There's no perfect TV but I think it's fair to say Bravia 9 is truly remarkable progress for MiniLED. Sony sprinkled magic dust on the backlight masterdrive (increase in zones and 22 bit precision) and it is just wonderful!
All this to do a 50% brighter picture over OLED. And still small highlights unfortunately dimmer. 🤷♂️ much easier with self emissive pixels. Can’t believe they don’t offer 97”. They offer poor x90L but not their flagship.
Sony rests on their laurels as a company but when they decide to innovate they definitely come out swinging, I don't think anyone expected a TV that looks almost as good as a $30k mastering monitor and trades blows with OLED in dark room performance.
@@Mike-jm5wt they can do indeed but I’m afraid they will lose the game. TCL is smashing in mini led space and with bigger better models available will definitely overtake that space. Whereas Samsung and LG already get close in processing to Sony, close enough that usually big price disparity doesn’t justify the difference. There will be only die hard Sony fans. I can see Sony selling its business down the line.
@@whitecrowuk575 sony will sell TVs even if profit isn't good, think of how valuable it is to have that Sony logo in front of people day in and day out. Also if the Chinese brands get too good watch governments suddenly label them as CCP spyware like they did to Huawei
The Bravia 9 is literally going to shock the world. It's going to win the King of TV's shootout this year (beating out both OLED and QD-OLED TVs) and that's going to make people heads explode all over the world! Yeah, I just saw it for the first time today and it's THAT good. You won't even believe it when you see it.
I’m a LG CX owner and have been looking at the S90D as a replacement, I went to Best Buy to look at OLEDs, walked over to Sony to check out the A80L & A95L, and was blown away by the Bravia 9 that was next to the Sony OLEDs. I never thought I’d leave OLED. If you haven’t seen it in person, please do. It’s REALLY good. Now I’m researching Bravia 9.
Did you look at the Lg G4 ? That tv looked incredible when I went this week. I don’t know if the Bravia 9 was on display. I’ll be going back to compare the two.
That sounded like my experience. I was looking at a 8k and the best buy worker was real with me and told me I didn't need it. Showed me the bravia 9 and I was blown away. Did some lricing and found it at sony with my military discount and got the 85 inch for $4700
Best less than 17 minute video of all time! Your discussion covers the most important attributes of these very nice premium TVs. Thank you for being the great partner you are, and for your support to the video industry.
Hi Robert!, I’m coming from a 75” Sony Z9D that I couldn’t bring with me when I moved to another State (I left it in my parent’s house). Do you think the 85” Hisense U8N or the 85” TCL 2024 QM8 will be somehow in the same level as the Sony Z9D or should I just save up and wait to get the 85” Bravia 9 or the 85” LG G4 on Black Friday? I mainly stream movies and some shows, watch a few soccer games here and there and play 4k blu-ray movies 2 or 3 times a month in my living room. 90% of the time I watch TV is at night. Thanks in advance for your advice! 🙏🏽
I asked fomo I similar question a while back . Ashamed to admit I ignored his advice and bought a sony xr85x95j. Mainly use tv for football and movies, had to return tv ( dse & vignette) got 77inch lg c1 and never looked back. Even on this video you can see grey area on pan video ( Lucy army of d) the panel lottery is so much harder with large led tvs , and that's exactly what fomo originally told me.
Bravia 9 is crazy expensive in the UK., the 65 inches not available, while the 75 inches is considerably more expensive than in the US. As a result it is going to be out of reach for me and the majority of video enthusiasts. Sony’s marketing policy is alienating its own potential customers, congratulations Sony!
@@Buzza235 wait for a sale next year mate. I paid £3300 for my 77inch c1 , put it up for sale at £1250 - these bigger tvs are hard to shift both private and in store here in uk .

