338 is lacking performance but 342 is screaming fast!? Y’all are smoking crack on the Prime review…..draw cycle is smooth and easy and it holds better than anything I’ve shot.
I couldn't agree more. Probably the nicest drawing hunting bow for the speed it produces of 2023. It's noise rating it almost exactly the same as the Phase 4, with a much nicer draw cycle and less $$$. It is both faster and quieter than the new Hoyts. Faster and quieter than the PSE Fortis EC2. A very nice bow
The draw cycle was the only thing I liked about that bow, the back wall was middle of the pack, really the only bow I shot that had a stand out back wall was the martin though. We had a unique privilege to shoot several bows back to back and I can confidently say that bow had the most vibration of anything I shot that day. Makes me sad, I really liked my revolt X and had high hopes for the carbon one.
Lost me sd soon as Dillion said he would never buy a Bowtech. Not that model but the brand. Like giving truck reviews and saying he would never buy “this” brand while doing reviews
I would never buy a ford their interior is super nice. But diesels need injection systems they suck problems all the time. That being said I would never buy a prime or PSC. Never.
Skip is the man and so is gearhead. Like you said it’s either a love or hate on looks but at end of the day it’s what gearhead brings to the table. One of my most accurate bows I’ve owned. Quiet, no hand shock, speed and if getting a smaller model of course compatibility!
@@Chestthumperoutdoors - as a viewer, a new viewer, your reviews need to be unbiased. Yes, I am a Bowtech shooter. However, I like to learn about all bows. When someone comes out of the gate before they ever open their mouth about a specific bow and say they’re not a fan of the company, you know where it’s going to go. Reviews need to be unbiased.
Thoroughly enjoyed your review, thank you. I don't like that there is "string outboard the limbs" in that the yoke deal attaches to the outboard end of the axle on the Darton. I would catch that on stuff in the swamp.
The SS 34 was the best bow at the show. The Darton Prelude was a close 2nd IMO. Darton stepped up to the plate big time. BTW saw you guys at the show and subscribed to see your reviews.
It's people's opinions. It doesn't means what they feel is what you're going to feel or like. Just like guy before him said about the PSE being horrible. These guys like it. Another Ford vs Chevy. Every bow is not made for everyone.
Most of these bows are a zero. If I can't shoot it or even buy it because they don't make a left handed bow what good are they? They are leaving out a huge amount of hunters and target shooters. Fricken amazing when you think about it.
All reviews have a bias by archers lol If you like Bowtech then you will lean that way I A review etc. It's hard to give an unbiased review, people do it and don't even realize they are.
Thank you for watching! When we did this video we took notes independently of one another and didnt discuss the bows before filming. This allowed us to make independent assesments. Just so happened we all liked similar things on each bow.
I shot it back to back with the other bows in this video. Id say I'm qualified to give my opinion on it versus the others. More qualified than most, especially those with biases.

Prime sucks brother
The review is not about IBO... these reviews are based on side by side comparisons to each of the compines that were at the 2023 ATA show.
Prime definitely is lacking when compared side by side man, it’s just that simple.

Don't sleep on prime
Carbon One - 2 out of 10 WTH! Draw cycle is amazing , back wall is amazing, I did not feel much vibration.

carbon one also probably had the worst balance out of the bunch to and wants to jump@@Chestthumperoutdoors

I noticed that too....

Just not a brand he likes. Everyone likes something different.
I shot a revolt X 2 years ago and loved it.

In that case he shouldn’t have even reviewed the bow, period.
I would never buy a bow tech either

He is an awesome guy. You can tell when talking to him the passion he has for archery and for his.companh
That Obsession XBR looks like a Hoyt Ventum nockoff.
Because it has the arch in the Riser? Other than that, they look nothing alike.
Thank you guys - honest reviews is all one could ask for. Great job!
Thank you for taking the time to watch! Number one rule of this channel is all reviews will always be honest.

You mean the yokes from the E system attaching to the outside of the limbs?
Dave is the man best arrows in the land
If you didn’t shoot an SS34 or a Mach 34, you’re doing yourselves a great disservice.
we stuck to the flagships from each brand for this. If we shot every offering for every brand it'd be a 2 hour video lol
Of the 2023 Bowtechs the SS34 is their best option, the Mach 34 is a beautiful shooting bow. PSE EC2 cam is amazing.
Shot thess34 , n the omnia , prob gonna be the ss34

Thanks for that!!! If you ever see yes around say hi!

HCA tss back in the day .. carbon..2.9 lbs
That is insane!

Im not a brang guy. Ive owned about everything there is. Some bows good some bows maybe not
I disagree with just about everything y’all said 😂
First time watching your videos. Could have saved a bunch of time with just one guy giving his opinion as they were pretty much the same
Thank you for watching! When we did this video we took notes independently of one another and didnt discuss the bows before filming. This allowed us to make independent assesments. Just so happened we all liked similar things on each bow.
Sorry to say but you have no clue what your saying about the Carbon One

Can you Please do a best hunting bows of all time video?
That's a tough video to make because its all opinion based. I can work on it though!
Dam bother you need to learn how to draw before you start giving advice
