do it the way Ctrlaltdelicious explains in his video. I cannot use other targeted ranged attacks as the target is either out of sight or out of range. The only thing that seems to be working is the pet kill/attack command. If I give my pet the kill command and then follow my pet upstairs through the wind, by the time the pet kills the targeted mob and the wind effect stops I`m almost through the wind effect. I have a speed boost from Trailblazer. Probably not worth the time I spend on targeting the mob an giving the kill command especially if I activate Aspect of the Cheetah before I start running up the stairs. Any better options by/for hunters?

I noticed a decent gold haul when I was running this dungeon to boost my own toons before the high level carries were nerfed. I ran this dungeon when I could since running slag mines was just mind numbing after a while and like slag mines there was an easy way out of the dungeon.
Yah I know what you mean about slag mines....had the same issues running it multiple times doing various stuff. Sad they nerfed dungeon boosting-inevitable I suppose but made for some fast leveling and happy times.
Managed to get a run down to 37 on my Druid heard u can do it to 30 mins. Think it just needs practice
Skyreach ist NOT the best Raw-Gold farming Dungeon. In Fact, it is Bloodmaul Slag Mines. It takes about 35 mins to clear the dungeon 10 times with a slow class and you get about 4.8 to 5.1k gold per 10 Runs.
I farmed every single Dungeon in the Game 10 times and am writing spreadsheets for the runs. Bloodmaul Slag Mines is by far the best one.
A slow class cannot run bloodmaul in 3.5 mins. My mage could not do it faster than 4 minutes. Mages have blink, death knights have nothing, so that would be 5 minutes +. In addition the cc in that dungeon is awful so you'd need some genius micro-management to kill and loot everything efficiently with zero risk of cc, which whilst probably technically possible is not something the vast majority of people are going to actually do.

People like me that completed Warlord Of Draenor Gold Challenge, we can teleport to Any dungeon in WoD in a 8 Hours CD (i weekly farm rukhmar with my Skyreach teleport) So this video makes us profit a lot

Since ditching my MacBook for a windows computer, I’ve been able to branch out for my entertainment to other games again. So I’m curious to know if you have any other games you enjoy, or if you know of anyone that makes similar content for other games.
Been a while since I searched but the last time I looked there were some excellent exploit channels for other games. But I get very little free time so I can't give you any current recommendations. I'd like to cover other games at some stage but right I'm very focused on wow and running the channel and my patreon is quite demanding.

I still have my 110 DH from freehold spams.. I use it to get Gloom dust when I'm running low on those..
And if I need a little gold I can farm 10-15k raw gold easy on that by vendoring everything from freehold.. it's still a good gold income when you just wanna spam stuff

@@BanaanNLD back before they did the 95% xp reduction from xp locked chars, DHs were king of freehold level boosting.. so having a DH in max Legion gear just to spam freehold for some extra mats every now and then..
These days I just do it on my main at same speed tho.. around 4 mins pr run for a clear of freehold trash with Harlan..
even tho DH's are prob still better if you go for vendor gold.. considering Harlan drops a sword that I can't get on my druid.

What farm do you recomend without bfa? (I can't do iron docks because legion player don't have trial characters )
I'm a legion player I can get around 450g per run in irondocks and take around 7m for full clear. (Doing on Paladin cause faster than other classes while mounted)

Is there a way to instantly reset the dungeon without having to logout? Because if i do the dungeon, exit it and then enter it again, i will spawn in the middle of the dungeon and there are no mobs. In order to make the mobs respawn i need to logout and enter the game again or i need to wait sometime, like 5-10 minutes.

Yeah it will take a bit longer the first few times but you'll find you can consistently bring it below 4 minutes with practice. That's true of most stuff I post to be honest.

But how do you run a dungeon more 10 times in a row? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I run say through Iron Docks in its entirety once on heroic, then go out, reset all dungeons, go back in - but everything is still dead, and I'm ported to a weird location in the dungeon (near the 3-mobs boss).
You run docks on normal-you'll find everything resets properly when you change the setting. It is still pretty good for raw gold (5K for 40-50 min) -in fact better than anything except skyreach using the tricks in this video.
@@archvaldor So it's being reset properly on normal, understood, thank you! Again I was so close to figuring it out on my own, but dismissed the option of normal resetting any different from heroic as too illogical.
Neat tricks in the Skyreach, should be interesting to try it out, and best part - no motes of harmony lol. On my dead server 1 hour worth of farming Pandaria raids motes/spirits are being sold in about a week.

