If I may ask which radio do you prefer the RT95 the DB25D or the UT-778 UV? I’ve been looking at these but as a newbie figured I’d ask an experienced person. TIA, 73! PS I’m a licensed in Ham and GMRS.
The Radiodidty is an FM/DMR radio which is altogether different. The Anyone is more similar to the Retevis. FWIW, Retevis has a very good reputation for customer service and so far I have experienced the same.
@@lifesparagon I am a rag chewer. I noticed a good feature, which is that when it gets too hot it protects itself by reducing the power output until it has cooled down.
@@tuckmeat yeah I saw that little self preservation technique. What antenna tuner do you recommend, I just got it all hooked up and realized I didn't get a tuner. Thanks for the reply.
@@lifesparagon You don't need a tuner; just get an antenna capable of covering the entire frequency range. On my Jeep, i use the Comet CA-2X4SR like this: amzn.to/3AbZ6eq. That one has NMO mount, but they also make one with a UHF mount.

Does it cover the GMRS frequency range?
yes, all the way up to 490MHz
I was drawn to this unit, would you recommend a similar unit for the rag chewers of the group? Lol hate to burn it out with my talking.