Have been a longtime fan of Sony myself, having had 3 landmark Sony TVs between 1989 & the Sony OLED we still have now, including a 35" Sony 198 lb. tabletop CRT MONSTER that the TV review magazines, in late 1997 & early 1998, were calling the best TV for squeezing the most picture quality out of the then NEW video format: DVD.
Coming from a 2017 Samsung 60" LCD, I only stream, sports and Blu-ray, NO GAMING and In the tropics with five 5' windows in living room. I also don't watch TV in the dark - minimum is with ambient light. My room size is 13' x 13 - no off angle issues expected. I will be buying the 85'' Sony Bravia 9. This choice is based on the wisdom I got from you, and Brian - consider ones "Use Case". Thanks a million FOMO. Big up yaself sametime!!
Hurts my feelings a bit to know that the Bravia 9 costs 1000 USD less in the States compared to where I live, but after this video I am convinced that it will be worth every single dime. I just pulled the plug on the 75 inch one. I don't think I have seen this much hype for a Sony TV ever.
I would never go back to LCD no matter how good the backlight is... The brightness is not everything. Nothing can beat the OLED until theres a better pixel level LED tech...imo
I have it already, it's great except be prepared for blooming. There absolutely is blooming and it's worse than the TV I just replaced, my 2018 Samsung Q8FN with only 40 dimming zones. Samsung at the time was prioritizing blooming control over everything so highlights were not spectacular however there was absolutely no blooming on this q8fn. Black level is insanely good and I prefer this kind of an algorithm. The Bravia 9 prioritizes blindingly bright highlights over blooming control and it really shows, I see quite a bit of blooming which is disappointing. That said it's not terrible.
@@TonyDAngelo-ot7ny I've owned WOLED - an A80K and C3 and I did not like either of them. I do not like how WOLED uses a white subpixel. I find it gives the image an inescapable blue push along with diluted looking color production. They also have terrible brightness stability. I like HDR and QLED provides a much more impressive HDR experience. I considered buying a Samsung QD-OLED, but they also have bad brightness stability and no OLED has impressive peak brightness despite the deceptive marketing in that regard.
Sony Bravia 9 &8 I bought both of them from value electronics. Thank you Robert for your advice. It worked out very well for me. Please buy from value electronics.

A calibrated 85" Z9K Owner from V.E. One thing that really sticks out to me is the cost ... the 85" B nearly half the cost of the Z9K. What size TV's were used in your review? Gotta say the old standby continues to hold true and that is what is the light environment where the TV is depends on what TV tech to go with. Both techs improve year by year that in real life viewing it comes down to one's personal preference. Those torture test comparisons are coming to the point of splitting hairs. Great Review. T.Y. 👍😊
Great video, all information in a compact 15 minutes video. Thanks! I went with the S95D, replacing my old KS9590 LED. Love it! Never had such a clean panel before -with zero banding!
Honestly, if you're rich, the Bravia 9 is the best of both worlds. It has everything i like about LCD with the strenghs of a OLED. AND its a Sony TV, so it also has the best color accuracy and processing on the market. Truly outstanding.
Only thing putting me off the sony is the grey shadowing on the edges of the screen with army of the dead and lucy. Other 2 tvs are clean , the lcd tv seems to have a grey patch when camera pans ? Why ?
In terms of colours, Sony's TV's usually knocks it out of the park. I bought a ZF9 master series TV back in 2019 and now I can only buy Sony TV's because no other TV is capable of matching the colours of a Sony TV (and they look the most true to life to me). I'm not a Sony fanboy, I don't even have a PS5. I had their first wireless earbuds with noise cancelling, but did not opt to get a new Sony one because they tend to have battery issues (I don't know what it is with Sony and trash batteries. All of their earbuds have battery durability issues and their wireless controllers also all have battery durability issues).
Read up on quantum dots but the short version is they convert led light into pure white which then gets filtered by the lcd layer to create all the colors, but because the white is so pure the resulting colors are far more vibrant compared to non QD light sources.
@@whitecrowuk575no TCL advocate has ever answered my question on longevity. I buy a TV to last 10 years, will a tcl be as good in 8 to 10 years of heavy usage? My Sony have always lasted 10 years at still a quality colour and picture.

I have a 77” LG M3 being delivered to my house tomorrow. I initially had purchased the Bravia 9 75” I’m second guessing my decision. Coming from a very old Panasonic Viera plasma which still has phenomenal blacks in dark movie scenes, I gravitated to the M3.
I have the 75" Bravia 9 and I absolutely love it! Best TV I've ever owned, and funny enough not the most expensive. I love it so much more than any OLED I've ever had, including the A95L!
I disagree when someone says that a particular TV is the "best" or the "king of TVs." There isn't a single best TV for everyone; it's all about your personal viewing environment and experience preferences. For example, when someone claims that the Sony Bravia 9 is the best TV of the year, that's based on their own experience. The Bravia 9 is a mini LED TV known for its high brightness, which is great for rooms with a lot of natural light. But if you're watching in a dark room, you don't need a high brightness TV. In such cases, a mini LED TV might not be the best choice. In a dark room, an OLED TV is often a better option. OLED TVs provide perfect black levels and infinite contrast, which makes the viewing experience much more immersive in low-light environments. The self-emissive pixels in OLEDs can turn off completely, resulting in true blacks and stunning picture quality that is unmatched in dark settings. So, when someone asks, "What is the best TV?" the answer really depends on your specific viewing conditions and preferences. There is no one-size-fits-all answer.

