Fresh is awesome. But it is literally always riddled with the same problem: the playerbase. Everyone bands together to spam dungeons rush their way to 60 and proceed to parse Molten Core weekly (like anyone cares lol). The only real fun part of fresh is the first few weeks because most people are still leveling. HC at least makes it last a bit longer
Yeah unfortunately we will never have what we had in 2006 again because it's not the game we missed- it was the community.
The nail in the coffin for me was seeing people hard reserving items and requiring max level (25) to run Deadmines in SoD.
So busted.

@@starsareangels7 That's a bad argument. You get world buffs to see big number go boom and to get things done even faster because the test of skill in an easy game is the time it takes to do it. I'm not even saying that's what you should do but implying that people only get WB bc they're bad is silly.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna speedrun ever again (2 years was about 1.5 years too many), I prefer being more casual than casual but let's not create a false dichotomy here.

Another year? hell no. i have been waiting since TBC release allready. bring that shit in winter.
This is why I play TurtleWoW. There's no rush to endgame, you ALWAYS see people levelling wherever you are, and it's essentially Vanilla+ that everyone wanted. It makes exploring the world worth it again, so many more things to see, all in Vanilla flair. You can't really replicate that feeling in Blizz servers, it's awesome for a few weeks at the beginning, but everyone just rushes to endgame and then the player base starts to fall off.
I agree, having a community managed server allows people to pool ideas from people that actively play the game. The direction they've taken their ideas have been very creative and out the box, without taking away from what made vanilla feel vanilla. SoD in my opinion was too ham fisted in what content they added and the way they added it, felt very tacked on rather than decided with the core idea of "does this still feel like classic wow".
Adjustments to poorly itemised loot (items with redundant stats due to changes they made in the beta, think spirit on shields etc.), finishing off zones that were originally meant to be complete on release (Azshara and Hyjal to content such as Uldum), having epic items like the priest got with Benediction/Anathema available for every class.
Those above are just some of my own personal recommendations for an enhanced classic experience, and turtle wow definitely has the right idea.

Only problem with Twow is it's run by gayheads and the 2 servers are dead now

honestly SoD has been good though but i never really saw it as perma mode i would play it for 1--2 months then get off. I know people will not vibe with this but generally the fresh air especially phase one was so fun ofcourse balance blabla was an issue but i genuinely like this version of classic. Don't get me wrong when classic fresh releases i'm playing it 100%

Delves have been in ESO for a long time. It also has public dungeons with multiple bosses in each.
yea they've been in wow for about 20 years too, they're called instances. these are just solo instances. as far as the open world multiple boss thing.. theyve had that too for about 12 years... just weekly quests around the globe that generally involve a few minor tasks and a few minor bosses.
i don't know why delves are being gasses up the way they are. They are rebranded torghast.
@@-.-Monster depends, there are group delves. You can go into and maybe solo a boss or two but most likely can't unless you're really high champion level. I enjoy the concept of open dungeons wish there were more of a raid type delve.
@@-.-Monster Because they are nothing like torghast, they are more akin scenarios if anything. Torghast had way to many flaws, was a boring location, was mandatory, heavily punished you and wasted your time if you failed. Was drastically easier or harder depending on your class and or spec, and time gated the entire playerbase from being able to experiment or try new builds because you needed the legendary to go with it. Im not sure what kind of torghast you played that you can even remotely compare the two.
@@Zemilia22 i played the one with the guys that went down easily and had no problem with but i also play a class that is useful outside of raids. I thought the whining during shadowlands was a bit much and you just reminded me why i quit back then xD wasn't because of torghast though. It was all the Zemilia's running around crying about it.
It's torghast. just not in one spot. itll be equally difficult for the same classes that had problems in shadowlands. You will also not get rewards for not finishing on these bad solo classes.

It's also not mandatory like torgasht was, meaning if you don't like it you don't have to do it. Del es quite literally are scenarios with a fresh coat of paint and nothing like torgasht so keep being angry for no reason.

Fresh every 1 year. Start phase 2. 1,15 exp for slaying, 1,25 for quest and 1,33 for rested cap and gained. No dot limit and chromo
no point even touching the XP rates if you're only adding 0.15x and 0.25x either go for 1.5-2x or leave it alone tbh

1x exp for slaying, 3x for quest after lvl 20, 5x after lvl 30 and 10x after lvl 45 and 2x for rested cap and gained. And people will STILL dungeon grind. Quests needs to get buffed massively.
Fresh progression servers is what we need. Not just a fresh vanilla.

