@sergio carbajal Kaiser Ghidorah doesn't really exist in the Monsterverse, and seeing as King Ghidorah is now dead, it can't be him. Battra and Mothra work much better as enemies in a Mothra solo movie because they are Yin and Yang to each other in addition to being brother and sister, respectively. Both want to protect the planet, but Mothra wants the human race to survive as well, whereas Battra wants to wipe the human race out because he's convinced WE are to blame every time Planet Earth becomes "sick": WE are the plague that is causing that sickness.

Fun fact : mothra is a titan who is considered as a god. She is the goddess of reincarnation and is immortal. While Godzilla is considered as a king. If he dies, he dies.

I love the monsterverse version of her. She has all the best features of the insect kingdom: From beauty of a moth, to bioluminescence of a firefly. Arms of a praying mantis, to silk of a spider. And a deadly stinger of a hornet.

Monsterverse mothra does genuinely suck though, comparatively tiny wingspan, ugly body, and legs coming out of the abdomen instead of the thorax (wtf).

MonsterVerse Mothra's my favorite Mothra. She's beautiful yet threatening at the same time! She actually as legs & a stinger that she can actually defend herself with! I love her face & her oval shaped eyes & they move so she can be a bit more expressive than before & the fact that Mothra has Godzilla's eyes on her wings is a nice touch. I love the bioluminescence that they added to her. Another nice touch they added to the character that also helps express herself more than she ever could before. Wasn't the biggest fan of her larva form at 1st but it started to grow on me. It's cute but threatening when she needs to be. Got longer legs so she can fuck shit up if she needs to. Personally, my problem with it compared to other Mothra larvae is that she's given less to do. We never see Mothra in her larva form fight.

The Italian dubs actually give the different Showa Mothras their own names.
Only the one in "Ghidorah" and "Ebirah" are actually called Mothra. Its mother (the one that fought Godzilla in "GvM" and also presumably the original one in the standalone movie which was never dubbed) is called Watang, while its offspring seen in "Destroy all monsters" is called Polluk.
So the Mothra line of descent in the Italian Showa dubs goes: Watang -> Mothra/Deceased sibling -> Polluk
Ahhh my favorite Monster ever, and it became even more my favorite in the 2019 movie, like everything in it is just perfect, not too big, she's well rounded and balanced like it's not just her wings are strong but she also has other artillery as well like her prey mantis limbs and stinger as such, but her biggest selling point is her bio luminescence is just wow, her and Rhodhan had definitely the most biggest glow ups!!

What I like about Showa Mothra:
She has amazing durability! You see she didn’t get damaged by the Atomic heat ray that was supposed to kill her and she didn’t explode like the Millennium and Legendary Mothra when she was hit by Atomic Breath! She also has amazing strength. She carried Godzilla by his tail and dragged him. He weighed something like 20,000 metric tons, the weight of 5,000 elephants!
What I like about Heisei Mothra:
She is so cute! ❤ I would die if I couldn’t cuddle that thing! She also has some decent powers. She defeated Godzilla and sealed him away and even destroyed a meteor that was supposed to destroy the earth! She even was able to hold Desghidorah back for a while! Until he bit her wing. She also didn’t explode even though she was blast about 5 times! Even her roar is better than the Showa roars!
What I like about Mothra Leo and all his forms:
As a larva he hatched prematurely to help his mother! He even was smart enough to cocoon himself next to an ancient and old tree! He even was so desperate to save his mother but he failed. He has many abilities and flew through Desghidorah like paper! He even restored back nature after the mess! He never cared about himself, he only cared about others safety. He even went to the past and sacrificed himself, even though Moll was not going for the plan. He even killed an amount of strong monsters! From King Ghidorah to Sea monsters. In his Armored form, he tanked Ghidorah’s gravity beams, beamed Ghidorah right through his barrier, and cut off his wing within to slices! Leo sure is a badass kaiju!
What I like about GMK Mothra:
GMK Mothra give me goosebumps, she is probably the scariest design of Mothra. And it was pretty cool seeing a not so fluffy Moth other than Armor Mothra, Lightspeed Mothra, and Aqua Mothra. She even held back Godzilla without even losing any health! She dodged Godzilla’s atomic breath and survived when she was hit! She even sacrificed herself for King Ghidorah
What I like about Mothra 2003/2004:
She is so fast and flexible. She survived getting her wing cut and she also was ok after her leg was pulled of! She also managed to survive Godzilla’s blast 2 times and she didn’t die when she was hit by Gigan’s beams! She gracefully dodged Gigan’s weapons and Godzilla’s atomic breath! And she also sacrificed herself for her children despite knowing she will die. She even held Godzilla back for a while
What I like about 2019 Mothra:
She is so beautiful and majestic! She might be the weakest incarnation though. Her bioluminescence is so beautiful and her godrays are so pretty! She might have been ragdolled and one shotted by Ghidorah and Rodan. But the part when Rodan was hit by the stinger tbh that was kinda sad. And I like how they added some angry vibes to her roar like the GMK, Armor, 1964, and 2003 Mothra. And the part where she sacrificed for Godzilla tbh it was kinda funny, but it was more sadder. But not sadder than the 1996 Mothra death. And her roars are just majestic. And I love her wasp like body!

I love Hesei Mothra, but I loved Battra more I was so annoyed and mad when he died, he had so much potential, but they killed him off, but he died doing what he was made by the earth to do protect earth at all costs. He was a Dark Devine Male version of Mothra what not to love he also seriously underrated Mothra could not have picked up Godzilla Apparently while they were roaring Battra knew Godzilla was not completely unconscious so he told Mothra if he died, she would have to do his duty of protecting the earth and being his sister Mothra agreed. I hope they bring him back buts it's been 31 years since he died and there's been no mention of him so it's highly unlikely, he will be on screen again. I spent $3000 dollars to get Battras adult and larva with Mothras adult and larva 1992 original action figures best investment I ever made.

Mantis Mothra might be majestic but she isn’t all that strong. They removed her beams and pressure fields and scales with godrays, which is only used to communicate, silk, which is actually pretty good attack but it didn’t do much to Ghidorah, and claws, I mean she is pretty but pretty just doesn’t do it

They should make a movie that includes any of these other reincarnations while showing her original traits. The "aqua" version could have water dwelling insect traits and be amphibious, meanwhile the "light speed" version could be more bee or wasp like or even dragonfly-like. Unless they already stuck with the designs in the video

If you compare the new Mothra to a picture of a moth, it's actually fore accurate then the older mothras.
But then again the new one has a stinger and now that is what I want to see in the Legendary Monsterverse! :D

I definitely think in terms of abilities mothra is probably the most capable monster I wouldn't necessarily say she's the most powerful given how situations have to take place for her to use certain abilities but she's definitely got the most fights covered for instance with a little bit of time travel and armored mothra she could technically be burning Godzilla if he doesn't use his infinite style heat rates instantly fry her and it also depend on whose time physics they're running by because if you like me and you went out of your way to try to make the Godzilla versus King Ghidorah time travel to make sense then by Godzilla's physics the time travel ability when it work and he would win opposed if you go with mothra's she can to an extent alter time so I definitely think it's very situational but then again I haven't really seen those movies so until I have it'll take me a moment to be swayed into either direction for either Kaiju