I got my B9 few weeks ago, but there is brighten spot on the screen that is about 8" wide shape like a jelly bean located on the center left side of the screen. Contacted Sony and for three days worth of correspondent they determine it is "working within specs". I can't stand it, cause I can see it in dark scenes. So I am returning it back to Sony (bought directly). I have the LG G4 on order now.
Does it almost look like a backlight issue? I know the wide viewing filter Sony uses causes that rainbow effect and on a black screen it looks like backlight bleed. It’s driving me crazy and I’m thinking of just buying a 77 inch g3 for 1200$ less
I'm impressed with the B9 when you increased your camera exposure on that star scene. It has near OLED black detail. IRL the lifted black on the QM8 wouldn't be that noticeable though.
What does it matter, the aim of the video is not for you to be a follower and buy what someone like but to look at the strength and weakness of each tech and decide whatrs best for you.

Last year, the 85-inch and 75-inch versions of the X95L model had different display panels, with the 85-inch version having a better panel. Therefore, if you bought the 65-inch or 75-inch X95L, you got a lower-quality panel compared to the 85-inch. How are things this year with the Bravia 9 (XR90)? Does the display quality vary depending on the display size? Are there any differences in sound or other features based on the display size?
I'd take infinite contrast over brightness any day of the week. These OLEDs came a long way. G4 with MLA is extremely bright TV. Still the Bravia 9 is very impressive for a mini led technology

Excellent stuff, it would be nice if you could compare the power consumption at sdr (same brightness ) (what people watch 90% of the time) of these tv. It would be a great reference for people who live in places with very high power prices.
Power usage is FAR lower on LCD TVs with Mini-LED back-lights than with similar size OLEDs! For example, about any model 65" LCD TV with Mini-LED back-lighting sold today, uses UNDER half the power at the same brightness level that any 65" OLED uses. OLEDs have NEVER been efficient in utilizing electrical power to produce a given level of brightness. A 2019 model Sony 77" A9G OLED we use in our basement theater room, has a maximum power use rating that's OVER 2 TIMES the maximum rated power usage of the 2014 Sharp 80" LCD TV (without Mini-LEDs) that I gave to a friend in Sept 2022, as we replaced the Sharp with Samsung's 85" QN90B LCD with Mini-LED back-lights.
@@mrb0775 wow, I knew oleds were inefficient, but I thought it would not be that different to LEDs due to transmission losses through LCD screen. I always wanted to upgrade to qdoled, but now I am thinking otherwise.

