I've never had an issue with FHP. People down here drive really bad, so they've got plenty of cars to stop if they want to.
@@TheCopCar here in Alabama it seems we have a shortage of state troopers? If we do see one while driving it is rare,we also have an over abundance of bad drivers ☹️
My local Sheriff Dept has 2 Scatpak chargers that they mainly use on the interstates, they are marked slick top units with the full wrap-around front bar and everything, they look badass just not in my rearview mirror

This one threw me for a loop. I looked at it as I was approaching and noticed the black "FHP" license plate with the lights on either side of the tag... I couldn't believe my eyes.
I've got a photo of it! It's apart of the Troop C motor unit and works alongside a few marked units to do speed control and highway corridor reckless driving enforcement.
He should turn on his 4-ways, too, people don't expect that.
I wonder if that was a seized car.
I have no idea, I haven't seen any others... yet.
My local sheriffs office has a couple Undercover Silverado’s, ones white an looks like a everyday vehicle and the other is lifted and all jacked up
I think cops need these kind of cars in more places. Especially where a lot of car meets specifically in the mopar groups. Need to be able to keep up with the cats amd pacs

You would make some excellent videos if you got that Charger one day. Wisconsin surplus auction recently sold a 2017 Charger SE with 142,000 miles for $8,580 plus 10% auction fees.
I seen a New York City taxi undercover with lights and siren 🚨 going on a call. Beat that one if you can. That beats the charger anytime.
Had a friend in Vermont who was state police, made a game sort of when assigned to interstate speed control.
He would pick a (illegal) speed, and only stop cars exceeding that speed.
He said that even using 100 mph as his start point, he could be busy all day.
I'm thinking he liked the chase down a little.

He didn't bother messing with your average speeder, I think he was saving it for the people that were flying... most FHP won't move for 9 over... you gotta be moving to get them to jump out of the median.... because there's tons of people running 15+ down here.
@@TheCopCar fhp be worried about the wrong shit while they are worried about speeders a car full of drugs or guns just ride pass
I actually sawed 2 of these (I think it was the same trooper) at I-95 (MM76) and right on the county line. I was pretty amazed to see he was just sitting there but 4 miles later I saw him chasing a Camaro doing 80-85 in a 65.
My sheriff dept have 3 of these in GA and they're lettered. The dept south of me have 1 that I know of.

Oh I hear you man. Also a fellow Floridian. I've seen unmarked Mustang 5.0s, Scat Packs. They're pretty crazy down here and I've heard that sometimes they'll even try to act like they wanna race. Never race a white, black or grey Mopar. Mopar fans mostly prefer obnoxious colors anyway 😂😂
I know the cops in south FL love to play like that. We use to have a white Mustang in the Tampa bay area... but we (Florida drivers) decided to crash into it while it was parked at an accident... I don't even think that car made it a year. I don't think they replaced it, unless this Charger 392 was the replacement.
@@TheCopCar I'm telling you man, eventually they're gonna work their way up to Hellcats 🤣. I hope they use these cars to combat the takeover culture here. People doing burnouts, donuts and crashing into each other like bumper cars; jeez I'm sick of that. I used to know a cop that drove this silver explorer that had a very feint decal on the side that you could only really see if the sun it it right.
