I have several of their welders, one of which is dedicated for aluminum with a spool gun...very impressive, trouble-free machines. Is it possible to use an aftermarket drag tip torch with this machine?

I think so. I am looking at using a aftermarket straight torch for Cnc work and there are lots of options out there with the same connections. Even if the connections were different, you could easily adapt it to fit this machine. 👍

Very good information, do you know if we can use a machine torch on this plasma cutter, will be really useful on CNC PLASMA CUTTER

I noticed that your link for the welder is exactly the same as 17 other poster’s links for the Yes Welder. What do you have to do to get on this program and what do you get in return? Thanks. Mike

Hi Mike! Well, they contacted me a few years ago because they saw my review of their welder and liked it. They wanted me to review some of their other welders and so I agreed and so that is how it started. All I do is an honest review and post the link purchase to the welder on their site. I get to keep the welder so you could say there was a benefit there for doing the review. They also have an affiliate program where if someone uses your discount code, they get 10% off their purchases and I get a 10% commission. This used to be decent program but over the last couple years they run constant sales of 15-20% off, so the affiliate program really has died as a result of this. I really have had amazing results with their welders. I just got home from welding all day with their Mig 250 Pro which I have used constantly for years in my welding business and have worn out 2 Mig guns and it is still going strong. Hope this answers your questions.👍😊Don

@@PranaTech Thank you. What I had expected but the plethora/inundation of RUclips videos reviewing this product and offering the same $319 purchase price, I thought I would see why the coincidences. Add the fact that Amazon no longer offers the 65DS, I thought I would ask. Thanks for your response. Mike Good luck in all your endeavors!

What air compressor are you using?

    • @PranaTech

      I’m using a 3.5hp compressor that puts out about 9.5 CFM 👍😊

I bought the cut 55ds pro. I’m having water problems in my compressor line in Phoenix. How do you handle moisture in Tucson?

I bought an inline drier from harbor freight and then drain it about once a week during the summer. Here is a link www.harborfreight.com/38-in-nptf-desiccant-dryer-and-filter-58180.html?_br_psugg_q=air+drier 👍😊

I’m using 1/4 npt. This is a 3/8 npt. Should I be considering upgrading to a larger hose?

I didn’t. I just put the reducers on either side or just find a similar unit on Amazon that is 1/4 npt 👍😊