Hey, FOMO! Since the largest set our mantle area can support is 55", would you suggest going with the A95L over the Bravia 7? Side-lit living room, too.
Was at Best B. the other day and the sales person stopped the B9, A95L, and G4 at the same scene. IMO, yes B9 is brightest and amazing colors (as long as not off angle), but I ranked them in this order: A95L, G4, B9. A95L (last year's tech) had the best colors and blacks.
While I am quite happy to see manufacturers improving their LCD and OLED TVs year over year, I think we have long arrived at the point, where the quality of the content is holding things back for more than the quality of the Display. Pretty much the same thing as what we can see in terms of Audio. We have all these nice standards and formats, HDR, 4K60 or 4K120 with high clarity, brightness, contrast and everything, but frequently get HDR capped at less than 500nits or even SDR in an HDR container. Hollywood clings to 24p, thus destroying most of the advantages of 4K or even 1080p as soon as movement is involved or adds artificial "digital grain" etc. On the audio side, we are seeing Atmos mixes without actual object based audio, just static 7.1.2 or at most 7.1.4 and very little Surround Sound, let alone Heigt effects. In terms of Music, we get all kinds of high-resolution containers with the audio often having the potential of exceeding what humans can hear by several orders of magnitude but the actual recording being dynamically compressed, badly recorded, mushy and not even using the available bandwidth of something like a good old Audio CD. So yes, modern TVs, AVRs and Speakers are great, but the Content industry is way behind most of the time. Sorry for ranting...🧘♀️
I’ve been saying this for years. Buying $5,000 tvs is stupid when the content itself will almost never justify that. There’s a reason almost all modern tvs look great when you watch Demo footage and footage from HDR Demo channels on RUclips. Then you watch Netflix and other content a d it never matches that. Then you have a lot of directors you think the world looks dark and drab and no tv is going to make that content look better. Look at how Some scenes in Game of Thrones are shot, where it’s so dark you can’t see anything. A $5,000 fake “4,000 Nit” tv isn’t going to do much better than a $800 1,000 Nit TV.
Nice review! Please make the review of Bravia 9 85 inches, It is supposedly better than the 65 and 75 because it has a greater number of zones and more contrast, and will be much closer to oled contrast. Thanks!
Well, the Bravia 9 to me looks like the best TV on the market for video viewing.... mainly because the colours just seem to be the most accurate for most part. It's basically closest to the reference monitor in like 95% of the cases. I did read about some 'bad' things related to gaming. But that was mainly from 1 source and just a few guys. Supposedly the response time is like 17-18 ms even in gaming mode when playing at 60 fps... which is only slightly better than my 2018 Z9F and far worse than some of Sony's own TV's from recent years. Well, it isn't a dealbreaker since I don't play competitively anyhow, but it is something to keep in mind at least (ideally it's something they can improve with a software update perhaps if the issue is caused by lack of software optimisation for gaming).
I know it's a difficult thing to measure and comment on but one of the most important things for me is the quality control of the tv. How bad is the dse at 85 inch? For us folks in other countries who don't have access to Robert to do quality control we have to play the panel lottery and I just had a terrible experience getting a 85 inch screen replaced due to extreme dse, I hope to never have to deal with that again.
I have a dark theatre room. Is it better to go with the LG G4 83" or the Bravia 9 85". Is it worth sacraficing the 2" to go with the Oled? Price isnt a concern.
I literally had both of those TV's side-by-side in my dark, well designed room and kept the 83" G4. The OLED black details are more pure compared to the Bravia 9, where the LCD's more purplish blacks are apparent.

