I always enjoy your videos because you aren’t a boujie gringo tourist acting scared of everything, everyone and everywhere. You go into the communities with the people of the land. I love it! 💯🙏🏼 I did the same in Puerto Rico and instead of staying in San Juan or Old San Juan I stayed in Luquillo in a small local community far away from city, tourists, hotels and resorts. I ate, shopped and drank in small local places and kiosks. Didn’t even walk around San Juan but did go around Old San Juan and even in the hood all by myself where phones, cameras and recording is not permitted!!! 😊 I’m half Puerto Rican and it felt great to be with my kids and the locals. Our tour guide from the UTV’s in the rainforest even took me out for drinks, played billiards and chilled with locals by the beach. I loved it!!!

This was such an awesome video. I got a VR headset to use the Wonder app and a while back I went down all of these streets. It was so cool to see it in motion. I have Lyme Disease so VR travel and you tube is how I travel. I’m so happy I found your channel. I go crazy staying in one place.
Oh, wait! There's options for VR to be able to do that kind of stuff? Tho it makes sense that there is, I just thought it was something not many would have seen the point in making(like a lot of disability stuff that's forgotten about) ... I also have debilitating chronic illnesses that has made me basically bedridden but love the idea the travelling too, & no way too much about it from vids like this etc, when it's not possible for me, like you said too. so beyond curious if you're able to tell me more about it & VR stuff you've tried and how it works, like is it something we do at our own pace to view the in person views of somewhere, or is it more game based & has to be done at the speed the game sets (so can try to avoid motion sickness & so many ppl say vr causes that issue).... But I also live way too vicariously through these types of videos(& really loving this channel tbh. Because he shows it as it is, as well as actual gives info on things we might not know unless we've been there, which makes the video feel super inclusive in a sense. but yeh, didn't have a clue there was stuff in VR that did similar to these types of vids... Tho I do have issues with migraines and get extreme motion sickness (due to, i forget what it's called, but the part of our brain that lets us know where we are/standing upright etc with our eyes closed does not right with mine & if I close my eyes everything spins, as well as it just does it 24/7 too just you definitely can't miss it & worse when eyes closed... So have put off anything VR for that reason too. But if there's things that detailed out there, might have to be something to invest in trying myself, by the sounds of it.... Also I think I watch these kinds of videos too to get away from the reality and real world for a lil while, just like anyone does, just more so on days everything is really flaring esp. so totally get doing it from that point too.
Wow the shopkeeper has a nice family humble living and a very beautiful wife! I'm here living in America going to be 38 years old, no wife no kids barely making any money if not at all. Even though he lives in what's considered a slums I am envious of this man and the life that he's carved out for himself here. He deserves everything he has for being such a kind-hearted man. He might not have much money but God has blessed him what's the wealth of life. Who else doesn't always mean money, to have a beautiful wife like that both doing their parts for each other and their family, I'm jealous. She cooks the food for the household with pride. If only we could all live in this world in peace without the wicked spreading hate and darkness. A world where racism and religious persecution is non existent.
Thank you. I read your comment twice and paused the video to ponder over somethings. I am single myself just like you. These things we saw in this video attract me just as they did you. I spent 7 years in the US, so have a fair idea of both countries. Would you believe me if I say I have never been outside of my native North West of India while it was exactly the opposite in the US. Driving solo for 600-800 miles in a 24-hour time frame was common for me. Pat, I have suffered from depression for years due to some reasons. Fighting to come out of it though I need to get out of my apartment! You are a kind man at heart. Would it be alright if we stay in touch? I am on Twitter. Maybe, discuss stuff and possibly make plans? I am a very laid back person who doesn't like crowds and insane noise. However, I have begun to realize I must change some of that if I want to improve my life. I will give you my Twitter if you are interested. Also, I'll save this comment somewhere so that I message more folks like you and me. I wouldn't be checking tags of religion, color, nationality, etc. Thank you and you are loved, remember that always. We could travel to some places together in the future. I see no harm in being optimistic, open to others and being a bit "mature" than most of the folks I come across these days.

What I absolutely love about places like India is how there seems to be some kind of raw freedom. Like, things are allowed to be chaotic, and that gives a sense of freedom and autonomy. While where I am from, everything is so ordered that it feels suffocating at times,.
Where do you live man? Living in India, especially in cities and towns, is chaotic. But it does come with its own problems of indiscipline and rowdy behaviour. As an Indian, I wish there was stricter implementation of rules because it can get overwhelming to navigate markets and roads.
@@philosophizing_existence I’m from the Netherlands, and it is like the exact opposite, everything is ordered and thought out. Which of course is very nice and reliable, but at the same time there is no room for freedom, for your own ideas, etc. Of course I do not wish to romanticize poverty or corruption, but I truly believe there is something essential about chaos in society, not bad chaos, but chaos from freedom and diversity of people.
@@LesterBrunt I get that. I have been to Singapore and it was amazing to see clean streets, disciplined traffic, and people not staring at you.
