@Konalo as if they don't juice in the Olympics. Also IPF is the most popular federation but it does not represent all powerlifters. If weightlifting could be in the Olympics, powerlifting can also.
400 DL at sub 105 is just at a completely different level. I mean, that is a decent deadlift for a world class wsm lifter with a deadlift suit and fig 8 straps + a little juice. Out of this world
Sanchez i dont believe is natural but huge props to him deadlifting 400 kilos conventional at only 105. Not even roid abusers will do this unless they are gifted
Hes got the best levers possible for deadlift, possibly in the whole IPF, if not all of powerlifting/strongman. Hes tested enough for us to assume hes natty.
Yeah, Ed Coan (what most people consider THE OG/GOAT used to deadlift sumo style (albeit with a somewhat narrow stance compared to some of modern athletes).
It’s all about leverages. People pull what helps them move the most weight, and it happens that generally for shorter/lighter lifters sumo agrees better with their leverages bc their arm length doesn’t lead to the same force off the floor as bigger conventional pullers. It’s similar to why heavier lifters have much wider squat stances than lighter lifters and tend to sink their bench instead of soft touch
Powerlifting should be an Olympic sport...
100%
Lmao no
That wont happen due to the amount of unnatural athletes in the IPF alongside poor judging
@@Konalo you're on drugs dude

To me, the 405kg attempt in the battle or the 83s, is the most insane even tho he failed he pulled it out of the ground
How is 396 by a 120 higher than 400 by a 105
they are not in a specific order
Seeing so many brits on this list makes me proud. We seem to be a great deadlifting nation haha!
that conventional dl was impressive
400 in conventional, amazing.
so relaxing rage!
Jurins lift should be first
They aren't in any specific order 🙌
Out of 10 lifts only 4 conventional deadlifts 😲

7:48 😅😅 the guy in the crowd
Damn, sumo really looks like whole different lift
Its like people dont realize Sumo deadlift has been around for a while. And only now should it be banned.

They gotta have a conventional only and sumo only division. Sumo is valid but just looks so lame
Sumo is more glutes activation,... Conventional is more hamstrings activation...
@@sebastienleblanc2708that has nothing to do with what he said😭

@@sebastienleblanc2708ok you know about glutes and all. Still you missed the point
I swear all this sumo pulling is discouraging. What is the point of competing against people cutting the rom in half.