I’m thinking the Bravia9 is gonna blind you in the basement and you won’t even be able to appreciate the highlights but let the community know how it worked out
@@natemekis3959 You make a very good point. You really think a lot of the brightness would be wasted in a basement setting? Wouldn’t it still however have more hdr impact than an OLED? Or, are you saying since it would be in a basement setting without having to worry about sunlight that OLED would be plenty bright? I’d probably be blown away by the 77” Bravia 8. I don’t wanna spend $5K for the A95L. What would you get for a basement? I do love Sonys processing.
Thanks for asking. I certainly don’t want to tell you what to do or be a know-it-all, but I watch a LG B7 at night/pitch dark besides the tv of course. I keep the brightness down. That infinite contrast will be what gives the image a 3D “wet” pop. Nothing beats oled it the dark. Bright living room Bravia9 all day. If you love Sony processing which I hear it great, A80L 77 or 83. Bravia8 is not a big enough leap for the money. But if you got the cash LG G4 sounds like it has great improved processing and the brightness if you want that hdr pop. I’m waiting til G4 or S90D come into my money range. Cheers.
Still having it it’s worth to say that the QD OLED A 95 L is still a master series and still within its category a popular TV. Even though the newest and latest comparisons is part of your job as reviewer. Because people who bought it at release and saved up money might feel like ohhh so this means it’s replacing every other model
I mean I kno the oled is the best but the mini led’s is damn close and is brighter and has deep blacks and there’s no worries about burn in I’d rather have a tv that’s bright that I can adjust then a dark tv that can’t get bright enough 🤷🏽♂️
I have the A90J and I could upgrade to any display I want and I've been trying to justify upgrading but I can't find any logical reason to do so. I love the picture quality of the A90 and it is bright enough for me. The only fault with it is that white backgrounds are gray which is a distraction and we all are aware why that is.
As always, incredible content. Love it. I've read on forums about your Genelec surround setup but haven't seen this specific question answered. How does the system fair at your MLP at reference volume? Does it hit 105db peaks? Is it clean when being pushed that hard? I considered getting a system very similar to yours but was always held back because I just couldn't find the answer to this question. My MLP is about 9ft from my mains, 7ft from my surrounds, for comparison.
Thank you for going through the comparisons. Mini LED tech is getting closer to OLED though not surpassing it. Looking forward to the 98" size comparisons, btw, what ever happened to the Hisense U9N and UX releases?
Lg has good contrast in a dim lit room. Does that apply to mla as well? Just like qd oled tinted panel when light hits the panel. What about seeing numbers measuring Contrast off the panels in dimly lit room aswell? And also measuring contrast of colorful scenes without any black and how miniled measures and how it looks to human eyes. Oleds don't have high nits at full screen compared to leds. And I want to know if that full screen makes a difference in contrast and 3d pop. It should since glassless 3d tv are super bright to make the image pop and 3d. So miniled should be a better compromise between 3d tv and oleds. So in that case i should be buying miniled oreven just led, since most content I watch don't even have perfect blacks or much shadow detail. And with led I would be getting more contrast with brightness. And blooming doesn't even bother me compared to a dim and flat picture.
I promise this is the last time I spam this comment haha... Next livestream where you have the TVs all up, can we see the QM851 compared with the HX3110 with the following changes? Black Level at 48 and/or Gamma at 2.3. Like I posted in the live chat, I think that gets you closer to reference with a bit less clouding/blooming based on some feedback AVS users have posted and my own experience with previous QM850 firmware.
Side by sides mean absolutely nothing - especially the subjective and quite frankly wild way that FOMO chooses to illustrate differences in products. Take them all with a large pinch of salt as so many variables come in to play.
The most important thing to myself ( having bought and returned the terrible sony 85x95j) is DSE & vignetting. Please add this to the reviews, its really important if you watch sports.
@@heikoklose84 DSE = dirty screen effect, the clouding and blotchiness that plagues LCD TVs. I assume DTM = dynamic tone mapping. DTM Off - TV uses a static table to map the input brightness of a picture to the real output brightness it is capable of rather than the static meta data provided by the content. Static meta data mostly tells the screen the minimal and maximal peak brightness of the whole movie / TV show episode. DTM On - The TV tries to guess what output brightness would look the best on a per scene level based on both the input brightness, the static meta data as well as by analyzing the scene.
So are ADS Pro panels only available in 75" and larger? I know the Sony B9 85" is the only one to use it, while the HiSense uses it for its U8N 75". I wish manufacturers put more effort into 48" and 55" sets and we saw these newer generation panels used for these sizes. The B7 55" having such poor viewing angles is unacceptable. Sounds like I need to look at the A95L 55"
Sony does not use ads panels they’re all va panels. Ads panels have very poor uniformity. I sent back the u8n because of bad backlight bleed and clouding
PLEASE HELP! Bravia 9 85" or X90L 98".....This is really a tough one for me. The wow factor of the 98" will be amazing but it appears the Bravia 9 is the best TV ever produced.
It's to help owners understand how different settings stray from "accurate" because most people don't know what these esoteric labels actually do to image quality!
In terms of 2023 models, which is better the x90l or x93L? I know you awarded the x90l your best for most people. But would the mini led from Sony be better? Of course the xrclear processor comes into play too. Thanks
I'll answer, x93l at 85" otherwise if buying a smaller size TV save some money and get the 90l with xr clear. I love my x95k but it's only a bit better than my 900e which was regular led FALD like the 90l.
@@Mike-jm5wt from what I’ve read while the x95k and x93L are 99% similar, they did do something different with the algorithm for the 93. I would assume it’s marginally better than the x95k albeit even though it may be a small amount. The size in question is 65”
@@zackbutler950 initially the x93l and x95k had software differences but I've received multiple firmware updates that have given me all the same features that were previously exclusive to the x93l so I'm convinced at this point in time they are basically the same TV. With that said I also have the 65" which is an inferior panel to what they put in the 85", so I think the difference between a 65" x90l is small compared to a 65" x93l/x95k, mini led is mostly a power saving feature in these models it's the bravia 9 that has turned it into an actual high performance backlight system.
@@Jodez23 not that much better, zone count is still low so the leds being "mini" doesn't make the blacks blacker. The problem with the x95k and x93l is that the native contrast ratio on the panel is poor, around 2,000:1. My x900e had a 6,000 iirc native contrast ratio so these new panels Sony is buying suck, they need local dimming to fix the poor panel performance.

To everyone that thinks LCD can’t be as good as OLED, listen to this guy. The B9 is amazing. I’m glad more people are starting to realize it.

Very impressed, short and to the point, thanks FOMO. 1 question, why are we not seeing comparisons to the qn95d?
Honestly, if you're rich, the Bravia 9 is the best of both worlds. It has everything i like about LCD with the strenghs of a OLED. AND its a Sony TV, so it also has the best color accuracy and processing on the market. Truly outstanding.
Great video. What about Sony A95l?
Only thing putting me off the sony is the grey shadowing on the edges of the screen with army of the dead and lucy. Other 2 tvs are clean , the lcd tv seems to have a grey patch when camera pans ? Why ?
I'm still a touch skeptical, but I have to say I was impressed by the colors of the Bravia 9. It was clearly better in that youtube TV tennis match.
It was in vivid. Hence the colors were being pushed hard. But wasn’t shown TCL, which would match it or surpass it (it is brighter).

