Awesome influences he had. He mention someone like Tim "Herb", which immediately makes me want to hear some old Incubus sounds, such as S.C.I.E.N.C.E, combined with Primus.
DW drum set, Sabian cymbals and now Vater drumsticks.......that's a perfect setup
i went from vic firth to vater. the vaters just felt alot better in my hands and felt like i had more stamina with them
Same actually. I almost like the way Vater sticks are textured more. If that makes sense. Haha
They also last a LOT longer than Vic Firth.
for a self confessed 'undisciplined' drummer - I think Jose is great...but we share very similar influences so I probably would say that!
Such a great drummer/musician! Definitely a huge influence even though I'm a bit more of a jazzier drummer but Jose's just something else!!!
