Billy Dee Williams is an excellent actor. I love his Star Wars role of Lando Calrissian in The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker (as well as his voice work of the role in various Star Wars projects [most notably Rebels]), and his role as a pre-TwoFace Harvey Dent in Tim Burton’s version of Batman (a role he reprised as a voice role in The Lego Batman Movie)

And there's good new that Billy Dee Williams was also a friend of theirs when he discusses about his movies. Ben Makiewicz talks about his life in films and also an autobiography about things he did from films to DWTS in which he hurt his knee and had a blast of a time with Karina Smirnoff or Sharna Burgess, But he was a mind of a commander in the Star Wars Trilogy and on tv in a film Brian's Song. He also in the The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars, Motor Kings, Hodlum and Tim Burton's Batman. He was in the film Action Jackson and was on TV with General Hospital: Nightshift and more He even play Billie Holliday's boyfriend and husband in Lady Sings The Blues. That interview is tape and streaming for TCM right now.

@@shepardbook- no - "Chiefs" was a miniseries on television, filmed in 1983. It is absolutely, without question, the best television movie that's ever been broadcast in the history of TV. It is about a series of police chiefs and a crime that is uncovered, years later. If you have never seen it, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Billy D. Williams portrayed one of the police chiefs, and he did an absolutely splendid acting job.

@@user-xd5so5qh7j My comment was actually a bit of trivia pointing out previous roles for Billie Dee Williams (of course, Star Wars’ Lando Calrissian) and Stephen Collins (Captain/Commander Willard Decker in Star Trek: The Motion Picture). Way back when there was a thing called VCRs (Video Cassette Recorders), I watched and videotaped the miniseries during the first airing on CBS. Before cable became a thing, if memory serves.

I've always thought that Lando Calarissian is cooler than Han Solo.