Nice video but I honestly wish you tested upscaling too.

Sony Bravia 9 - 75 vs LG Oled C4 - 77 . What is better to buy?
Hi . Thanks for the review. I have a simple question. Best tv for sports?
If you at showroom compare Sony OLED vs miniLED model. OLED black much on background

@JLT3ch I meant input lag. But it is a bit on the high side for a modern TV (still good though I guess).
Super curious how the Bravia 9 stacks up against the A95L tbh
Im really curious to see how the Bravia 9 compares to the Z9K, the Z series has been known to hit 4000 nits without clipping.
I agree that would be cool to see how the Bravia 9 can match up with Z9K in terms of raw luminance output
If you have dark theatre room. Go for OLED.
Hi Fomo!: I’m coming from a 75” Sony Z9D that I couldn’t bring it with me when I moved from TX back to CA (I left it in my parent’s house). Do you think the 85” Hisense U8N or the 85” TCL 2024 QM8 will be somehow in the same level as the Sony Z9D being that the Z9D is a 7 year old technology? or should I save up and wait to get the 77” Sony A95L, the 85” Bravia 9 or the 83” LG G4 on Black Friday? I mainly stream movies and shows on 1080p, watch a few soccer games here and there and play 4k blu-ray movies 2 or 3 times a month through my Panasonic DP-UB820. I don’t game at all. 90% of the time I watch TV is at night. Thanks in advance for your advice! 🙏🏽
What are the sizes of these tvs?
Are they all 65"?
I really prefer the Bravia 9 cause I just love Sonys processing.
Thanks for the comparison. One suggestion for future content is to label the screens as a reference. I was getting lost in what screens was what tv.
HI SIR, ADVICE ME BEWTEEN LG C4 OR BRAVIORS. consindering durability and picture quality. im a movies fun
75” Bravia 9 will be my basement tv! :)
Basement TV, might wanna OLED instead
@@natemekis3959 Was thinking that but the B9 gets to 95% of OLED blacks but gives you brightness and dynamic range impact that OLEDS just can’t match.
It’s business. Of course they’ll tell you the newer is better. New doesn’t always mean better.
I mean I kno the oled is the best but the mini led’s is damn close and is brighter and has deep blacks and there’s no worries about burn in I’d rather have a tv that’s bright that I can adjust then a dark tv that can’t get bright enough 🤷🏽♂️
I think the darkness was exaggerated.
@@cherylbrantley4736 the qd oled is beast and so is the a95l
15 hours of TV 📺 watching in 24 hours ,, Daily ,,, OLED or QLED G4 or BRAVIA 7,9 or TCL QM8 ?
People buying these top tv's, are u still buying extra smart box for apps like apple tv 4k box?
I still use my Apple TV 4K 3rd gen with my B9 75”. Works like a charm.
Thank you for going through the comparisons. Mini LED tech is getting closer to OLED though not surpassing it. Looking forward to the 98" size comparisons, btw, what ever happened to the Hisense U9N and UX releases?
Talkin 98" Bravia would be awesome with more than 85"
Not for me, i cant afford it😅
Lg has good contrast in a dim lit room.
What about DSE on the Sony? That's why I got a QD-Oled, perfect uniformity!
wat it DSE and DTM ?

@@EverydayElectronics23 The 85" Bravia 9 DOES use an ADS Pro panel.
PLEASE HELP! Bravia 9 85" or X90L 98".....This is really a tough one for me. The wow factor of the 98" will be amazing but it appears the Bravia 9 is the best TV ever produced.
Did you mean 98” X90L?
Why do you change the settings every scene after saying you're going to put them into their most accurate mode?
It's to help owners understand how different settings stray from "accurate" because most people don't know what these esoteric labels actually do to image quality!
How’s the tcl with sports? Thanks
Hi, i bought TCL 98C755 but it had very bad picture specially in streaming platforms, so is it because it's not OLED or QLED or what? Thanks
X93L a lot better black levels
@@Jodez23 not that much better, zone count is still low so the leds being "mini" doesn't make the blacks blacker. The problem with the x95k and x93l is that the native contrast ratio on the panel is poor, around 2,000:1. My x900e had a 6,000 iirc native contrast ratio so these new panels Sony is buying suck, they need local dimming to fix the poor panel performance.
