    Great looking technology, but I was thinking about the clogs the whole time. People will put the wrong item in the wrong bin and eventually create a clog. You'll have to keep a maintenance guy to check the system on a daily basis to make sure no clogs appear and, if they do, clear the clogs.

    • @fetB
      @fetB 3 года назад +8

      the access hole seems to be the sie of the pipe so someone probably couldnt even insert something that could clog or it would show at the entry point, at which point residents could just submit the notification. The wrong type or hazardous material is probably a bigger problem, though that exist anyway

      I hate fancy looking cosmetic solutions. Apart from filling their pockets, what those guys claim to solve? No traffic of garbage trucks? Sorting in source not in destination? When it will amortize itself? An idiot designed a "green" postbox and another idiot placed it into our apartment. The claim is, postman will put the post to this "green" postbox, so postman will not use elevator and will decrease carbon emission. That stupid "green" postbox is plugged to power grid and running 24/7 . There is also another infra / network running 24/7 to support secure access to this box. And these do not produce any carbon! And the fun part is, no one ever use that stupid thing.

      @@mehmetbekirbirden6858 1. The elevator should be powered by green sources of energy, nuclear power is best.
      2. This system prevents trash trucks stopping every 5 feet through the whole area and instead puts it in one location.
      3. It’s cool

      I noticed they were opening the doors with keyfobs. You make people responsible for damages you’ll have no clogs. Be easy to track if everyone uses a key fob

      Not just the wrong item. Some items are just going to be dry and sticky and will get stuck inside of the pipes anyway. The only reason why a sewer system works is because of water keeping everything afloat. But i don't see water being used to flush this waste system.

Who do really want to have this kind of jobs, immigrants don’t won’t those jobs anymore, are western countries going to attack poor countries to force them exile and low wages jobs in the north ??

    This would work only in highly developed countries. I doubt this would work in India.

    • @novigradian1284
      @novigradian1284 3 года назад

      This is a perfect system for India. Much of the reason for garbage pollution in India is because trucks and other collection vehicles cannot get where they need to due to unplanned, narrow and congested roads. This system just requires underground pipes and large industrial fans, nothing too complicated or high tech/ expensive. You dont have to bother with relocation and large scale demolition of structures as would be required for building wide roads for Garbage trucks. You only have to lay underground pipes once and they would work for a very long time.
