I have been learning this song for a few months now and I can not sing and do the fingerpicking at the same time but after watching this video, I am encouraged that I will be able to after watching how you simplify the song somewhat. Thanks
James, just a quick note to thank you for your excellent tutorials on this fab tune. Your commentary on with the chord structure and in particularly the way you go into a lot of detail regarding the right hand and the syncapation for the intro in part one.... finally got it today.... Yay...!!!.. thanks again james, you now have a new subscriber ...
An excellent breakdown on this song , chord names, and solo interlude. Working on this myself, I had come to a lot of the same conclusions, except I'm working on playing that solo an octave lower. Thanks for all your input and hard work in breaking this down.
I appreciate the instruction you provide here. You have given quite a lot of instruction in these two videos. Back in high school I was learning some Eric Clapton and before that I was learning flamenco. I haven't been this challenged since then. So I am thoroughly enjoying this so thank you.

My lucky day. I was just looking for some ideas for how to fingerpick the solo. You're my new hero. Thanks a lot, neighbour.
You’re very welcome Lane, I hope it helps!

Hey James, are you going to do a lesson on "These Days"? And also some James Taylor lessons...?

Hate to say it , but that is completely the wrong picking pattern for this song .
subjective I suppose depending on what version you are listening to
Sorry I'm in the minority... your spending way too much time on the second cord....
fair enough Tommy - some folks like detail - others not so much - I do I guess