Also the players on pservers are much more like the players were in 2005/2006. Nowadays everone has a the raging obsession with min/maxing and parses and all that kind of shit

honestly there are different eras in wow. Classic/tbc/wotlk, Cata/MoP, WoD/Legion, BFA/shadowlands and now df...
Honestly they should have servers running for every expansion at all times. If I wanted to go back to BC I could just click on the option and maybe next month I wanted to play Wrath I could pick the option and return to BC the week after if I wanted to. Switch back and forth between them freely and keep the servers at the last patch made for each expansion respectively.
Fresh economy is best and pre dire maul gold is harder to get

They should just do one server that rolls through 1 year of vanilla, then tbc then wotlk resetting after the 3 years. Your existing chars could be migrated over to a wrath era server so you dont loose them. I would play that.

When I play WoW, I just want to mainly solo play but be on the same server with a lot of people and my friends, so I can occasionally do sth with a group. As long as people are on the servers, I don't care what phase it is or anything. I just want to play. But I feel like most of the playerbase has lost that and is bringing a retail mindset to Classic WoW. Not saying it's wrong for everyone but I do feel like the majority of people playing that way are doing themselves a disservice.
4:30 To that point, maybe it doesn't but what's the downside? They don't provide support anyways, the game is already fully developed and they could basically set every patch etc. on a timer, so no employee has to interact with anything other than maintenance. They just need to host one additional server.
Funnily enough, I won't return to Classic for a while bc while I realised the error of my speedrunning ways in WoW, I got myself hooked on other stuff with daily requirements...

Im playing classic cata to farm and buy wow tokens for free gametime. I rarely do multiplayer content. What needs to be done with the next go around is in raids, everyone gets a piece of loot at the end not this funnelling all the loot to certian players.
I think they should do a server that refreshes. I used to be really into the survival game Rust. Each month they would "wipe" the servers. Basically resetting everything. This always helped level the player base, and the early "wipe" game was always a blast. By the end of the "wipe" you would be up against people who played the entire time, had all the gear, and built up insane bases. It was rough.

All Classic Fresh Andies want is a new good MMORPG - the same as old WoW but better.
Thing is, they won't get that any time soon because the model is not profitable for corporates. So they riot. They deserve pity.
Funny because the majority of people that hate on classic here are the ones no lifeing to 60 in a couple days, then run out of content and moan the games bad. Go back to retail and play your patch every 6 months.

In my opinion, I love fresh realms because the economy isnt fucked and people are doing low level dungeons again. Is just fun to socialize while leveling and the fact that I can check out the auction house, look for a level 5 green and it costs 5-10 silver and not 30silver per piece because only people who buy stuff for their alts buying for that kind of price

The sub money is the same for all their products, but the classic era doesn't give them boost/mount collection money. So yes, vanilla doesn't earn them money.
@@Christian-cu7hs theres people who only sub for classic content, so yes sub money from classic obviously does help them, VANILLA in general doesnt have mounts tho so they dont make shop money unlike cata.. but it still makes them money.
I hope blizzard releases fresh once they hit a lul with cata and war within content, and seasonal stuff like sod/remix are over. Right now blizzard is edging the line between giving people so much stuff that is enticing that its becoming overwhelming. Sure for those who only engage with one version they are not experiencing that but I really believe the overlap between versions is far larger then people think.
What killed WoW Classic for me was the following:
1. Players dungeon spamming to level 60.
2. Boosting becoming a thing.
3. Bots flourishing because Blizzard doesn't do anything about them. Even if they do they already do enough damage before being banned.
4. Letting players server transfer.
5. Letting players faction transfer.
6. Letting players name change.
7. Letting players race change.
8. GDKP (which is like socialism, it might be great if things were perfect and ideal, but it's not so it is unfair garbage).
9. Allowing pre-mades in battlegrounds.
10. Not banning same faction griefing (i.e. Devilsaur Mafia, you can't loot and skin a mob faster than someone can just skin it because of the small global).
11. Parsing addiction.
If they corrected that stuff, I would love the game.