Yes. Druids can use starfall. Moonkin is a very fast class for this run.

You will get even more gold if you are doing this with a Zandalari troll, it has a racial that gives u more % gold of the loot.

Yeah they fucked up the flight paths big time in draenor. Until 8.2 if you flew anywhere on a taxi you went straight through mountains and stuff.
I've had it happen in bfa, flying in the sound and my taxi getting stuck for a couple seconds in the patrolling ships.

Docks is great-best total raw gold before lockout in the game. Skyreach just edges it out in terms of gold per minute invested.

@@archvaldor Well, they fixed the 500 gold from the garrison quest in about a month or so. It seems like they removed the occassional Legion rep reward too which was selling for about 2000 gold at my server - at the time of WoD I leveled 5 chars to 100, and I noticed that after the 500 gold reward was turned into 50 apex crystals, the rep reward stopped popping up all together too.
AKA Madmaxx 500g per 4minutes isn’t powerful, no reason to nerf

Yes and no. The main advantage of retail is that has a lot of new content and stuff breaks when that happens. Also, classic is not nearly as buggy as people think - it is actually much better designed to be exploit proof than retail.

400g per run in 4 minutes? thats so low skinning coarse leather and bones to make LW fist weapons to sell to a vendor makes more every 4 minutes
@@friarruse1827 prices have gone up now, leather was selling at 1g a peice and bones for 2 gold a piece so it cost me 16g for 1 weapon, but it's not worth it now bones are 6g a piece now

Hmmm...didn't know warriors couldn't do it. If you look on ownedcore exploits there's a guy called alifeur who comes up with brilliant shit-he found an item which can be used from 70 yds away to aggro stuff. I think that would do it-I'd test it myself but the account my warrior is on is banned unfortunately.

That is always something I bear in mind as someone who struggled for a long time with a duff pc, but you have to bear in mind there aren't that many people who can run wow at all with a low-end pc these days or can stand it if they do. Soon the default Blizzard support requirements will be to use an ssd-which is actually faster than the hd pc I'm using in the video. I think that is a stupid policy frankly, but I have to reflect the reality of the situation.

I think any one would have a hard time saying it wasn't worth the gold given the amount of exclusive info on there currently. Though you have to be reasonably serious about the game to get the value from it.

I think 500g was slightly optimistic-I refer to that number as riryoku's estimate. My numbers and other people who have done this don't seem to get quite that much. As I said in the video I made about 430 gold per run.

U can farm 20 difference things that will sell faster than u can imagine. U post them on AH for stacks of 200 they will sell in an hour.
U can farm any volatile (water is very good and gives 60k and hour or so).
U can farm new raid boe’s
U can farm tmog (if u don’t care when it sells)
U can farm crafting.
U can farm herbs and mining nodes.
Only reason I can see some1 doing this “method” is if u need 6k cuz u have no gold at all and u need to buy your flying. No reason to waste your time if u have 10k+ gold on this.
6k gold an hour used to be good back in MoP, now u can make more by literally crafting 6 pots.
If u do this u’re just helping inflation to happened more quickly and u’re just wasting your time
Yeah there's a hundred things you can do more profitably-I've made videos about most of the things you mention. People like the instant gratification of raw gold more than anything, though.

Were people really confused what the term "raw gold" meant? Lol. It's cool seeing people find stuff like this, I'll have to try it out with my 111 twink now that he's completely useless. God forbid people decide how they want to level their alts. Wouldn't want people trying to sell services in trade that. Yes I'm still salty.
When I did my raid gold vid 3 weeks ago people kept saying "ITS NERFED - BOSS ONLY DROPS 25 GOLD" or "CLICKBAIT - BOSS ONLY DROPS 25 GOLD". They didn't understand I meant to vendor the weapons and armour also. So I'd thought I'd spell it out this time. Btw My commiserations about your alt-Blizzard are clamping down on any form of leveling very hard. They really want to push those leveling boosts.
