My favorite way of making this is using home brewed tea and pouring over the fruit while still slightly warm and frozen concentrate of lemon or lime which is better than the bottled.
It looks beautiful! Back in the 60’s-80’s in the hippie days of Oregon we had huge “homestead” parties with many families that grew Marion berries. We made huge batches of juice very similar to your recipe but, we added Marion berry wine that we made from scratch. Those were the days!😊
Make sure when you use mint leaf you put it in your palm and smack it with your other hand this helps to activate the mint flavor and aromatics in the leaves (i work in culinary)
Instead of using ice cubes which will melt and water down your juice, make an ice block from a container that will fit through the neck of your container. You can add some fruit to it as well. It will take longer to melt and won't water down your juice.
Honestly I have to say I was glad to see her add the ice. The first thing I thought when she made it was that it was going to be way too strong as in sweet. I immediately thought she needed to add a little water. I really think after some of the ice melts this thing is going to be perfect. Just my personal humble opinion.
Thanks Justine, looks refreshing. Have a good Memorial Day weekend, remember those who gave their lives in service to this Country. ♥️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I hope she was using organic fruits because Strawberries,Blueberries, and many others are heavily sprayed with pesticides if they are non-organic, there are many effective ways to wash off the pesticides before eating or drinking them.
Hmmm, mint with orange? You had me with all the fruit, but with all that juice my blood sugar would go berserk! Maybe try raspberry or blueberry tea instead!

Someone asked what to do with the leftover fruit. You can eat it as part of your drink ... Eat it with a spoon after the drink is gone ... or make a jam ... or drain very well and freeze for later when you need frozen fruit for something .. or make compote to put on top of ice cream or atop warm buttered toast. People mention about this being a costly drink. It could be scaled down to make a cup or quart size using just an orange or two and juice it and a lemon made into a small portion of lemonade. Get creative ... and using what is on hand is key. No exact recipe is needed. Just let it inspire ... then go make something healthy and refreshing to drink. Enjoy!
Did you bother to wash/clean the fruit and mint leaves? Looks like you just dumped from the original containers. You should also wash the limes/lemons. Looks good but I would not drink it.
You could have made that really healthy by just adding purified water. Your fruit combinations were perfect without the processed cranberry, and orange juice, and lemon aid.
Gotta love the person making is the person hyping it up and the person trying it to, of course, give an overly exaggerated "MmMmMm" at the very end. The only thing missing is a horn for her to toot. Is anyone else's tongue feeling the acidity in this drink??
I didn't read all the comments, but white grape juice is very good when making any kind of punch. To save, I use the store name brand, instead of the expensive popular names.
Make your ice from lemonade and orange juice instead of water. As it melts, it adds more juice instead of watering the drink down.
All that sugar, you'll need some watering down!
Yeah but you kind of want it to water it down a lil cuz that's too much sugar in there
You want to put ice or water so that it's not so sugary
@@tory198511 then you should drink water.
You need the water. So you don’t die

Banana rum would be tasty!!! 😋
Use some spritzer water or sprite this drink later.. after being in the fridge.. yum
Very nice
@joy, Yea I said some ginger ale but hours be good to
If you puree the berries and some of the mint leaves together and add a squeeze of the lime and lemon it will give it a better flavor.
It looks beautiful! Back in the 60’s-80’s in the hippie days of Oregon we had huge “homestead” parties with many families that grew Marion berries. We made huge batches of juice very similar to your recipe but, we added Marion berry wine that we made from scratch. Those were the days!😊

Muddling the mint will bring out the flavor. Stack the leaves and puncture them a few times before tossing in the pitcher.

Ginger Ale would have set this off
Seltzer
This looks great! I’m thinking no ice, put in fridge over night to set and let flavors come together👍
It’s too sweet because there’s three sugary juice that she added in there with no water to dilute it
When you have lemon & lime with the rind in a drink & set over night it becomes bitter, from my experience.
Instead of using ice cubes which will melt and water down your juice, make an ice block from a container that will fit through the neck of your container. You can add some fruit to it as well. It will take longer to melt and won't water down your juice.

It WILL water down the juice as it melts.
, of course it will but it takes alot longer because it's a huge chunk of ice.

What do you do with all the berries after the drink is used up? Make pies, tarts, etc.??
Same question🤔
She dumps it in the trash/garbage disposal!!
She doesn’t even answer you. Guess she doesn’t care about her subscribers.
Wondering that same thing because by the time all the juice is gone that fruit has gotten mushy
throw it in a compost, maybe?

Sounds like my home state. They love to do those type of juices or water pitchers with all that fruit in it
I thought she was making a drink she just mixed some store juices together FOH😅😅😅😅
That sure is a lot of fruit to be masked by fruit juice
All the berries and mint will get stuck in the Spicket. Then nothing can come out😵☹️
You need to squeeze some of that fruit or break it up a little to get the juice out.
I was pleasantly surprised the 1st time I went to Florid and seen that most hotels have these jars filled with lemon, lime, orange and ice water in their lobbies!
Are you sure you learned that in fl?
Don't add ice. Freeze the fruit slices. And there should have been 151 rum or everclear added in the end.
If you would freeze some of the juice then when it started to thaw out like the ice will your beverage will not be diluted
If u let that sit in fridge for about 2 to 3 days it would be 100000 times better.
